It seems that the last two number of the imei
are the software release.
The lastest phone i bought had number 08
and software version 000114-1315
In the release notes found at http://www.esate.net/telever/t10sw_cxc125112.html
the following line can be found:
IMEI_SV: 08
So the imei number also contains the software version.
