Guys i hv just bought a htc gene (p3400i),
nd am greatful to dis forum for providing me with amny gr8 apps...
bt currently am facing a problem of managing contacts.....
i had synchronized my htc on a frn'd lappy nd it copied all of his outlook contacts to my phonebook....nw i am nt able to delete dem !!

First of all I would like to say thanks to all those who shared these great apps and games for the pocket pc. I very much appreciated everything you shared. Does anybody here have the cracked or with registration code the game Platypus? I downloaded a trial version and it only allows for three games, after that, you have to register to continue playing. Thank you very much and hope that anybody is willing to share.

AVG does that..... AVG sometimes shows things as viruses when it's not.....
eon's virus protection did not do it and my antivirus did not pick it up as a virus......and I have the best antivirus out there:rolleyes:;)

The keygen is good...... turn off AVG use keygen and then turn AVG back on......by the way, get new virus protection

AVG sucks!

AVG does that..... AVG sometimes shows things as viruses when it's not.....
eon's virus protection did not do it and my antivirus did not pick it up as a virus......and I have the best antivirus out there:rolleyes:;)

The keygen is good...... turn off AVG use keygen and then turn AVG back on......by the way, get new virus protection

install cab files in your device and run the keygen (PPCWCalc.exe) in your pc, in application select Resco Audio Recorder then write your device id then hit generate.

Ok i downloaded the files and did as per instructions..
Run "RunFirstOnPPC.REG" File on your PPC
but when running "PSKG.EXE" file it gives me some error and tells file cannot execute, obviously i run it from my htc pro and the new firmware is installed.

What is?
PocketShield is an intelligent locking/unlocking application. Prevents accidental touch on the phone screen specially when it is turned on not precisely by you. Oh! Now I see… So, how it works?

Is this a battery killer app?
Not at all! Tests performed didn't throw any additional(nor noticeable) battery drain. When device is OFF(standby) PocketShield enters sleep mode so no extra battery is consumed.

Is this a RAM eater app?
Not that much. It uses 1.45Mb of RAM. To give you a simple reference, the standard Windows Calculator which is a very simple application uses 0.67Mb. Let's say you hypothetically open 2 calculators at the same time, that would be the amount of RAM used by PocketShield, no big deal. And this because it deals with multiple sensors (light, screen, accelerometer). Now you may choose between "long press" and "press & hold" modes!

This utility extends functionality of hardware keys on Windows Mobile devices. It allows you to:
intercept almost any standard button: application buttons, WM5 SoftKeys, Volume slider, Action and even Red/Green phone buttons
distinguish up to 4 different keypress events on each button grabbed (single, double, triple and "long" keypresses).
remap each of the keypress events to "virtual" application button or assign them directly to one of the wide set of built-in actions.

As a result you may "convert" volume slider to up/down arrows, assign several essential application buttons to these "SoftKey" buttons and even assign your favorit alternative dialer to red/green phone buttons.

Known Issues

I guess i had to look for it myself and here i am, found it and i tried to uplaod it but it keeps giving me upload error that rar is is 80kb more and zip is loading error...anyway it works fine on my htc pro:)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I understand that PockeLight works for XDA Atom Exec even though it was originally written for Motorola Q (WM5). If you are able to use the trial version from Artamata, then the link below should be your ticket. I do not have an Atom to confirm, just trying to help.

I have found another peice of software called syncmate which seems to work, although i'd prefer to try and get missing sync, it seems the ratings are excellent on that.....

Yeah - I tried v3 too & no dice. wm6 comes is built on .net cf 3.5 while the app is on 1.0. Hopefully there'll be an update soon. Thanks much to both you & GoS for trying. If I find anything I'll definitely post.
