Reset your pda, after this worldmate isnt show in your today screen.

I already d/l again, succeded to unrar, install & copy the crack .exe file to overide the original one on the PDA. And thanks to STRYKEROUGE to delete PW of the .rar file, it make my job easier. :) :D :D
UNFORTUNATELY when I run it (the crack one), there is a messege:
"Your free trial has expired. Please visit our web site for subscription information",
so I cannot Update most of the data eventhough i already sync the PDA w/ my Notebook. :( :confused:
Besides that, I found "Airline List" in this version (4.0.51) is Fixed, but the the trial version of the latest one (4.0.62) is more flexible (I d/l it from pocketger.com).
Do you have the crack/serial for the LATEST version (4.0.62 d/l it from pocketgear.com)? ;) :p

I have used both softwares and i would recommend spb backup.
Sprite Backup didn't work for me it just crashes the machine every time.
Never had a problem with spb

I'm fast evaluating these two s/w, it seems to me that Sprite Backup Pocket PC Edition 3.1.4 is better bcoz some of the features are:
- able to back up directly to a PC.
- battery monitoring to automate back up when batt. level is low.
- create self-restoring backup files.
- etc.

Pfuuuuui !!!!! after following some info & advice from KBANTIKOS, LICAGA, APLEJUZ, STRYKEROUGE; after installing & trying some crack versions; after evaluating the latest crack from STRYKEROUGE for several days..... finally it works
I found that to run this LAST crack while connecting to the internet through PC via ActiveSync, the "WorldMatePro" item on the ActiveSync MUST be UNCHECKED. However i don't know what is it for ,since the s/w still can be used to get most of the updated informations (Currency Converter, Flight Schedules, Real-Time Flight Status, Global Weather Forcasts, Global Weather Satellite Imagery, etc.) then i'm very happy. ;) :) :D :D

Just wanna share to you guys.
I set scheduled backup at 05:00 AM, it started the backup at 17:00 (05:00 PM) instead of 05:00 AM.
Now i change the Time Style of Regional Settings of my Xda IIs / WM2003SE (Start - Settings - System - Regional Settings - Time - Time Style) to "HH:mm:ss", .
I hope it'll work at the time i want.
Anybody has same experience?

the registration infos dont seem to work for me in the download above. and if I try the activation code anyway, then i get an error message... error code 65540
has anyone else managed to get the new version activated. It's been out quite awhile already. It does phone home though and I think a simple registration is not going to do the job to activate it. the prog needs to be cracked i would think.

hi luckleys,
the registration infos dont seem to work for me in the download above. and if I try the activation code anyway, then i get an error message... error code 65540
has anyone else managed to get the new version activated. It's been out quite awhile already. It does phone home though and I think a simple registration is not going to do the job to activate it. the prog needs to be cracked i would think.

Fortunately IT WORKS WELL till now on my Xda IIs using WM 2003 SE, what's yours?
try this:
- install the s/w from the link i post. You should be able to run the s/w but in demo mode.
- try to UNCHECK the "WorldMatePro" item on ActiveSync window.
Here is the way to uncheck it: On ActiveSync window select "Options" tab, on options window select "sync options" tab, here you'll find "WorldMatePro" item ... uncheck it then press OK.
- try to disconnect the sync cable and connect it again to force PDA-PC to synchronize.
- after PDA "connect" to the PC, try to register the WorldMate s/w by filling in E-mail, Confirm & Password using the data from the link i post. Live the "code" BLANK, press "Submit" botton.
That's all, hope it works.

thanks for your reply.
I keep getting the same message. I deinstalled all instances of worldmate, the older versions as well. checked the registry on both my pc and pocket pc.. (hp hx4700) for any entries from mobimate or worldmate and removed them.
then I used the setup in your link to install worldmate 2006 v4.1 in the order you mentioned. The installprogramm wants to restart my pc, which i allow. The pocket pc installation in the meantime completes and I can use it till the frist synchronisation. After that the program on the pocket pc say trial period has expired.
I turn off the active sync hook for worldmate in the options menu and enter the data as you stated for registration but still get teh message that the trial has expired.
I would guess that somewhere there is some data still in the registry with info about an old installation that expired.
Any progs out there that can do an automatic cleanup of a pocketpc registry?
I could try a hard reset if all else fails. what do you think=?

WOOW you hard reseted? :( did you backup the whole things before you did it? I always do it before installing new s/w just for preventive purposes bcoz it only takes 6-7 minutes using Sprite Backup.
Your PDA HW & OS meet the s/w requirements right?
FYI, before installing the worldmate pro i run anti-spy on my notebook and removed all of the spywares (but not the cookies) it found, bcoz this s/w was so troublesome to me as well at the beginning, even all files in its directory were gone one day after installing it, and i have to re-enter the activations info everyday. I run anti-spy bcoz I suspect that the developer tracks our HW when it's installed & when every time we update the informations on the s/w. So regularly I run anti-spy on my notebook.

Sorry cracker.jack, i forgot one thing.
1. Remove "WorldMate Pro" in Today screen (Start - Settings - Today - Items - uncheck "WorldMate Pro").
2. If you use additional TODAY/LAUNCHER s/w you should delete the old/previous installed worldmate launcher before installing/re-installing it.

FYI i already de-installed & installed the s/w in my PDA even i did it TWICE and IT WORKS WELL.
the steps are:
- de-install the the previous s/w
- remove its item on today screen
- sync PDA to PC/Notebook
- install the s/w i posted, when it finish installing the s/w ActiveSync will disconnected PDA-PC connection automatically
- restart the notebook (allowing the installer to do so)
- run the s/w in PDA
- register the s/w by entering e-mail & password i posted, live the code blank
- before submitting, connect/sync PDA to PC again
- press "Submit" botton
- and that's all... it works on my PDA
so sorry if it still doesn't work on your PDA.
anybody has any ideas or has alternative crack/serial/pasword/activation code?

Ok, thanks to the developers @ XDA and PPCSG
We can now change the splash screen for the latest rom update on the iMate JAMin, 818pro, etc....
There are 2 ways of doing this
ActiveSync Method
1. Resize your image of choice to 240x320 ( if you dont it will be cut to 240x320 and you wont see the whole image)
2. Open your image in MS Paint (PC) and Save your image as 'welcomehead.96.png'. Don't rename.
3. ActiveSync your device and goto your "\windows" folder
4. transfer your desired image to your PPC's "\windows" folder and allow it to overwrite the current one
5. Soft reset and what used to be the blue windows splash screen (2nd one) will be replaced by your image.
Sorry, it doesn't work an AKU2.2 ATOM.
Total Commander Method
1) copy the welcome96png file to your desktop from ppc..
edit it... do not change the dimensions.
2) save that edited file as 'welcomehead.961.png' and copy it into your ppc /windows folder.
3) open total commander in ppc..
go to windows folder, tap on hold on the original welcomehead.96.png,
click properties, uncheck all the boxes under attributes..
select ok.
once select ok, total commander will refresh the directory,
4) look for the original welcomehead.96.png again.. check that now all attributes are unchecked..
if so, rename it now to 'welcomehead.962.png'.
5) After that look for your edited file copied from the pc ie welcomehead.961.png.. rename it to welcomehead.96.png.
then tap and hold and click on properties..
check the boxes that says " read only, hidden, system "
6) do a soft reboot..
u should be able to see your new bootup screen after the rom version is up...
this works for Dopod 818 with the new 2.15.13.27 os rom
I have attached Total commander(install from desktop PC) and one Splash screen, Splash screen is Welcomehead96.cab ( just copy to storage card then use file explorer and tap on it to install)

FYI when i did the second time of installation, i tried to live the "worldMatePro" item on the ActiveSync synchronized and it still works.
After removing the previous installed of the s/w, you better reset both the PDA & PC.
