Hello , i've got this sam E700 with the flexible cable interrupted (the main lcd was working only in a special position of the flip).So i changed the cable, with a NEW one but this one was factory malfunctioning, it even burned a bit when i swiched on the phone..So i chanced it with another new one (first changed was with components on it already soldered , the second one changed, was without any component , i moved the components from the original to the new one).
Now i have two problems:
1. i finaly planted the smalll components on the new cable, i planted the both lcds, but i only have light on the main lcd, the small one is not lighted at all.
2. i checked the new cable finalized on another phone and it woks kind of ok, because:the small lcd works perfectly, but the main one is working, with the image double sized, horizontaly and verticaly, even discomposed into lines and in the top and bottom is reversed.
My first ask is what could happen to the phone because it doesn't light-up neighter one of the displays?
2nd:what's the reason for the doublesized imgage of the main lcd?

Problem solved, i just changed the connector of the flexible cable, and all my problems were solved.

Hello all! This is old post, but it's good to know, from what I was able to determine, that IC2(the chip from the left side) from the E700 flex band can be either smth containing "A" character on it, and have 6 pins, either a LTNY(or so..) transistor as on C100 charging block, that has only 5 pins.
NOW:
If you put a 6 legged IC onto that spot, and that spot is ment for a 5 legged LTNY, it will surely smoke!!!! (Not a factory mistake here). (Wire on coil L1 (seems to me that is L1), will be damaged and needs 2 b replaced)
Also viceversa.
So here's what's to be done:
IF the last 2 legs from the down side of IC2 - on the right side - ARE joined together, use a LTNY transistor (used upside down - U can read LTNY upside down) - than IC2 is in the good position
If those 2 pins are NOT joined, than use the "..A- something" chip - with 6 legs!! This time u can read the marking on it normally. That's it!
Now, if some ready equipped flex bands smoke from first time, without changing any parts on it, must be because they were from start equipped with 6pin ICs or 5pin ICs when they were soppose to be exactly otherwise.
Sorry for not finding a shorter way into this metter!
