hi iv managed to kill a d500 after unlocking with wrong cable, as i wasnt sent the right cable initially. now the fone refuses to turn on, anyone else had the same problem?

How have you got the phone in TAT mode with not D500 cable? - noone of another samsung cables will work on this model. So explain detailed wich cable have you used and what u have done. Befor you can unlock the phone, phone data must be readed by software and its impossible with wrong cable.

i didnt get the d500 cable withit, it was leftout by mistake, so i tried the e700 cable, it didnt recognise the fone at all it was waiting for ignition, then all of a sudden i heard a series of beebs and then the fone went off, and died on me. hope this info helps u.

With tester i mean is the battery good charged?

brand new battery been charged up. also tried a fully charged battery from another d500 but not comin on or charging up. i have now tried the dead d500 battery in a different d500 and its working fine with full bars

Yeah check the internal battery , most likely its low on power, just try to boost it and power the phone.

what do u mean internal battery, is this the point where the pisstaking session starts :)
Try to use the right cable to flash it again.
:)
Or insert the battery the moment you press flash
You need to open the phone to see the internal battery, short the internal battery for about 10 seconds,then try to power your phone.

im rather new to all this, how do u short the battery and to what do u short it to. i dont want to reck it more than it is, as its a brand new fone.
Find the small battery INSIDE THE PHONE (it looks like one used on the ******* etc) and make a short circuit from the + to - poles of the battery.
That means connect the positive pole of the battery to the negative.
Don't worry it doesn't explode :D

cheers i'll give that a try when i get the courage to do it, meanwhile i'll wait for my supplier to send me the correct cable and see if that awakens it, if not its back to the operating theatre.

Remove small batery inside :) dont use fast pc for samsung phones :)

do not need that... you have power supply??? connect power supply in phone connectors, carefull with voltage .. phone after second try will turn on ;) , then just put battery and phone is alive again .. please do not use original data cables with switch it will make your D500 go dead ....
anyway you should have ordered all cables from your resseler.....

I have same problem withe D500 i have tested small battery It's good, my problem when i have flash D500 with Optiflash il 4% Phone don't Power on i have i have Flash it a gain with Tornado HWK but the same error message "1St Boot Failed: Power-Up"
Please is there a solution for this problem
