BF3 signal is weak and sometime not work at all.
Are you sure that cell signal is good at all?

Check:
antena conector
external antena conector
antena switch
RX filter
R.F. IC.........etc.
If i can help you, look these :
When i change my 311 with 535, I was very happy because i'm a big fen of Alcatel ... after 1 year i change it with 735 ... BUT I chnage also the RED Pannels and antenna of 535 with these of 735 /it was 735 with red front cover and internal antenna from 535 -> strange, isn't it/ ... The signal was very poor/even in the city/ and I think that the problem is from 735 ... BUT when turn back original 735 Pannels and antenna the problem was gone ... now I have standart 735 /not with red aluminium cover :( /
This is ! Maybe you problem is the antenna ... who knows?

Remove capacitans from Antena to GND.Litle white components near antena conektion.
What's your point? Is it save?

Yes it is.Thew use for protect from strong signal.
Try it "mrjeep21" and post results ! You had a strange problem, really? /if everything is OK!/
