Hi guys.
I could really use a good newsreader.
Right now I use "Journal Bar" but it is not the best. I only liked it because of the weather option, but now I downloaded Spb Weather (thanks luckyels!) and I like it, it's much better.
So I need a good newsreader, preferably with the option to read any RSS feeds just from a link. I couldn't find any of the ones recommended in "best ppc awards 2005".

thanks for A6.Times. it looks very nice, and accepts RSS feeds directly from my URLs. However, it doesn't save a text copy of the articles in a cache, so it is only useful when I have an internet connection. Journal Bar keeps copies of the full articles and not just the abstracts, so the news can be read whenever, which is a nice feature and absolutely necessary for me.
so the hunt goes on! I'll post it here when I find the ultimate newsreader.

XCPUScalar 2006 2.96 does not seem to work exactly right on my divice and i was hoping that XCPUScalar 2006 2.97 would.

I am not even sure that it is changing the speed ... is there a way to check?

I set the speed to 208 and the phone seemed to work exactly the same as it did at 416... on all my other divices I was able to see a big difrance.

I know this is not a ppc program but you wiil need it to read all the Nfo & Diz files that come with zip and rar files you download. Run it on your pc thats it, and the next time you double click on any of the above files this baby will come into play. Must better than notepad.

I am pretty sure that you are doing something wrong somewhere. since this is a keygenerator and not a crack, it doesn't alter the trial version in anyway. you can try and run the trial version uncracked, and I am pretty sure that you will have the same problem. the xda exec IS supported and should work fine, so I am guessing some interference with other programs you are running, but I can't imagine what.
Another possible problem is you internet connection or configuration.
Can't help you much more than that, but I do know that it works on xda 2i. I never got to play with it much though, after I found out it wouldn't save full articles.

You need to install M$ .NET Framework 2.0. Just go to the M$ site, search for .NET Framework for your OS (this is for your PC, not your device), download, install, and try the kg again. Works perfectly! (Remember your user name is your PDA user name)

Only problem is that I can't find the expansion pack right now, I am pretty sure it was cracked at some point. If you find it by any chance, please post it here.

Hi there again. Well if you like journal bar, you might as well try version 3.5.4
it does save full articles, but doesn't work with RSS feeds, which are really the new thing. otherwise its a perfect little application.

1º) The bluetooth device must be correctly configured (Partnership between PPC and headset).
2º) The bluetooth feature must be on.

There are three files. You can use only the "BTAudioToggle.exe" if you want, because it makes the work of the other two together.

* Use BTAudioOn.exe Turns on the sound redirection to headset.
* Use BTAudioOff.exe Turns off the sound redirection to headset (restore to PPC speaker).
* Use BTAudioToggle.exe Toogle the sound redirection between PPC speaker and headset.

Yes the file was removed or has expired. I dont suggest you try this app. Its the beta and there have been reports of this pre-release version of hurting the Pocket PC really badly. I really suggest you try something else.

I have downloaded the Major Roads of Western Europe Map (v5.62) for Tomtom5 (v5.210). The download doesn't have the original map's name, so I just copied it to my SD card as Western Europe-Map under the root directory. It doesn't get recognized by the app. I have tried a few things but none works.

Does anyone knows how it should be named exactly?

tried the first link and could not find the same build you listed. fail instantly.

SlovoEd viewer installed successfully, but after installed my ppc light keeps blinking. The light is not green, it was red color.. i try solft-reset but the red light still there. i got worried so uninstalled it immediately.

word books 3.6 is more stable. im using it now.. but the rest still remain unsolved..

Hi to all. I like a lot this software: configfree from Toshiba that is a RADAR WiFi software for Toshiba equipments. I downloaded from Toshiba, a version for Personal Toshiba Notebooks and I adapted to my Desktop PC with a WiFi USB card, and works nice (I do work by changing a line on the registry, where I put the name of a toshiba device).
NOW I would like to make it work also on my PDA Ipaq, where I want to use it with a WiFi cf card in order to find possible hotspots through this nice software just like a radar. It's for Toshiba PDA e750 but I think is possible to modify registry (with resco registry editor) to make it work also to any Ipaq WiFi capable.
I found on the net a software named: e750configfree10.exe or a another file is: confree-e750-ppc2k3-10102wlan-it (maybe are different files)

The problem is that installation on my Ipaq, doesn't reach the end. Maybe we can stop cable comunication and modify registry like in a notebook computer:

Set value to a toshiba laptop model i.e. "Satellite 5205"
Worked for me on my sony notebook computer.

2.- El PlanMaker, excelente, funciona bien con lo que baje, de la direccion que recomiendas. Es muy lento para hojas algo cargadas con graficos.
3. El TextMaker en algunos archivos que trato de abrir, no puede y me dice en pantalla lo siguiente ën Programas Ilegales no se puede abrir y editar el archivo", o algo asi mas o menos.
4.- Sera que falta algun archivo para que trabaje mejor, sobre todo el Text Maker tengo problemas.
