I understand changing my Firmware to a 'Non-vodafone' version, such as the 'blue' Russian firmware will rid me of Vodafone colour themes/icons, and also Vodafone Live options and such, *but are there other advantages??*
Currently I can't upload Java apps and games via Bluetooth, will I be able to with the 'blue' firmware? Are there more bluetooth 'services' on the phone or other changes?
I can understand not wanting vodafone colours and such, but it's no big deal, surely there must be other reasons to change firmware if everyone's so keen to do it?
I'd be interested to hear others info/opinion on this topic.
