More useful, it can automatically compact the DBCache memory segment which will help resolve "Out of memory" error messages when trying to run applications like Blazer. Essentially, it does what the PalmOS built-in cache manager didn't do well on it’s own in the earlier versions of the firmware.

I've got Palm TX and as many other users I found that NVFS and DB Cache is piece of junk. It can be just because of implementation in PalmOS. So many people wrote some utilities which can help you keep more free memory in your DB Cache. This is one of them. I've been using OffFlush for a long time, but once I saw a source code and decided to wrote it much better. I know that there is much better way to get free DB Cache, but currently this program only tries to fill DB Cache. This forces PalmOS to sync everything it can to NVFS and when I free it it remains free. I know that there has to be a way to force PalmOS to sync it to NVFS without filling up whole DB Cache, but currently I need to study more to use it.

So this program tries to free DB Cache when anybody tries to turn your Palm off. You can also free it by using button in this aplication.

So has anyone used Audacity DVR Pro, specifically on a Palm TX? I installed it using the keygen provided by eon (credits by discover), and everything seemed to work except that when I try to playback what I just recorded, I don't hear anything (so I am not sure if it the program actually recorded).

Also, I installed LAM (Local Audacity Manager) that came with Audacity Pro but I need a 20 digit keygen different from that to install Audacity Pro. Does anyone know where to get one? I searched for discover but there is no such user (perhaps this is not his complete user name).

ok. here's the keygen. you need a palm simulator for this since it will reset your device.

instructions:

Steps for using Keygen:

if you use the search button above you will find this. the most stable emulator is the one posted by dlyte41. you cam also use MUH (multiuserhack) to change the HSID. i'm attaching it for your convenience.

I've tried all of the ones in the attachments section, and they all have different probs...the 3.6 won't work at all..although it says it's enabled...and the others...well...one works on the phone display but not the splash...one seems to work but then isn't enabled at startup...etc...odd and different probs.

thanks anyway, but the mentioned visualcalc is Professional version, not free version, when first time run VisualCalc pro, there're some strange points, through it starts with a traditiaonal registration interface with activition No. input, it seems as Checking a "Pre-loaded" No, any no chance for you to use the software, it quit at once with wrong No.

that may be a challenge for patchers, so any expert here could help please?

here's the GX5 keygen. use the keys from treo memo (old name of quick memos). if you will get on 4 serial, as always add zero to the front to make it 5 goodluck.

if gx5 keygen wont work. use the treo memo skg which i included also. to use skg:

Install and run TreoMemo.SubVerted.prc, and enter any 5 digit serial.
Two pop-ups appear with valid serials. Both serials may be the same.

so we must flooding up our palm with lots of unwanted icon.. But the problem is most of this default software is built-in and cannot be deleted and crowding the interface..
Lucky for those who use Zlauncher and other launcher as well that enable us to hide this unwanted icon.. Follow this step on Zlauncher:

1.Long tap on the unwanted icon, the popup menu will appear.
2.select info...
3.u will see a checkbox for hide, just check the box and tap save. The icon will disappear from ur menu..
*for other application that not built-in(third party) also can be hid by following step 1 and 2. Select the box next to Attrs: (attributes) check the box for Hidden and tap done then save..

U can view the hidden icon later on ZL preferences under General properties by checking the box of show hidden items option. If u want the icon appear back on ur Zlauncher just follow step 1 and 2 after checking the box of show hidden items in General preference and then uncheck the box of Hide option..

The patch on dbfix allows you to use the application as if it was registered.......you do not have to register the app..... this patched dbfix is fully functional and won't expire even though it says that it is unregistered....

Does Anyone know if the app phone tech. allows you to use there ringtone feature to run with mp3 off of the Sd card and not the ram? I recently tried switching from Ringcare. To many missed calls and problems with that app. If it cant what other ringtone app is there that can play ringtones from card to save memory from ram. Thanks for the help.

What you might want to check is to see if it really was loaded up to your phone through the Install Log either trough the pc or palm. If it was check under the unfiled tab and see if it is in there.

It does not show up, but it is installed........go to your phone preferences (where you see date & time, formats, power, etc.) and scroll down to other and you will see it there....

Ringo Pro is good, but Lightwav has alot more features than any other mp3 ringtone software...... you may also want to try Mring.....

I dont't know why u having so much problem with ringcare i had trouble getting use to it but i love it i have 700mb mp3 songs which i can turn any to my ringtone all on sd card..

tip: you have to leave the phone setting to default or none cause ringcare take over your phone setting for sound. only thing you can change is voulume everything else is none cause ringcare overides it all...

To me, all ringtone apps has it's bugs.....I would say that ringcare is the most stable one out of the bunch........ If you still want to try lightwav just do an advanced search for it...... make sure you choose search post and not search thread.....

Anyone have Skinner that for sure works on the Centro? I've tried all of the ones in the attachments section, and they all have different probs...the 3.6 won't work at all..although it says it's enabled...and the others...well...one works on the phone display but not the splash...one seems to work but then isn't enabled at startup...etc...odd and different probs.

Again I'm suggesting Phone Technician, it is integrated with system ringtone manager.. very stable bcos does not cause conflict with default system.. And yes it support playing tone from SD card..

The installer installs the lightwavfiles and plugins......for extra color fonts and voice files you can choose which one you want and install it manually.....

the voice files will announce your call by saying the name or numbers of the incoming call...... I think they need to be installed on ram....not sure...

Personally, I Palm's HotSync Manager http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/win_desktop.html (there's a link to the Mac version, if necessary, from this page) and change the programs destination to the card instead of ram.
Alternately, if you have a card reader on your computer, you can copy the files directly to the card into the PALM>Launcher folder.
There are other programs out there that will load programs to your card as well, but since I don't use them personally, I'll let kt, eon and the others explain they're methods if you're interested in them.

I explained this a few days ago, zaluncher move to card feature, its moves all the files of the game to your card than when you run it, zlauncher puts the files back to main memory and run. I Have a Treo 650 and I have 100 games on my treo plus much much more apps.

It didn't have any sound. I tried enable in it and disable in it but didn't make the cut. when i put the ringtones on pref it wont save them and when i saved them on the ringcare app well it didnt't work either so... Anybody knows another app that's not ringcare I just want to be able to add multiple ringtones at once and manage them like being able to send them via bluetooth and beam and so on... Do not touch system setting leave at default ringcare will control your phone setting. also u need to go into ringcare option and assign ringtones to each contacts or apply to all..

I had similar problems aat first but after playing with ringcare settings under options it worked flawlessly for me.. do not touch system phone setting only thing you change is the volumen everything else will be none or N/a

That version would be for the PC. I believe the current version for Palm is 2.0.1

Here's a keygen that worked for regging the PC version & from what I understand the regged PC version will give you a code for the Palm. I'm not 100% but you can give it a try if you want.

Let us know how it goes. I'm sure someone has another code if it doesn't work for you.

How to use keygen:


ON WINDOWS XP: press the start button, go to all programs, then go to accessories and choose command prompt( a black box with white writing).... now locate your keygen on your pc..... right click over the keygen and choose copy.....now go to the command prompt box and paste the keygen in it and press enter.....you will then be prompt to put in your Hotsync ID......after you put your in HSID press enter......you should now see your registration key........

I don't know any app for that but you can make a empty tab in zlauncher and make its background white. So when you launch zlauncher just press the 5-nav to left or right to the tab you want. You can make it the last tab this way pressing the 5-nav left will show a white screen.

Question. I am currently loading my card with a bunch of games. I am trying to figure out how do i Get seperate files to work with the game's (prc) files. For example i loaded duck hunt. Duck hunt has two files one is the game and the other is the music. All i did was put both in my card in the launcher folder. But i dont get music. Same with warfare inc. I cant figure out how to work with seperate files for the same game.

Can i get some help. Please. Thanks

I have the same problem. I am not sure how I solved it (I think I used some software called Express Mirror) to import from Palm Desktop to MS Outlook. Now I only use MS Outlook and sync with Chapura. Just my two cents ....

I also have the same problem sometimes.......the correct way is to put all files in the launcher folder on the card......but it does not always work....when that happens I just install whatever file that is not being registered by the phone to the ram of the phone.......That's the only way I know

This is a simple solution:
1.Install all files related to the game to ur device not ur SD first..
2.Be sure to use Zlauncher! At a menu screen hold the tap on the desired game icon that need to be transfer to SD card.
3.Select move to card but be sure to use Zlauncher default that the file will be in Zlauncher directory under PALM/Programs/ZLauncher.. not PALM/Launcher as ussual..

i installed each file for Virtual Pool Mobile seperatly on phone (part 1 and 2) and opened them up and i get an error message.
It says VPM must be installed to an SD Card, internal flash, or disk drive.
Installation to main memory is not supported.
