ok i used the keygen card id 3946 made to text file and remnamed per keygen
i downloaded the 1gb file as image to my sd card garmin folder nothing works need maps please help

This might be a stupid question do i need a gps receiver in the car to work with my tre 755p or it should work without ant receiver.. ???
okthis is what i have done
1. created swl & gmaps in garmin folder as instructed by keygen file save as all in explorere it showing unl file type
2. i have 1gb img file gmapss which i copied into sd/garmin folder with the other 2 files from keygen
When i start garming no maps found and nothing works so were am i going wrong ???
update it says unlock ESN 3946 version 4.10.30p
does that mean it is unlock ?? so why is my maps not showing and i want to test to see if this works.

Use keygen through command prompt. Same way as the bike or die keygen, which by the way was made by Phoenix also.

I tried this KG but I think I don't know how to use it.
I opened it and it says: "Enter Device Specific Code"
I entered mine (including the space) and then I pressed Enter...and it just closes.
What am I doing wrong?:confused:

You have to open up the command prompt on your pc first (press start then run and type cmd and press ok). then copy and paste or drag and drop the keygen in the command prompt window. Now you can use the keygen.

that means it's unlocked. but you may have the wrong image in the card or the image is not in the right place in the card. Image should be in the garmin folder of card. did you use the map source to create your image?.....that's the only way i got mine to show up.

i tried to delete cookies and temp file and even restarted puter but no luck.

Well, you need to drag the screen with your stlus till you see the map. Skil down the radius. To make it easier, you can download world base map and install at the garmin folder in sd card. From the base map, you find the country you want to navigate.

For rough navigation, you don't need gps. Just choose from place to place, it will show you the route.

They aren't the best since people around the world are using them as well, but you will get lucky and be able to bypass the sensor.
All though it is better to actually shell out the money for a 3 month account and start grabbing ISO's

Use Winzip to extract GMAPBMAP.IMG from the above file. Copy GMAPBMAP.IMG directly to a folder in the storage card of your PDA, created from root directory and named as Garmin (SD:\Garmin\GMAPBMAP.IMG)
Use a card reader to transfer this file.
Besides make sure the files that you install in the sd card is *.img. If not you need to use map source to transfer the files into your treo as what Kingtyce mentioned.

Here is Koolsounds v1.6 patched. register with any number/letter.
It still says it's version 1.5 in the about screen. I guess it's a typo because it says 1.5 in the demo version also.

guys i do not know about the rest but for mvoice I tired what you provide to me which is 8FA471FD code and did not work, but when i tired this B717BFC6. YES YES YES is work. your where right i was doing some wrong. I should have done this activation code: enter aaaaa then click NEXT enter your unlocking key for mvoice B717BFC6. Instated I was imputing B717BFC6 as an activation code. I can’t believe I was careless about the simplest thing, maybe I should have not lose my

I installed it and activated it.
When I go to set it up I use my gmail Mail Client (I don't even know what that means)
After I set it up I go to "menu" Then I click on "refresh"
It then tells me to "please wait" and it starts "getting message 1/177" "analyzing" the messages and it says it's getting 1/177
when it gets to 2/177... it resets my phone. Do you have this problem???
Can I use chatter mail with this App???
If I click on "use default email client" under mail account settings...
it then tells me:

I had my Gmail address set up as IMAP on chatter.
So then I switched it to a Gmail POP3 (same user name)
and then I went into Mvoicemail and clicked refresh (with the gmail pop3)
and it still reset my phone.

I'm trying to use my 680 w/ Garmin + Holux m1000 ... i followed all the keygen steps and etc, but when Garmin is trying to find a GPS reciever, it doesnt do anything ...

2. Run the file "GarminMobileXTFullImage_4***x"
(It will copy all files to your memory card)

4. Insert card in to PDA
5. Install Garmin XT (should autorun), run Garmin XT
6. Go to settings, About and read cardID, type to notepad or write it down. Take memory card out of phone and reset phone. DO NOT OPEN Mobile XT.
7. On PC run keyGen, Paste CardID
6. Click generate, copy unlock code (DO NOT CLOSE THE KEYGEN)

each unlock code has 25 numbers. Are you putting the 50 number in one line, no spacing and save as GMAPSUPP.UNL? If so, you should be able to unlock the map.

Hello king.I tried to register this with the instructions in the file download.I got my number,reset and entered it then hotsynced and it is still the unregistered version.Question,leave the keygen or delete it from the dvice before registration?Instructions don't say.Please help!!
Next,I have searched and found nothing on the problems I am having with pictureID on my centro.I can get it registered but it will not work like it is supposed to.It will not display caller's picture when they call,just get the standard centro picture associated with caller.Please help with this also.It would be great to see a better picture of caller.Thanx

I know this is frus. Previously it takes me 4 days to figure out and asking KIngtyce for help as well. When i manage to get the prog run smoothly, it takes me some times also to familiar with it because i don't have gps. May be you can try tomtom because it is more user friendly and easy to use

each unlock code has 25 numbers. Are you putting the 50 number in one line, no spacing and save as GMAPSUPP.UNL? If so, you should be able to unlock the map.

My treo 680 wont sync with my computer... during syncing it keeps saying failed.. so then i redownloaded the syn from the first page of this thread and then when i click the sync button on the cable it doesnt connect to the desktop... any help would be appreciated thank you.

Using it i can totaly automate my Treo 680 without touching it - i've set it to quiet mode whenever i'm in the office and when i'm home in the evening it's on the loud mode without me touching it. here's the full instruction on what to do for north america maps to be activated ... "******* means does not apply to if you want the entire North America 2009 Maps"
1. Use a card reader to connect your memory card to your PC, or connect phone using USB transfer mode
2. Run the file "GarminMobileXTFullImage_4***x"
(It will copy all files to your memory card)
3. Run the Update "GarminMobileXTforPalmOSwithGPS10x_41030p" (It will copy all your files to your memory card)
4. Insert card in to PDA
5. Install Garmin XT (should autorun), run Garmin XT
6. Go to settings, About and read cardID, type to notepad or write it down. Take memory card out of phone and reset phone. DO NOT OPEN Mobile XT.
7. On PC run keyGen, Paste CardID
6. Click generate, copy unlock code (DO NOT CLOSE THE KEYGEN)
7. Open notepad and create a file called "SW.UNL" and paste the unlock code in that file and save it somewhere (remember where you put it)
8. DO NOT CLOSE KEYGEN
8. Select City Navigator North America NT 2008 and click lower Generate
9. Open notepad and create a file called "GMAPSUPP.UNL" and paste the unlock code from "your map unlock code" in that file and save it somewhere (remember where you put it) and keep it open.(if there is some other code inside, continue without spaces within same line. In other words everything you paste in this file will be one continuous line)

I am new to all this but what i have found in last 3 weeks is load everything to SD card and run it from there some apps wont run so you have to transfer specific file to rom..
This is my opnion may be there are others will prefer different way...

I had my Gmail address set up as IMAP on chatter.
So then I switched it to a Gmail POP3 (same user name)
and then I went into Mvoicemail and clicked refresh (with the gmail pop3)
and it still reset my phone.

Lol. I understand where you coming from because I had the same problem. Were it kept on resting my Palm Treo 680. I didn’t the opportunity to find out the cause of this problem because again it kept on continuously resting my phone. Hence to the point were I was aggravated and decide to remove the app. After I restored my phone it went back to its original setting and no further problems. Maybe the reason for constant resting was because it tried to continuously check for any voicemails. Anyway there is another similar app, hope this helps. How are you accessing this site. Is it through your palm?
If so that may be the problem rar files aren't handled properly on these devices.....
If your on your PC then do a right click and open a new tab that may work.
If you know the files you are trying to download on your palm are zip files download the php file and use resco, unicmd or any other app like those to open the file and install the files. Just rename the file to what it actually is on the card and you will always have it....

Update i think i am almost there i created my maps from mapsoure and transfered sucessfully onto my sd card that what it said i seleceted 4 maps. i went to map sets it was there now i jut can't see the maps ???

I followed those intrsuctions and used every single file i've linked and provided .... it takes time to figure this all out. IF IT SAYS NO MAP, try pushing down on your 5 way Navigator button to zoom in. it's a sneaky thing they did ... the map should be all there. Look at the top left corner, if it says "DRAWING" there is a map there ... your zoom is too far.
Can anyone give me the latest version of takephone?

no problem all i know i have map created fom map source i tried installing the 1.6gb grmapps.img from the torrent site you posted and no luck so i tried creating the maps in map source and still no luck
under about it sauy unlock esn 3946 so that means garmin on the phone is unlock i created the gmapps.unl same way i created sw.unl.
oh well i bet it something very simple and easy i am missing but to figure that out is like looking for a needle in a haystack lol

hi guys.
i need your help. i followed the tutorial steps in http://techst02.technion.ac.il/~saty/Palm_tut.htm. so far, i have managed to disassemble the prc program using palmdemon, find the codes that needed to be changed and then changed this using notepad since i cannot edit using palmdemon and also the tools > compile modified prc in palmdemon is greyed out.
my question is, how to i compile or "assemble" it back to being a prc?

I have downloaded the map through the link that you gave me. No able to unlock the map. The map is locked. By using ultraedit, manage to work out the map id is 4356. However still not able to unlock the map. Too bad.
Using jet mouse V1.5 by choosing City Navigator North America NT 2009 also not able to unlock the map.

I think the map id is your problem. Use any keygen and when selecting map choose custom mapset. do not choose city navigator north america nt 2008. Next input 244 for map id. now put that serial you generate in your GMAPSUPP.UNL. See if that helps. Also make sure you have the correct Card ID in when using the keygen.

Thanks i use 244 custom maps and copied the gmappsupp.unl file to sd/garmin replace the old one still the same...
detail maps are required to use this features... when i got in manage datsets i see customs map i created from map source and transfered successfully.

How are you accessing this site. Is it through your palm?
If so that may be the problem rar files aren't handled properly on these devices.....
If your on your PC then do a right click and open a new tab that may work.
If you know the files you are trying to download on your palm are zip files download the php file and use resco, unicmd or any other app like those to open the file and install the files. Just rename the file to what it actually is on the card and you will always have it....

After you active the maps you want, do you keep "gmapprom.rgn" in the Garmin folder?
What I did, I took out the freebase map and gmapprom.rgn once I got everything working with sw.unl and gmappsupp.unl. (I wanted the entire NA Map unlocked) I placed the Garmin 2009 map NA image in the Garmin folder.
Everything runs, but it's so slow ... is this the reason why? b/c i deleted freebase and gmapprom from my Garmin folder?
Gonna try and see if NA 2009 map image and "gmapprom.rgn" file left will make things run smooth. But, that's a lot of space .... 1.06GB + 1.7GB :(:(:(
BTW what's the code for ONTARIO - CANADA and NEW YORK STATE? Maybe the another reason why my Garmin is running so slow, MY 2009 NA map is so huge.

you might want to check which driver you are using... I'm on 42020... I know I had problems with 42030 (resetting my clock and what not) and heard 42040 had issues to.. just a thought...
Hmm well I just wanted to post a follow up not sure if this will help since I haven't tried on the streets yet. I went into the settings and by default Garmin had selected "Use GPD Intermediate Driver" which worked for me but again I saw a lag while driving around and frequent redrawing of where I was relative to the map.
So now I just went back to the settings and hit "disable" which then brought up a list "Use Bluetooth GPS" "Use GPD Intermediate Driver" and "Use Serial GPS". I then selected "Use Serial GPS" and selected COM4:COM4. I had to do this a couple of times the software would scan but not let me keep COM4 but after a few tries it found COM4. I don't know if this will make everything faster but I will keep everyone posted.
I'm downloading "Garmin Mapsource City Navigator North America NT 2009 Update" from this torrent .... gonna see if it makes a diff for the maps I want, instead of the entire NA map.

Hi, I am new to this forum. Been lurking, but I've only posted once. I have a Palm Treo 600, and I've been trying to load games onto it, particularly Astraware games--Bejeweled, Bookworm, ... Once they are on the device, I cannot play them. Bejeweled 2 says there is not a game for my device. Bookworm says to use the low res version (which I don't have). I bought the Treo on ebay, so I don't have the tech support locally (small town TX), and I also bought the software on ebay (a copy).
Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I love these two games in particular, and I want to be able to play them away from home.

You can also try lightwav Pro. Its pretty neat and it has some stuff you may really like. Like the full screen pic ID and position the ringer in the exact spot you want on your mp3 ringer

No, there is no game like that for palm os other than the roms for LJP....
Your other option is Duck Hunt which is nowhere near what you described.

War fare Incoporated is probably one of the best rst. Azeroth Wars is another you should check out. If you need azeroth just ask.

After you active the maps you want, do you keep "gmapprom.rgn" in the Garmin folder?
What I did, I took out the freebase map and gmapprom.rgn once I got everything working with sw.unl and gmappsupp.unl. (I wanted the entire NA Map unlocked) I placed the Garmin 2009 map NA image in the Garmin folder.
Everything runs, but it's so slow ... is this the reason why? b/c i deleted freebase and gmapprom from my Garmin folder?
Gonna try and see if NA 2009 map image and "gmapprom.rgn" file left will make things run smooth. But, that's a lot of space .... 1.06GB + 1.7GB :(:(:(
BTW what's the code for ONTARIO - CANADA and NEW YORK STATE? Maybe the another reason why my Garmin is running so slow, MY 2009 NA map is so huge.

The gmaprom has nothing to do with the slow speed. first of all the map is too huge. reduce ithe size in mapsource (only choose needed area). second your gps reciever may not have enough channels. for Garmin to run at a good speed you need a gps reciever with at least 24 channels or more.
For map ID's here is a list with a few maps and their ID's for Garmin. Use with keygen (under custom mapset)

You are correct in that Bejeweled 2 is not compatible with the Treo 600. I would suggest that you download Bejeweled v2.52, which is compatible with your device, from Astraware's web site:

You can download Bookworm v1.15 also from Astraware's web site:

If your having problems give your hotsync ID so a serial can be generated for you.

Found out ... anyone who has a Holux M1000 and tries to use Garmin Mobile TX, the reciever will not make the preformance of Garmin run smooth at all. Garmin will be updating the Palm drivers soon, this will allow any 3rd Party Recievers to run flawless.
"Provide additional error checking to detect corrupted NMEA input from third party GPS receivers. " Thats on the WM units, Palm's will have a update coming soon.

Palm Internals is free (I like this one, system alarms and notifications), theres also SafeGuard (the apps with the running man, its the easiest to use) and theres also tealscan (don't like the way it shows it)
Then theres apps to tell which ones should be start on bootup, cleanstart or uncache
And theres resco locker (or tealscan) to lock some essencial ones in dbcache to have stablity and quickness
