Great idea... But I think about that someone include all stable patches in v.56 and make an Winswup version with all patches included. Of course if it is possible!

U could try making a poll and find out what features people want.. in order to know what to include (in case that not all the patches fit together)

I think the v57 idea with winSwup is useful. But of course we should decide what patches to apply. My first suggestion: all comfort-raising patches like Flash SMS, Java shortcuts, Card-Explorer extensions, ... all additional function patches, maybe selectable through app menu, something like AFA, online patching, service menu.

What should not be included?
most Mainscreen patches, because everyone has his/her own linkings.
unstable patches
shortcuts that overwrite functions which are important for someone (example: I have illumination on plus key, but some people want speech command on that key)
answering machine and dictating machine patches
additional menus for arrow keys or red key (same reason as shortcuts)
patches that don't fit with other ones
So in fact there are many (mostly older) patches which should be included. I can make a start with a list (in about six or seven hours), and you all can bring on reasons for not including this or that patch. Also you can add other suggestions (please with short statement).

Those suggestions are quite good. Sorry I hadn't had time to post my lists already. Some constraints:
mamaich's online flashing entrypoint is not necassary because of "switch between mamaich/acid's ATCGSN patch". The "doing part" of online flashing is in patch core.
- shutdown melody has to be configured by user, so either we set it to "click" (which is discreet) or let it out.
- invert display at keylocked: is this selectable? If not, it would be a permanent mainscreen patch.

LOL should not be included, because it's not really selectable. Also you can't really load starting animation anymore ... erm, it's somehow stupid patch for those (like me) who just want static operator logo...

Change logon sound is like shutdown sound: either you set a standard sound like "click", or you don't implement that patch. I suggest "click" as a standard sound which you can always change through patching.

how about the sms view patch by rizapn, the one that has number on the upper right of the inbox.. and the sms function on received calls, etc. also the extended call list and sms and call counter. :)

SMS view patch, you're right. Very useful. :) SMS function on received calls is also useful and does no harm. Call counter: okay, but in my phone I can't (and don't want to) access them because I have different message menu without --help-- item.
There are lots of patches I forgot. I'll post them soon.

No mainscreen patches (that can everyone install for himself), no unstable patches, no patches that change / delete important functions.

compression of sms patch: good suggestion.
the temperature patch: it's mainscreen patch. Not everyone wants it.
-mini-gps: same thing.
-and all the mp3 patches would be cool: not everyone wants all mp3 patches. I personally am content with JAD from Riza, I don't need the whole bunch with bass und treble control.
-also the answering machine patch extends the funstionality of our SL45: seems a bit unstable for me, but I'll test it soon.

-binary files: already mentioned before, I think.
-loadable ring tones: I'll test it.

i use this patch, and there are some bugs,
first. about use loadable ring tones for groups. u can set grou at adressbook - post code. and create .bin melody with the name same as group. this is not working. when someone from group calls, phone plays default melody. similar patch "Loadable calling display" is working perfect with using groups selected by post code.
second - when hide number is callig, LRT should ply 0000000.bin melody file, but play last played sound. and if no last sound is loaded (immediately after start phone) only "beeeeee" is played.

maybe not working only for me, but i think is better to share my expirience with others.

btw, what abou black list patch? i think that is implemented in this patch, or we can use stand alone Black list.

"Extended Call List" has two version. I don't like v2 because it doesn't go back to mainscreen when I press red key. First version is IMO better.

The problems i described are in "LTR- Loadable RingTones 1.3.vkp" patch by DeadMans. this patch has problems with grou melody and with hidden number. btw also has automatic rejecting and automatic answering not full black list.

You are right. patch`s name is not "Loadable calling display" but "ICD. Incoming Call Display v2.2.vkp" by riza. nice patch that working correctly.i used it only for compare. as i said, grouping by post code in LTR (isn`t there mistake? LTR-Loadable RingTone:) not working.

IMHO, mainscreen patches are ok as long as they are moveable (x,y) and selesctable. And as long as we can add other MSP individually, aside from the ones included.
LTR doesnt work with my phone. It plays the bin ringtone only 1 (ONE) time then stops. Assign any ringtone is better.

Nevermind about graphic patches, as long they work! User can always change with SPC or FFMod...I am for Graphic patches included, as long they are selectable(like SOL).
