Here is the Keygen...run it in DOS

For those that do not know how to:

It's easy click start, open Run, then type CMD drag n' drop the keygen in the command promt and press enter.

Type your hotsync and you see your code!!!



Example:

Copy the keygen in C:
Run comand promp

I am looking for the same, but sadly I don't think it will happen. When you connect with Nuance voice it goes to their server, where it checks for registration....meaning you have to pay for it. Also, I have read that everytime you have it connect, it records the name/number or whatever you try to do and they can use that name/number how ever they feel. So if they wanna post it they can. Its burried in the Terms and conditions you digitally sign when you first use Nuance. :eek: SO..... if anyone has a patched version it would be awsome. But :( probably won't.

That is the most current :( the developer took down the site and hasn't worked on it since 04. Sorry I gave it a shot. What exactly are you looking for a ROM tool? And what Palm do you have I know so far there isn't a tool compatiable with the 755 yet.......let me look around and see what I can find for ya

Hey LD, jackflash looks like a great app! Hopefully Tyce, Saber or someone else will work on it. There are a lot of applications out there that should come standard with any palm and this is no exception.

OOOOOhhhh OK, you have the older OS so the ROM TOOL will work for you. Here is the link on treocentral detailing how to make a custome rom for your phone. Tell me how it goes, I am thinking of playing around with my old palms and see what roms I can come up with.

for backup try NVbackup which works great for me, cycles through 2 backups and sysnc the clock and reset after backup to get a clean start in the morning.

This way you can uninstall resco backup and see if its this app thats draining your battery

Thanks Mike, I have a treo 650 and I was looking just to free up some space on it.

You can actually edit the ROM with ROMTool, it sounds complex when you read about it but it's actually really easy. I removed a bunch of Cingular's programs from my 650 and put stuff like LJP in the ROM so it wasn't taking up RAM space. I also upgraded to the ROM to the unbranded 1.20 update so I have more space and better sound quality.

Desperate for Palm OS 5 ROM resident app. While trying to get VersaMail to work, I deleted a Send application from ROM, now my Bluetooth is all buggered up. After an excessively long search for other bluetooth devices, it fails to see my BT visible phone, instead of quickly finding it, as it used to do in the past. My intent was to fully uninstall then reinstall to VersaMail but it still failed to install. So with JackFlash, I went looking for more VersMail CRAP. When I saw ‘Send*.prc’ something or other, I figured it was for sending attachments, so I trashed it, WRONG, turns out, it was for sending stuff with BlueTooth. What a TOTAL HEADACHE. GEEZ I hope get a response, ain’t been too lucky in the past though. I have all kinds of decent apps to share, including OS5 ROM (JackSprat backup) for a Tungsten T3. Which I hope I won’t have to use as an absolute resort, cause over the years I’ve tweaked this PDA to rock.

On my treo 650 with a cooked rom with fat 32, i have two 4gb cards. One is a transcend 150x which is very slow while writing, I now use it has a second hard disc on my Laptop. Now in my Palm I'm using a 4gb Lacor profissional, this one is much faster then the transcend. I have noticed that de SDHD don't work with me. I use the normal 4gb SD. Hope this helps a bit.

This may help you...I never tried the 4gb card on the 650 only used the 1 GB when I used the phone. Here are some links for what you maybe looking for. The first one is from treocentral about sd cards and the 650.....tons of info there. The second link is for shadowmites hack to get the 4 GB card working properly in the 650. Try this

If it is your first time installing the game:

1) Install War.prc but DO NOT RUN IT!
2) Use MUH or HSNswitch to set War to use "IamAJD" as the HotSync Name
3) Run War and register with 1795639781
4) War will no longer need MUH or HSNswitch to run! You can disable MUH at this point because the serial and HSID are coded in Wars 1000 in "Unsaved Preferences"


If you have previously installed the game and it didn't work for you:

1) If you've ever run Azeroth War previously, delete "Wars 1000" in Unsaved Preference (you can do this with FileZ, RescoExplorer, RsrcEdit, BIRD).

:) Thanks blizzy. Yes I also use safeguard and I would have to admit it is one of the best programs out. After setup it does EVERYTHING automatically, its great. Even when my treo reset it detected it and ran all the tools to find out what app did it and exactly why it crashed. I forgot to mention that it could be your card reader in your pc. I'm not sure but I read that the 1 GB cards are considered regular SD cards but the bigger ones ie. 2,4,6 GB cards are considered SDHC HC-high compacity. If your card reader is older it may not support that type of card. You will either need to buy a new card reader or you can try to just stick the card in your palm and use CARDREADER so see it on the PC. Thats what I use to makes things easy when I am using USBMODEM and download a file then if I put it on my card and use UniCMD to install it. I don't know if you have cardreader but here it is. Hope this sheds a little bit of light on your situtation.

OK the very last idea is go to your local bestbuy or electronic store that has laptops out and running :) casually slide over to one and quickly slide your card in the cardreader. And format it real fast pick the laptop with the fastest processor..LOL. It really should work as long as they don't give you grief...Good luck.

Try a safe reset, reset and with the 5nav pressed up and see if the screen works, if it works then its a app. If not it can still be something with your rom. Make a backup like with NVbackup which is good and free and hard reset and check if the screen works. Then you can restore everything again. If all fails I'm sorry but your screen is bad.

Some apps which are still in beta are slower because they have the debug on, but I got this app off of the site and its not the beta one (the beta is 4.70). Has anyone seen this file?

I don't know nothing about electronics. But you can use Safe Guard and see the apps that are running in the background (the ones with a running man, you can sort them out) and quartine them all and see if the screen works and then you can turn them on one by one.

Ok, forget about the keygen you are using. unistall it and use the gx5 keygen attached. install keygen to your palm. run keygen and press generate. you should see a 5 digit serial number for your product. if it is only a four digit number, just add a zero in front of the numbers to make it five digits. write that down. now install ultimate phone and input your 5 digit serial to register. hope this helps.

Hey, I figured you guys can use these sites for your enjoyment. This one is for Sprint only phones.....on the Treo you have to use OPERA to view it. I haven't tried any other app besides blazer and opera (blazer doesn't work with this site) so I don't know if Universe or any other will work. Enjoy http://free.laursifer.com/

The app simply replaces the standard Treo or Centro keyguard, with a nicer looking transparent slip screen showing the time and system vitals. When you click the center button to dismiss the keyguard, it does a graceful slide away animation. I have to sys it's a nice looking little utility and also shows some additional info such as battery level, free memory and whether or not your silencer is activated. You can also dismiss the keyguard by clicking on the window with a finger. You can catch a short video clip of it in action after the break.

The as of yet unnamed app was created by Henk for the recent German Palm User Meeting sponsored by Nexave. It is available as a free download with a GPL open source license. The source code is available for prc-tools. It should work on all high resolution Treo's, Tungsten's and I successfully tested it on a Sprint Centro as well.

Also, the latest version of Butler (4.71) added an option to the keyguard to make it similar to the iPhone. At the bottom of the screen, it gives you a button to drag across the screen. Just another alternative!

I did this this way cause one day I was streaming radio with pockettunes, I had Verichat on, Versamail geting mail, and me surfing with blazer. I had noticed that the back of my six fifty was a bit heater than usually but then I got a crash. If you notice that back of your phone getting a bit hotter than normal don't tune it up so much for some long using apps, just the ones that you go through them fast. You you also downclock to save battery.

I do have a bug, with my Lacor card now I get the Palm OS Card bug that doesn't start up on reset and for that i use "card keeper", safeguard also fixes this too. With my slow Transcend Card I didn't have this problem. Oh by the way Transcend is just slow in the PAlm OS but if I use Card Reader or use the card in my Laptop which I do, its fast. Most be the 150x speed that Transcend promises but it may use some weird feature.

The patch is good because if you don't like it you just have to hard reset. Of cause you should Nvbackup before the patch this way you can hard reset and start from where you were.

Read the file inside, this rom has two languages, english and deutch, no tututial, fat32, blazer 4.3.

Be advised that this Blazer came from a Lifedrive and it had a bug, it doesn't allow downloads, its faster then the normal Blazer on 650 because it has fastmode. You can download other ways, Xiino, sharkdownload, etc... It would be great to have the Centro Blazer.

Yup, that could be the problem with your 650 not reading the card. I remember seeing a post saying to do the extended format and not the fastone sorry I forgot to tell you. Let me boot up my PC (its very slow) and dig around in my bookmarks. I have the treocentral thread saved, on how to format the card and make it faster. The PC still won't see the card cuz its still a SDHC card even after the format...sorry to say. You will have to buy a new card reader. I don't know how far with your custom rom but you need to add the SDHC hack into the new ROM for 650 to see the card....then you won't need a new card reader. As long as the treo can see it..... using the cardreader app it will pop up on the computer. I'll get back with the bookmarks.

Try this, using your PC, rather than your Treo.

You will need a separate card reader or the Card Reader software, which you can get here in the MTDN dowloads. Incidentally, I highly recommend the Card Reader software installed in your Treo, because it enables you to always leave the card in your Treo, but your PC will recognize the SD card in your Treo as a separate drive.

On your PC, these are the steps:

Go to "Control Panel" then select "Computer Management."

Under "Storage", select "Disk Management" and when that reads and pops up, select the volume attributable to your card (on my PC, it's "N:" because I have a whole bunch of USB removable drives, but it may be a different letter on your PC), then right click.

Select "Format" after you right click, then select FAT32 under "File system" and 32K under "Allocation unit size".

Make sure you check the box for "Perform a quick format" because I've heard that for some reason data corrupts on the card if you don't.

Then click OK and you're good to go.

It should take only a few seconds, certainly not more than a minute, to format. If it takes more than a few minutes, then you probably have a defective card.

Well, from what I have seen and done (trial and error) Lightspeed is not powerful enough to brick your Palm. On the other hand PxaClocker WILL, if you have no idea what you are doing you can brick your Palm with PXA. Word of advice BE CAREFUL if you have no clue.

Libs almost ready
So.... It has been a month since my last post. I hadn't intended on that long of a delay. Unfortunatly this quarter's work load was very unexpected. I took 3 4 unit classes hoping for a nice break to have free time. Little did I know that two of my classes had a ton of work and would turn out being hell taken concurrently, so I have not really had time for anything, not even school. In about 5 hours I have the final for the one that will have the worse outcome.

I was in the process of getting everything (libc, freetype, libcurl, and a couple of my own libraries) ported and setup under gcc. Unfortunatly and fortunately the fact that they are ARM and need the NetLib required me to make a last minute change to CodeWarrior (this took some work). Dmitry Grinberg set me up with a little static library that will get the NetLib calls working nicely. I am hoping no more magic like that will be needed. The biggest mess was actually the assembly crap. Don't get me started on things like "standards" and the way compilers do things their own way.

At this point I am doing some testing of libcurl. It seems to have a few bugs (I am hoping that they are just bugs in a few things in libc that I may have rushed).

Once that is ready then I am home free to mess around with the WebKit source code. :) I'll mess with ICU and OpenSSL after I at least have the basics in. Hopefully FreeType won't be too much of a mess (I did drag it from a CodeWarrior project to gcc, so going back to CodeWarrior should not be too hard, right?).

Thanks to those that are still hanging in. I am definitely looking forward to having something ready. Maybe I can surprise us all before the summer (not a promise, but that is my goal). :)

did you download the Gx5 keygen posted here. that's the only reliable keygen for ultimate phone. use this link and look for the Gx5 kg

i did that...it said i had like 3220109 days left for the trial, but my date and time was wrong so i did a reboot and then it went back to 14 day trial mode...

cant someone just give me the serial?

It's no working patch... I'm using salling clicker (I just wish to try libertycontrol) and it's very nice app, and yes you can define your own scripts and you can find scripts on internet... I foun for the winamp for now, and it have some good script like use palm screen to be mouse pointer on your pc ;)

I just tried out Lightspeed 3 at 520 Mhz and I tested out with Speedy 6.4 and it gives me 395 Mhz. With Pxa Clocker I get better results, at 506 Mhz I get with Speedy, 423 Mhz. Has anyone tested this also?

I guess Pxa Clocker is faster.

I'm using a Treo 650

Well, from what I have seen and done (trial and error) Lightspeed is not powerful enough to brick your Palm. On the other hand PxaClocker WILL, if you have no idea what you are doing you can brick your Palm with PXA. Word of advice BE CAREFUL if you have no clue.

My tungsten c is working on 400Mhz, I'm oveclocking it on 530 Mhz, is still working but I hear some strange sound (something like ultra fast wizz :D ) and I'm return previously 400Mhz and nothing is happend :)

Actually i just tested the keygen and ultimate phone on three different devices and they all worked flawlessly. care to go through step by step with your installation with me. maybe it's something that your doing wrong.
