No, you should still have the latest version. The smartlib's are all the same for all the programs from Skyscape. I believe the libs allow all their software to interlink with each other and are also used for registration verification of each program. I don't believe they have anything to do with the actual information contained within a version.

Hello eon and all skyscape enthusiasts. This is what I did to get over the new files and conflict with the old keygen. I considered all the advise given after my request on this forum. The results were not quite perfect. So before installing a latter Skyscape file, I buckup all files on my treo650 using MegaLauncher. I then installed the new package without any modification. After installing the new package all my skyscape files were unregistered and I could not register with the keygen. Now I restore back all my treo file with the backup I made just before the installation. All my earlier skyscape started working again, with the exception of the package I installed after the buckup. I then registered the new package with the keygen. It was accepted without problem. I hope this is clear. Otherwise anyone interested can PM me. (so until a new KG, we may have to do with this)

I've already put 2-3 scratches on it..*sigh*...and it provides no protection whatsoever. If I had the money to start a business, I'd make hard-covers with the same designs. I got the one called "WAR"..looks awesome...as long as I stand 5 feet back to look at it...

Those grip ones cool..not pretty necessarily...but to keep the bastard from slipping all over the place has GOT to be sweet!

to sync time you can also use NVBackup, it also backs up your data and can make a reset to have a clean day start and also syncs your time, all in one app and its free

ALso wanted to report that Lightnzip that I got from here wouldn't work. It errored out something about "CRC Zlib" not found or something. Handzipper works fine just doesn't work on SD cards.

You can set the side button to Takephone (use the beta version) which has a clock addon which is very big and you can put a windows mobile 6.1 type skin. You can also put the side button to Palmary Clock which has beautiful clocks.

If you search in this thead on top you will find Core player 1.2.3 cracked, install this one and install 1.2.4 on top of it and it will work. You can find coreplayer 1.2.4 also here but not cracked.

Attached is a keygen for My Roots v4.05 and a patched version of same.

For the patched version, just install the patched prc and the pdb file and use.

For the keygen, intsall the keygen and the pdb file and run program on palm or simulator. Serial will be displayed. Write it down and delete keygen. Install unpatched app and register.

With most keygens, you have to "fake" register it (basically any combo of 5 digits). After that your REAL registeration will pop up. Write that code down....then your device will reset automatically. Delete the Keygen prc and install the real app either from the company/website.... http://www.launcherx.com/products/LauncherX/ Put the code that you wrote down in to register the REAL Launcherx app. That should work, I personally don't use launcherx so I'm not too sure what type of KG it is. The other kind of keygen has a drop down list that you should be able pick the app name. Then hit the generate button, it will generate several codes....write them down....install the app from launcherx.com and put the codes in 1 by 1. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the link. I went to Unbound and download the trial version and install then install crack file. It ask to register when I put in the numbers it goes on line to register. not accepting the numbers as code. I do not know if I am using the wrong procedure.

Thanks for the link. I went to Unbound and download the trial version and install then install crack file. It ask to register when I put in the numbers it goes on line to register. not accepting the numbers as code. I do not know if I am using the wrong procedure.

I have heard that the updated patch for build 11364 is a little bit buggy. It may or may not work properly on your device. use at own risk........

I haven't played around with my GF's centro yet but hers didn't come with MobiTv on the phone you had to get it off the Sprint CD. Is that how you got it or did it come pre-installed.....

Try installing MobiTV installer onto a SD card in the Centro and then installing from the SD on to the Centro by using the MobiTv installer app (download from the MobiTv website and click the "just try" link) then run MobiTv app. Finally install the MobiTv patch and enjoy. Worked on my Centro. Good Luck.

Its easy, first from zlauncher zip file, you should install jpeglib file (you may have it already, just use filez or zlauncher file manager and jump to 'J' and check if you have the file or just copy it over again), just copy it to your main memory. Now your set use JPEGS as wallpapers.

Download any jpeg wallpaper. If your using any Palm Phone (treo or centro) its 320x320 resolution. If its a Lifedrive or TX its better to use 320x480.

Than copy the jpeg to your card into this folder path: \palm\programs\zlauncher\backimage

Ok now goto zlauncher and menu key 'm' or menu and Theme manager, goto back image tab and select the new jpeg you just copied to your card and select again and your tabs popup and select a tab (or 'all' which is at the bottom of the list). Press OK and your done.

Iconsets are the same, copy here: \palm\programs\zlauncher\IconSet

Now icon sets have two ways on using, or you use it has your main iconset or use some of the icons with your own. I prefer the second mode, I use a default icon set which is a IPhone icon set (to select a icon set has your default, just do the same as if it was a back image but in the theme manager select the icon set tab on top, the rest is the same).

The second way is go to the apps you want to change its icon press down until a menu popups up, select info, press the icon image on the top left and select. It will show your default icon set but on top is a combo box with all of the icons sets you have install in the folder (I have 7) that i describe on top. Just select the icon and it will be added at the end of your default icon set and will be added to the app you selected. Creating your own icon set.

I like the second method because most icon sets are trying to define a set of apps, but like most of us, we have lots and lots of apps and that icon set will not have does apps and the this icon set will just appear on the main apps.

hey guys, just got word about the new tomtom, and i have the file plus UK map, so i have uploaded it here!!!

Overview :

STEP-1: unpack files

*bt.sisx
*GPSd.jar
*tomtom.sisx
*0.Copy.To.MEMCARD.Root.rar (you have to unpack this file also..the u will have TOMTOM folder..)

STEP-2: before start if u have tomtom installed on your phone, uninstall it...!!!!
and delete TOMTOM folder from memory-card also (for who had errors like, "tomtom is not starting, only globe pic spinning / connecting to bluetooth device and keeps waiting...and then not connecting")

STEP-3: make a folder like TOMTOM-PATCH on your phone's memory-card, and copy these files in it..

STEP-4: copy TOMTOM folder (what you had unpacked and came from 0.Copy.To.MEMCARD.Root.rar file) to root of your memory-card of ur phone..

STEP:5 now unplug ur memory-card or ur phone from computer, and open any file-browser in your phone, go to folder TOMTOM-PATCH

STEP-6: Install 1.bt.sisx, 2.GPSd.jar Install 3.tomtom.sisx

STEP-7: Run "bt" from the applications menu (once is enough, it will add a virtual bluetooth device) (this can be uninstalled later if u need) and no need to run everytime before u open tomtom!!

STEP-8: Run "GPSd" from the applications menu (open this everytime before you open tomtom)
(GPSd app will ask some connections, you have to say yes to all, otherwise it wont connect int-GPS with tomtom.. saying yes to "allow application GPSd to use network and send or recieve data.. " it will connect internet (by GPRS) to get satellite list for A-GPS (Assisted GPS) (if it needs to) this happens if u didnt use int-gps long time or for faster gps connection type..
SO....ofcourse it will cost (and there is no way to make it use W-LAN), but its a very small data.)



STEP-9: Run TomTom from the applications menu and

Configure TomTom:

1) Set preferences (such as distance/time format)
2) Choose "Other GPS Device" from the GPS setup menu
3) Allow TomTom to turn on Bluetooth
4) Choose "BiNPDA GPS" from the bluetooth device list

then wait for connection...

DONE!

* You need to change the preferences every time you start tomtom. It won't
remember that you were using the internal GPS*

* If you need to switch from internal, to an "external" receiver, you may need
to click on "tomtom receiver", and then "other receiver" to get the list of devices again.

If you have read Chew's post then you would have downloaded the Go treo keygen from the link he provided. the link is at the bottom. keygen is straight forward. install keygen to your device run it and press generate. remember keygen is GoTreo KG. If you have any problems feel free to ask.

Ok try reinstalling the MobiTV installer adn start the app. but do not fill anything out. then exit mobitv and install mobitv patch. mobitv installer should install the library. I just did it over again on my other treo. So I know it works.

Have you tried uninstalling MobiTV with a program like NorthGlide Systems' Uninstall Manager (http://www.northglide.com/um.html)? Don't know if that would do it, but it might be worth a shot. Good luck. :)

I installed MobiTV on my sister's centro and put in an email address and password. then installed the patch and it worked. So i don't know exactly what your doing wrong. it should still work.

This works on my sister's centro. Its patched to remove the nag screens. it acts like full version. dont need to register.

There is another way you can do this with Uninstall Manager it has manual recorder. Turn it on and instal mobitv than after installing and running one time, stop the recording and unstall with the recording.

If this doesn't work try looking at your pref file, use filez (view preferences) and look at the last entries. Oh make a backup, or copy the file to your card or make a nvbackup.

Also use a file manager to list by created date and see what was installed lately, there maybe a file left over by mobitv. Again don't delete, make a move of the file to the card so this way if you want the file again just move it back again to main memory. I use File manager of zlauncher its the only one that lists well by created date, the other file managers miss on this.

Yeah, I'd say try these steps (although I'm totally guessing, so cross your fingers ;))
1. Copy the installer program onto your phone (MobiTVINSTALLER.prc)
2. Run the installer from the phone
3. Copy the patched file to the phone (MobiTV.patched.PRC)
4. Run MobiTV to make sure everything got installed
5. Run Uninstall Manager
6. Uninstall MobiTV using the Uninstall Manager interface

i was loading mobitv from card so i transfered to the phone mobitv installer

With most keygens, you have to "fake" register it (basically any combo of 5 digits). After that your REAL registeration will pop up. Write that code down....then your device will reset automatically. Delete the Keygen prc and install the real app either from the company/website.... http://www.launcherx.com/products/LauncherX/ Put the code that you wrote down in to register the REAL Launcherx app. That should work, I personally don't use launcherx so I'm not too sure what type of KG it is. The other kind of keygen has a drop down list that you should be able pick the app name. Then hit the generate button, it will generate several codes....write them down....install the app from launcherx.com and put the codes in 1 by 1. Hope this helps...

What's up guys? Wow..i have missed a ton. I was traveling the past few weeks and was sadly unable to keep up to date with the forum.

I have been using ChatterEmail per the recommendation of the good people on here..and I LOVE IT. It allows you to scroll email just like on the blackberry with the side buttons and the gmail being pushed (instead of pulled like my other 2 accounts) makes it GREAT.

Treo has been running well -- but the battery dies quickly. Not sure if it's the Ultimate Phone or Mega Launcher or my email - but it's worth it.

And specifically - I tried agendus mail and snapper but then settled on ChatterEmail. YOu will not be disappointed.

well those worked on the first try:). i think that having a complex hotsync id may make it more diffucult to reg certain apps. another noob lesson learned. ill make sure next time i choose a simpler hotsync id...

Interesting, for the future reference of other Centro users who want to use the LauncherX keygen, the "System Incompatible" message I was getting was accompanied by "30511"... which turned out to be the registration code I needed. Your number will probably be different.

I read somewhere that the Centro (Treo's little brother I guess) had battery problems too where it would drain in a matter of hours. They later found out that it was Sprint's email app that was causing the device to continuously sync. Perhaps that might lead you in the right direction?

Hey guys! Once again I find myself being a cheapskate and needing a program. I am converting my Lifedrive to a Lifeflash and need PowerDrive (15 bucks is a lot for me.) I don't just need it for making the swap, I also need it for adjusting some partition settings because I have a lot of programs and do a lot of emulation on my Lifedrive, and find that 64mb is simply not enough dynamic memory. I'll have to contribute something soon to pay back all that I already owe you guys for your help.

I just want to say thanks to everyone here. I hope this helps, this is what works for me for some problems Ive had.

For those that want to boost their wifi, try installing a antenna booster inside your palm. Also you can put one on your wireless router antenna. I use to not be able to get any wifi service for my laptop or palm in my room, but now it works perfect. You can purchase many antenna boosters them on ebay for dirt cheap(get generation x).

For those who have issues with the Palm TX screen that sometimes when you try clicking on apart of the screen, it rather responds on the edges of the tx.
I fixed mine by
1.Unscrewed the back of the palm tx 2. took apart the tx gently so that you can have the screen unmounted from the plastic cover.3. Now around the screen you should see some grey shielding, cover only the grey sheilding with one or 2 layer of electrical tape. Put it back together and your done! It worked for me.

Its the internet connection of chattermail or any other internet app that consumes your battery. And its not 3g or would even be worst. The blackberry don't have this prob because the phone doesn't have to worry if you have new mail, it uses the nod (blackberry server) thats sends it to you much like a SMS.

With chattermail and other pop and imap servers you have to check if it has new mail and thats why it uses more battery, its your device that is doing the work.

If you could use a exchange mail push server things would be much better. I never tried using one with chattermail or any other app but maybe it can be done, but you still have to have a exchange server doing push mail.

This is Patched version of Ultralingua 6.1 (pre-registered). Install this to your device, then go to the Ultralingua website http://www.ultralingua.com and download all the dictionaries you need. Only install the dictionary databases to your device not the orignal Ultralingua prc.

It's not because of the complexity of the HSID. The AWID doesn't change any if the letters are capital or small and it completely ignores punctuation...very interesting though
