Hi
Does anyone have the version numbers for NEC mobiles that the Universal Simlock remover will unlock. It says for the e616 and e313 as well as others Phone type N22i
I have had a friend who said his software version was SV13 after putting in the IEMI number and getting the code, he tried it but emailed me back saying the following
I can not get the codes to work on the NEC E616.
When the phone is switched on it says "please insert correct usim card", and will not allow any keypad input.
I tried entering the codes with the 3 card in which seemed to work but when I turned the phone off the message "usim card lock on" appeared before shut down. switching on with a vodaphone payg card the message "to disable the usim card lock please enter the lock code" appeared and after entering 10855390 the message the "usim card lock is now off" appeared but then the phone wouldnt allow any functions.
After putting the 3 card back in the phone is working as normal.
The message when I insert the vodaphone card is as per original ie "please insert correct usim card"
