How to make or transform patches [Archive]

hello to all

I have seen so many patches (system and graphical) over the net but all of they are for C55 V24 and I have C56 V29 :rolleyes:

my question is:

Somebody knows how to transform patches of x55 to x56? or a link where i can learn how to? :confused:

to make an adaptation of a graphic patch, extract the pics from patch with vkp2bmp application. then make a fubu from your phone and change the desired pictures using siemens picture change. apply the resulting patch (given by spc) using v_klay.

for the system patches, you can use your brain and an hex editor. i've adapted MANY (around 20) patches for my sl55 v20 using this method. but if you know how to program something (except vcr's), disassemble your fubu, make the changes you want, and compile it back. then upload the modified fubu and be happy! if you prefer, compare the original fubu and the modified one, make the patch and apply it using v_klay.
