this is a better option than drive mode in lifedrive as this allows background work..... though it might be dangerous if due to some other app the device resets..... it would lead to corrupt data and bad sector formations in the hard drive if some data was being transfered

kingtyce, I wanted to thank for the help with 2play it worked just fine.

I wanna know if anyone knows of a keygen or password for cardlauncher, or an app that does the same. I remember seen a couple of them around, but I just cant think of their names.


and last but no least, what is the best IM program. I got mundu, and it was working alright, but now, after a month of using it, it doesnt open, saying ot expired two weeks ago, no idea how that happened.

yeah I always get problems with rapid share. just make sure you watch it count down and enter the code immeadiately. one time I left as a tab in my firefox and forgot to go to it for like 2 minutes and it had expired, so I had to refresh the page and wait again. jut make sure you watch it count down.

well i loved the final version of ljp and would love to use tht primarily

but sadly it doesn't work

and nesEM says tht it doesn't support mapper feature in many of my roms including alladin



i tried all the slots and also the quick save thing (save state or whatever tht was)

it saves perfectly but it just doesn't load

within the game it freezes on load and starts frm the beginning on quickload


from outside the game if i load then it starts the nes frm the beginning

lets just wait and it more tries and ask more ppl related to programming of ljp

there are many games in which you have to duck and shoot or duck and move at the same time

i can't press two buttons on the 5-way nav at the same time and changing the controls totally screws the way i am used to playing the games

i think you can't beat doc to go


the only drawback i'd feel there is in docs to go is that it takes way more space than it's supposed to be


it holds around 12 megs of your productive ram at ransome




anyways i might not be aware of any good qualitise of quick office

blezer is for now the only sensible browser if you want to do serious work


or else you could use universe uploaded by me



the only drawback inpite of having an awesome interface and wayyyyyy more features than blazer is tht it doesn't support ssl so you might not be able to open the beta mobile version of gmail and yahoo


but the html version will just work fine

last time i tried powerrun..... it gave me the super crash on my LD

last time i tried linkstart pro v2.3...... it scre]wed up my files app(many applications depend on this one... including agendus, docs to go, media, background changer, etc)..... i had a very hard time with this one particularly


i think it was card reader only which i tried before linkstart..... it has a not very nice interface and is really stupid... just like linkstart it moves the ram apps to card and creates a link for them





now i am only going to try zlink by zztech

it can crate a ram link for any thing on the launcher

not only apps but also docs


it's going to be super amazing

so it's here and happening i just crated a progress report for LJP 1.0 final





Ljp final is finally out and it's worth the wait too.
The browser has a little better interface than RC8
There is background music which is usually mario and the browser remembers what was selected last.
NES just keeps getting better and better. I fee that the resolution for the NES have become better. The speed has improved drastically.
Smario now feels like the original mario on those proto video games. I have only tried the high resolution screen of my lifedrive and the colours are really rich.


SNES is just completely worth mentioning.
The speed is like a rocket even without overclocking!!!!! Sounds like heaven! Though there is still no support for two keys at a time.... It's still mind ****ing.


Gameboy colour is not the most developed part and the resolution is still as bas as ever. Speed is o.k. And i feel that gameboy has been the most undeveloped part of the project.

NesEM can't even come near ljp. Ljp is the best. NesEM shows stuff smaller and the sound quality is disgusting

Though the final edition turned out completely amazing..... I still suffered the problem of being unable to load saved games in NES (i have always had this problem..... NesEM saves them perfectly). SNES and GBA, GBC work completely fine.... I am trying to forward this message to ljp forums.... and would really appreciate your help..... I seriously think that they should develop ljp on lifedrive and then see the bugs and correct them.

so it's here and happening i just crated a progress report for LJP 1.0 final





Ljp final is finally out and it's worth the wait too.
The browser has a little better interface than RC8
There is background music which is usually mario and the browser remembers what was selected last.
NES just keeps getting better and better. I fee that the resolution for the NES have become better. The speed has improved drastically.
Smario now feels like the original mario on those proto video games. I have only tried the high resolution screen of my lifedrive and the colours are really rich.


SNES is just completely worth mentioning.
The speed is like a rocket even without overclocking!!!!! Sounds like heaven! Though there is still no support for two keys at a time.... It's still mind ****ing.


Gameboy colour is not the most developed part and the resolution is still as bas as ever. Speed is o.k. And i feel that gameboy has been the most undeveloped part of the project.

NesEM can't even come near ljp. Ljp is the best. NesEM shows stuff smaller and the sound quality is disgusting

Though the final edition turned out completely amazing..... I still suffered the problem of being unable to load saved games in NES (i have always had this problem..... NesEM saves them perfectly). SNES and GBA, GBC work completely fine.... I am trying to forward this message to ljp forums.... and would really appreciate your help..... I seriously think that they should develop ljp on lifedrive and then see the bugs and correct them.

U can't...gba isn't supported by ljp:(

yup it is different

you can't oveclock without having corrupt dbs and your device stuck up every time you start and the disk rotates


but in a way it's way cooler than othe palms

with persona; experience.... my LD has alredy died 4 times within the warranty period


they hav given me a good build this time and now it has already run for half an year


the harddrive is not very good and dies after some time


i have something special this time in my LD

I was castigated the other day. Rightly.

I had written a comment piece about the Windows Mobile OS. My basic premise was that it was not as good as the Palm OS. My experience of the WinMob OS up until then could be best summed up as helping a steady stream of WinMob device users to get their devices up and running again. Yes, I am always armed with a paperclip in case of emergencies!

But, I have to admit, that it was a flimsy premise on which to write off an operating system. So I apologise.

In fact, so apologetic was I that I went out and got hold of a WinMob OS device - an HTC Touch - so that I could write something more substantial. I made that sacrifice for you, dear reader! But how much of a sacrifice would it be?

Well, let's start at the Start button. Actually, how about we start at the power button? We press that and wait. And wait.

I know that I am not comparing like with like - the HTC Touch is after all a smartphone and the TX is a pda without a phone - but even so. The wait just to power up seems like an age next to the TX. Click the TX's juice button and it's ready to go. Click the HTC Touch's on switch and you'll have time to go and make a coffee... and maybe some toast... possibly a small roast meal provided that you've already peeled the potatoes.

Possibly you can see where this is going. I actually spent a fair amount of time last week speaking to WinMob OS device owners and asking them why I should like it. The most common answer (from numerous users) was that it syncs very well with Windows servers. Well done, then!

What it cannot do is simply identify and connect to a new wifi network. It seems to look for the previous one and, if it's not that, you have to fiddle about trying to get it to find and connect to the new one - regardless of whether you've used it before. What a carry on!

Everything useful - and I use the word advisedly - is hidden like some great secret of the Pharoahs behind a myriad of menus.

I mentioned to the person who originally expressed his annoyance that I would write a comment without trying something, that I had found just one thing that I really liked about the device. He said, without even thinking about it, "Bubble Breaker!" He wasn't saying that that was the only good thing about it - after all, he likes the thing - he just knew what the best bit was!

I really wanted to like it - really I did. But it was an awful awful experience. I wanted to go back to the TX. I kept asking people to tell me what I was missing and nobody really could.

The TX is such a great bit of kit with an incredible OS. It works so well. The connectivity is so much more fluid on the TX. I am even willing to forgive the TX the shortcomings of Blazer. There is an absolute wealth of great software out there for Palm devices that can do anything that a WinMob device can do - and better. And faster. And smoother.

There is something truly 'Windows' about Windows Mobile 6. It looks wonderfully familiar and then it becomes wonderfully familiar. It really is a Windows experience. I think that is what did it for me.

I have said it before, others have said it before - Palm, if you are reading this, please update the OS. Windows really is no competition.

So, I've had my week. I'd like it to stop now. Thanks!

Hey life drive, I got a reply for you. Its from the guy who MADE LJP.







Tell him to update the firmware to the 2.0 version.

ALso that there's no "resolution" difference in NES, SNES or Gameboy, and as far as I know, no dramatic speed optimizations :P I think he just let the frameskip on "Auto" and didn't notice it.

I really can't know what he means by "Gameboy's resolution is as bad as ever". What does he want us to do, hack Pokemon so it's 640x480? :P Tell him to use some of the 2X filters. Unless he means the Gameboy's image is ugly, well, then complain with Nintendo. Oh and there's no GBA, Crystal is a GBC game :P

NesEm's sound works right and it has a scaling option, custom filter included (although the filter is slow).

NES saves in LJP for everyone, no? It just seems the "load" button in the launcher is broken for al lsystems in the last release.

I have a LifeDrive, developed and tested RC3 on it, and it works perfectly. I'm just going to send 1.0final to it now :)

if you don't want to use the multiuserhack way like samphex suggested, you can use this keygen http://rapidshare.com/files/92425185/PktQuicken.keygen.prc.html.

install the keygen then put in any number. it will show you real serial. write that down. then delete keygen and install pocketquicken and register with the serial given to you by the keygen.

Perhaps a back up buddy application, and maybe a shoppling list that you can add the prices for each store ( I dont know if they even have something like this or not? ) Just plainly simply I would like to see a list of all the goodies someone has that I can take a look at that will work on my device that I have. I would love to have some new things that works with a code. I stumped accross this forum only last night, and stayed up late looking on here. I think I may be hooked, LOL !!! So let's say I am running a Mac OS theme on ZLauncher, with Palm Revolt I can just download the skin and don't use ZLauncher?! :eek:


it's like this


zlauncher allows you to launch applications


and palmrevolt allows you to change everything inside all the applications


for example .... in blazer you got these boring same old palm buttons

with zlauncher you can't do anything abt tht

with palmrevolt... you can make them look like mac buttons or windows buttons

and they also affect title bar and drop down boxes , menus, radio buttons, check boxes and many other things




so as for me...... i don't use zlauncher but i use skinUI which is a competitor of palm revolt... developed by dmitry of palm powerups


as of now i am very serious abt my LD and don't want to experiment with palm revolt..... i am very happy with skinUI




if i get reviews frm other ppl ..... tht palm revolt is way better than skinUI then i might as well change

Hey life drive, I got a reply for you. Its from the guy who MADE LJP.







Tell him to update the firmware to the 2.0 version.

ALso that there's no "resolution" difference in NES, SNES or Gameboy, and as far as I know, no dramatic speed optimizations :P I think he just let the frameskip on "Auto" and didn't notice it.

I really can't know what he means by "Gameboy's resolution is as bad as ever". What does he want us to do, hack Pokemon so it's 640x480? :P Tell him to use some of the 2X filters. Unless he means the Gameboy's image is ugly, well, then complain with Nintendo. Oh and there's no GBA, Crystal is a GBC game :P

NesEm's sound works right and it has a scaling option, custom filter included (although the filter is slow).

NES saves in LJP for everyone, no? It just seems the "load" button in the launcher is broken for al lsystems in the last release.

I have a LifeDrive, developed and tested RC3 on it, and it works perfectly. I'm just going to send 1.0final to it now :)

nothing ... they just want to sc]rew their wonderful lifedrive(s) and TX(es) and want to let go of their wifi and other benefits

it should work, but just in case it doesn't work you are going to have to reinstall your old one back........but it definitely should work though. i tested it out myself with the newest version.

Perhaps you could do a little searching on the 'net & see what's available for the E2. Then you can request the progs here if they aren't already listed. To list what's available for use on the E2 would be a REALLY long list.

NorthGlide undo was just a really cool app which would backup your PIM data and saved preferences and restore them on their loss

resco backup can also do that ... you can even schedule rescobackup to actually backup data during the night or something


unlike other backup programs ...... resobackup is not distubed by wheter your lock button is pressed or not

it will backup anyways


so at the end of this article i'd like to tell tht resco backup is in every manner better than NG Undo and that NG Undo is just waste of RAM

speaking of softick ppp no one ever replied to my question about it....the softick folder someone gave had no instructions on how to crack ppp....(plus theres no tutorial for it....)
Try this:
Download original (http://www.softick.com/ppp/)

im just wondering, are you having problem with save state or the actual save of the game? Metaview just posted a new ljp which fixes some of the loading(the "final" 1.0 had a bug in loading saves from launcher)

Try this:
Download original (http://www.softick.com/ppp/)
and install. Replace the old 'pppgate.exe' with the one in the cracked zip. (pppgate.exe should be in c:\Program Files\Softick\PPP\Bin )

I tried this but what happens is that the when i try to patch the crack in the bin folder, it doesnt work. then, when i open the app, it takes me to a website saying that i got an ilegal key. and it keeps doing it every few minutes.

I know I'm not the one who originally asked the question, but I've been following the forum.

You know my problem was I did not physically copy and paste/drag and drop the keygen.exe file into the C drive. Maybe thats the problem. When I clicked on the .exe file it acted as though it was getting installed into DOS and even when I went into DOS and searched the DIR it showed the keygen there but it would not run. As soon as I physically put the file into the C: drive and went back into DOS the keygen worked. So my suggestion is to physically move the .exe file into C: drive. Just drag the icon for the .exe file onto the C: and then try it. Really not just the average joe will be able to get into DOS and run a program. Also when you do get the serial for skinUI watch out and don't mess up the 0 for O (first one is a zero). Hope this helps a little.
