I recently went in to a shop to get my gx30 unlocked. Now, everytime I switch it on I get **** and then some wierd manual diag mode menu. How can I make my phone load up normally when I switch it on? What do I need to do to exit this Diag menu?

do a search for gx30i unlock...download baboom soft...run soft without connecting a phone...press test then follow instructions on software. br torbay
i forgot to say don't worry **** means the phone is in testmode and this is normal and needed to unlock gx30. the instructions are to "complete" the unlocking process. all should be ok, br torbay
An easier way would be to remove the battery and put it back, turn it on and then:
Press: 1
Press: 99 (right after top right key)
Press: 3 (right after top right key)
Press: (right after top right key, yepp one more time)
Then press top right key(3 times i think) until the phone reboots

You must activate test mode. Press (at the same time and about 5 seconds until white display is shown) 0, 3, top right and power on keys.
Next press 0, 1, 2, 3 and top right keys, in sequence. The Diagnosis menu should be displayed.
Enter 99 and press the top right key. A message should be displayed saying "Input Mode No":
Next press 1 and top right key to EEPROM format. The following messages should appear (wait about 2 minutes):
· EE_FORMAT START
· EE_FORMAT OK
· EE_INIT(1) START
· EE_INIT(1) OK
· BBSRAM CLEAR END
· FINISHED
· PLEASE ANY KEY
Wait until all the above messages are displayed and then press the top right key.
Press the M key (very important). Message should display "Diag Param Saving".
Press red key to power down the phone. Remove and put the battery.
