Had a D500 with a faulty numeric keypad brought in for repair. Repaired. White screen always when switched off. Switch the phone on, and all is well. No excessive battery use. The I/O connector is not shorting, and the inside of the phone is spotless, and the phone has been fully re-flowed..Any ideas, as this is the first D500 I have had to repair I am getting a bit short of ideas.

decarbon d cercuit with pms & heat it, power it on if it does flash it.

Ive had this problem on several D500s, turned out to be fluid damage, take the ribbon cable out of the phone and inspect each end for water marks and if you cant clean it off replace the cable, I also cleaned the ribbon connectors on each PCB with some ultrasonic cleaning fluid and a toothbrush. Hope this is helpfull.
