hi,
i'm having problems with connecting my e550 to bluetooth usb dongle on my pc... went through all the widcomm issues and finally got the dongle working, cos i can happily transfer files any which way with my friend's t610. So i assumed it was the bluetooth on my phone that was broken, annoying seeing as i'd just got it from ebay!!
BUT it turns out i CAN receive files on my e550 from my friend's t610, so the bluetooth on my phone must be working after all...
Think the problem must therefore be the setup on my pc, cos it shows the t610 as a mobile device (as you'd expect) but it registers my e550 as a laptop device every time, and it won't connect properly - fails on any OBEX file transfer.
Any ideas? Must be something i can change on my pc to get it registering correctly... Or do you think the bluetooth on my phone is damaged?
