..if you have Phase Peak or Phase RMS error above 5 degrees, then
it can be successfull, but not realy.
If 26 MHz does not work propperly your phone cant sync to the BS.
No Network can be found, but low network doesent match.
(Check out with Rhode&Schwarz CMU200 or Wavetec GSM-Tester :cool: )

But with WinSui or with X-Focus you can change the AFC-Key value for the 26MHz oszillator.

I had never low Network becouse the 26MHz oszillator.

Try following:
Check out different provider-cards (with GSM 900 and such with PCN (GSM1800)) Same problem on both?
If not - try RX Path between diplexer and RF-Chip.
(you need to Know on witch Network the failure occured, and you need shematics)
If yes - try to change the diplexer or the RF IC.

If you have booted a complete flashimmage from another phone, it could
happend, that you have overwritten the adjusted RF values such as
AFC-Key, TX-PWM Key, RX/TX values ect. with wrong values.
Every Phone need to be adjusted at production, becouse the hardware has different tolerances.

What about this: one MC60 working well for months and after a 24hour batery recharge started to loss signal... then searching network and after one day going sometimes to network and sometines no...

BUT now: just keep looking for network but nothing more at all !
Complete off in signal !

What could be damaged ??

I wonder to know, because i got another one killed (cuted) on all keyboard ways but all the rest is good, so it can be a good thing to take pieces from it... just need to know what...

I made TP repair with Papua's soft. Everything is ok except battery. I have to charge battery after ~15 hour. I bought a new battery but the situation is same.

Sounds like Keypad problem!

Try EEPROM tools or anonther tool which needs manual ignition!

I Tried To Open My S65, I Unscriew The First 4 Screws But I Can T Find The Way To Remove The Plastic Covers-they Are Blocked In The Upper Section Of The Phone-just Under The Little Black Plastic Segment.. Anybody To Help??

Search the forum for C55 Battery empty.

Your problem is a damaged resistor on PCB. Value of the R is 330k

Try to format the phone and flash it with Winswup. If all is done correctly and you still have this problem you know that it is HW problem

have one cx70 swiching off random.
he can work fine for days and then turn off ...
tryed changing battery,full flash + eprom with martech, change crystal, reflowed cpu
still the same!!!

Friends I've the same problem with CX70 and S65 - switching off
Flash new SW + new bootcore , change crystal, reball cpu - done that + changed Dialog chip

still same :(

I've noticed that these phones are not switching off when I'am doing something with phone (like typing SMS or taking pictures or browsing wap)

Also without SIM ( Insert SIM on screen ) phones are not swithcing off so quickly

strange problem with S55 - no light at lcd and keyboard. I use solution from this topic (pin 3 at LCD connector to resistor from light regulator), no success :/. But, if i connect one pin from keyboard connector to gnd (second column, third pin), LCD light up. Maybe another track from lcd connector broken? Any ideas?
