I've read about the MUH, trivyt and serial, using username. None of it works for this version.

Dimirty at http://www.palmpowerups.com/news.php was working on it but I think it was never possible because of multiple radios working. Yes Palm is great and better at lots of things but it can only multitask to a point. I don't know if this is true but they always say that multiple radios can't be multitasked by PalmOS, GSM, Bluetooth, WIFI.

You can find Dimitry at 1src.com, if someone knowsm its him.

update: you can always use a wifi from another device like a laptop, with bluetooth on your six fifty connect to a bluetooth device and use its wifi, it like your laptop is your access point. I have never tried this because I have a data connection on my treo but I have found this setting up many times on the net. Just look for "palmos bluetooth internet" or something like that. Sorry, should have been a bit clearer.

I just bought a Venturi Mini Bluetooth car kit. The website says it is compatible with a Treo 680 and a Treo 750.

As it was compatible with the 680, I assumed it would work with my GSM Centro but I can't set up a pairing. I get a 'Failed' error.

I have managed to pair a Nokia phone without any problems so I know the Venturi is working ok.

If the bluetooth software is different, I was hoping to get the 680 softwarr and put on my Centro to see if that works.

Hope that makes sense now.

I've disabled it. I've tried synchronizing again, though it gets halted really long at contacts, i think i have too many.

I have tried deleting contacts but its a slow process, i cant delete a whole lot at one go, do you know of anyway i can do this?

The username requires me to do at least one normal hotsync. So what stands between me and a free tots 'n' togs is just the hotsync. lol.

Just a thought you are using right pass key for pairing ??? all my bluetooth connection ask for passkey ..

Make sure you have the right one.. some are left blank my H700 moto was 0000

laptop was blank so you might want to make sure with manufacture if there is a passkey to connect...

that should work.this is the most stable build as of the moment. the only problem with this build is file transfer. the latest is build 11648 but no one has patched it yet.

Don’t misunderstand me, I really appreciate your help Eon and as for Saj070. It was good effort Eon and good attempt. Hence these is same problem that Saj070 is happing but with a different software. The only thing would work is a Serial Key for Mundu IM. I just have to be patient about this until some come up with a solution. In the meantime here is my appreciation.

Like I said, thoes apps are easy for the developer to cut you out because you go to there servers. This said, doesn't mean there isn't any way around, I just gave up and use the freeware Gizmo 5 which does all I want and also can run on top of any app with acessorizer. Just a thought you are using right pass key for pairing ??? all my bluetooth connection ask for passkey ..

Make sure you have the right one.. some are left blank my H700 moto was 0000

laptop was blank so you might want to make sure with manufacture if there is a passkey to connect...

The venturi has a display that shows the passkey when you start pairing it. It pairs ok with a Nokia E51.
My centro pairs ok with a Motorola T305.

For king here are the way to fully register the Piloc Arabic for Treo 680 but some feature have been disabled i think because using old serial:

Hi phoenix. yes you are right there is no register button in novii menu but if u look at Menu>About NoviiRemote Deluxe u will see "please purchase novii..." and after using tm_novii it changes to " licensed to:'your hotsync id' " which means kg worked and its registered.hope it helped :)

For weather deluxeware. Here is the message from subvert:
The full prc can be downloaded from the site. You then need a 10 digit code to subscribe with. Code is checked over the net connection, and there appears to be a second check when you update weather info.

I can patch the app to remove the 'Declined' message when updating, but the weather info is still not retrieved, and the incorrect reg info message appears.

In summary, I am not convinced this is patchable, but I may be wrong.
The site states :

This makes me wonder if they are sending your username or device serial when your reg code is verified. If you then try to update from another device, it will fail. So, even if we had a valid code, it won't neccessarily work for other devices.

I would like to know for certain what info they are taking from my device when verifying the code, and I don't see this clearly stated anywhere.
And they stated the app would remain free. Well it has, the app is freely available, you just pay for the subscription to update the details.

I am never gonna buy Deluxe Weather. It has a larger footprint than 4cast and although I liked the interface while in beta, it is no better that 4cast and I can use that for nada;)

generate a code from wish keygen attached above. use the serial for CallBlock2, and just add 1151 that will give you your callblock basic edition version 2 regcode. copy that regcode. download callblock basic edition v 2.0 from here: http://software.treocentral.com/product.asp?id=19135. intstall the prc then register using the code generated.

Yep, the media guide is a problem. Their is only 2 things you can do.....1 you can delete the file/app using destaller or uninstall or an app like that. Then reinstall it and hope it works :) 2 you can go back to 4.3 and that should work but you won't have all the features that the 4.4 has. I'm not sure but maybe its possible to install 4.3 and then over write it with 4.4, that way it may work as well but I don't know. I bought my copy because it is was $14 and updates for life are free. Kinoma is one of the hardest apps to get. My suggestion is if none of that works, just buy it. You can find it on sale at mytreo and handango sites like that when they have sales. If it was preinstalled do a warm reset then a soft one and open a streaming site and it will pop up with a splash screen, if you tap that you can get it for $14. Hope this helps!

OK i got it qworking i had to put back my old mini sd card delete everything from there reinsatll everything and it worked wow amazing there must be a simple file left behind from one card to another and was making it crash

Yea I have 2 treo 680's and one with a 4gb and other 1gb both have TCPMP 0.72 I stuck with this because it worked fine and I saw no reason to fool with it. Glad you fixed it.

i downloaded and scanned GX5 keygen from sajs post coz i'm assuming u used that file but it doesn't contain any virus. i even tried the keygen on my own palm rom and card but doesn't experience your problem. this is the first time heared this problem. sorry i can help you on this right now but i'm trying to figure it out. do you have a backup i always backup before i install any new app just incase something goes wrong.

if not shame shame.. i use resco backup works good for me and it is backed up on the sd card...

You say years, you know cards have a life limit of writes, could of been coincidence. Another factor, how did you install the app to your card, was it through comp sd card slot? If so, did you eject, if not and the card slot light was on, you may have corrupted the card. I also never understood the relationship between the two companies but Hobbyist Iniciate is always first with the new features. They have the beta versions also on there site which I never saw from propel. But you may like stable versions which most be from Propel because there last always.
