Yes, you`ll need PBB or J.A.F. Box to flash your phone they content the phoenix application => what you need;) It`s impossible to flash your phone with USB cable! If you have one of these boxes => Yes you can update your firmware direct to the last version if have it full;) Luck!

Man, when you flash your phone you can`t unlock it with this flashing process. Unlocking is individually procedure!

im interested in finding out if there is any correct procedure for installing the bb5 or symbian type flash file.

if u look at the flahs files they come with the same mcu version but different DP version. can some1 explain this to me and which is the best way to install these flash files.

from what i understand is that the main flash file is obviously 1.0 and there after u follow through with 1.1, and so on. BUt if a new MCU version comes along must we uninstall and start installing from that version ?

Thanks for the great work here. I am wondering, if any of the flash files include Japanese? The reason is, that I have two Japanese 6630, but as Unlocking looks still not very promising, I might buy unlocked 6630s, and flash them to have Japanese input. All I need is input and reading, I dont really need the Japanese menu. I found a lot of EURO files, but I also found APAC files. Is that for Asia Pacific? If so, do they have Japanese inside? And the last question, thise Japanese capable flash files will enable the ugly Japanese Vodafone menu?

u have flashed the latest version with brandings... so you cannot downgrade at the moment..


try to flash the erase file by TRK, as MCU! (FBUS)


then try to power on phone, if fails, reflash with mcu and ppm as above! (FBUS)
