Hey guys, someone made a special request for this VoIP program. I am PRETTY SURE that I've got it working however, I have no way to tell for sure. I can tell you that it runs without error, but I dont have a way to test for the 45 second limit. I am including two tests. The first program (Articulation.patched.test1.prc) is the one I am most confident about. The second program (Articulation.patched.test2.prc) I have quite a bit of doubt about. Could someone test these both and report back which, if either, work?

Busker v.1.37e - install patched, register with any serial, install original - registration should remain intact :D (perhaps it works also with updates)

I used to use Busker, and only for a minute when I realized it didn't have AUTO OFF SCREEN. This is the most rediculous thing they could have done. The Treo gets so hot & having a dead battery is not something I want.

Right now its Kinoma cause it won't skip, and PTunes skips like crap on the 700. No equalizer on Kinoma I can find either. Album art on Kinoma, none on Ptunes.

My next try is Aeroplayer 5.5 I'm hoping something out there works right. And supposedly their Equalizer is better then the competitions

It seems as if this keygen uses command prompt (cmd.exe). Call cmd, navigate to folder with keygen and type: tm_pdamill.exe <prc file> (without <>). But I haven't tried it yet.

You probably can't upgrade over a patched version; install an unpatched version and use the keygen to register it, then it'll take the updates.

Install the UNPATCHED app, register with 320 followed by 9 digits of your choice (say 456789012), press OK, then exit the app. Now install the patched app and run it: a popup will tell you a 6 digit number (for example 123456. If you see only 5 digits, add a 0 [zero] before) and then the system will reset. Your serial will be 320 followed by this number followed by 3 digits of your choiche. In the example above, the serial can be 320123456789, 320123456111, 320123456222 and so.

The nag should be away now. But HOW have you managed to remove the 45s restriction??? I dind't find any point where to place the patch because no message etc is displayed when it diesconnects. :confused: Plz explain :)

Thanks for finishing that up for me!! I guess its a good thing that I keep a notebook to help me follow the logic as I work. The important part of this patch was in code0003. After a return from BSR L14, we need D5 to equal D0. If you follow the branches in L14, they all end up going through L18 (which is where the RTS is given). In the original L18, D4 is moved to D0 and then on the next line D5 is set. I pretty much just swapped those lines and then changed the line which was originally first so that D5 was moved to D0 AFTER D5 was set... thereby making it impossible that they wouldn't be equal when tested in L21 and L22. If they are inequal, loading Alert 5007 is skipped and (in L23) 5008 is used instead before the branches converge at L24 to display whatever alert was loaded. So, check out Alert 5007 (titled "Registration Complete") and Alert 5008 (titled "Registration Failed") and everything falls into place. I hope that's clear enough... all done with PRCEdit (without which, I'd be nothing).

oh, and as a helpful hint... if you have the original verion of a program and the patched version of a program, you can open the code000#.bin file (PRCEdit output) in Word and use the 'Compare and Merge Documents' tool to open the patched version's code000#.bin. the changes will be highlighted. remember to keep the patched and unpatched files in different folders or PRCEdit will not decompile the second one you open (because it assumes the available files are good).

I don't know if you have a Treo 700, but on a Treo (not sure about other devices) lots of people can't get an upgrade to work with the key they have. I can get my key to work fine with 3.1.7, but when I go to 3.1.8, it won't except it. And the keygen is so old on this page it doesn't help.

This is why I don't upgrade to 3.1.8. Something about that one just won't work, and until it gets fixed, or someone is POSITIVE they can make it work, I usually don't upgrade because of that problem. I've had to restore my device back to 3.1.7 cause nothing has yet to work for 3.1.8

Does USB Modem actually require a crack? I think you just need the full version. If so here is my copy. I don't remember ever entering a serial.

Just thought i'd check cause nothing seems to work to get the driver to install.

No big deal right now cause Ptunes still skips the hell out my Treo. Kinoma hasn't skipped, and neither does Aero. So until they REALLY get it stable, i'm not going to worry about it. And I know i'm not the only one with skipping problems. Visit any site with 700 owners, and some say the newer versions are worse. I couldn't get it to NOT stop skipping. Anyway, I hope they keep working on it cause its a nice program.

I haven't used it with XP myself (I use a mac) but I have a coworker who has. He says he just followed the instructions and didn't have any problems. He did have a problem with connecting at first, but he installed again and it worked.

I'm not sure what the problem is because its all straight forward, and i've never had problems with things like that before. It's like it sends the file to the right folder, but won't install it. Shows the progress bar and all.

Could try safe mode, but not sure that will work. I'm awaiting a response from tech support, but that may not happen.

I use to use PdaNet for my 650 and all worked fine, so that's why i've been trying to get that for the 700.

If ANYONE can crack June Fabrics PdaNet 4.02 i'd GREATLY appreciate it.

Actually, P-Tunes has been reported to check for other known keygens -- not just the P-Tunes one. Here are my keygen instructions:

1) install both 3.1.8 and the keygen
2) do not run 3.1.8 yet!
use the keygen, choosing Deluxe, Curr. Version, 3.x
paste the number to Memo or somewhere. it should
start with "ptd"
3) delete the keygen, AND ALL OTHER KEYGENS (including
PSNG, etc)
4) start up PTunes and enter the saved key

Good luck. 3.1.8 is definitely worth the work.

The Cleanup trial (which is in the Neatfreak pack) can't be registered with a key. You need the full version which doesn't have the nag. So I attached the full version. :D

When i try to drag it to the handheld, the hot-sync process finish correctly but the program does not install
and when i try to install it in the card, it installed it correctly, but then, when i try to copy it tp the handeheld it says that i don´t have enough space (i have 7mb free and the program only occupies 2)

I deleted everything but the bookmarks then reloaded the installer prc
ran that until i got denied then uploaded the cracked prc and bingo bango

It FREAKING WORKS! :)

So about the whole Kinoma & Avvenu streaming music. It works.

Logged on to my account (It's Free) with my Treo 700p, then browsed to my laptop and found my music folder.

I then found a song, and then there was a play link in the window along with download, share, etc. I clicked the play link and it asked if I wanted to open or save and open, and when I opened it, Kinoma popped up, buffered it, and then it started playing.

Now I know it isn't a playlist and you'd have to find every song you wanted, then played it, but its a way to still play songs and NOT store them on your SD card.

My suggestion would to be to create a folder for each type of music you like, and put all of your favorite tracks in there. Say you have 200 rock songs, make a rock folder, then a rap folder, etc etc. Then instead of trying to find the file, you locate the folder then file. The thing is, with Avvenu, if you have a folder shared, then all your other artist folders, you can browse them too.

So for instance, I have 161 pages (since only a few folders show up per page on the device) this would take quite a bit of time to find what I like, so if I made folders of all the music I liked, and put it on the desktop, I would only have to look for those available folders.

Anyway, it works, and its a neat thing really when you can't carry all of your music, or your dying to hear something you don't have on your SD card.

Only thing I need to check is that is saves a small .3k file so you might have to delete it unless it goes away once you exit the app. I haven't really checked that out yet.

When i try to drag it to the handheld, the hot-sync process finish correctly but the program does not install
and when i try to install it in the card, it installed it correctly, but then, when i try to copy it tp the handeheld it says that i don´t have enough space (i have 7mb free and the program only occupies 2)

Ok, I forgot to mention HotSync does not work. :-D Try to put it on SD, then copy it to RAM, but NOT with the palm-copy-function. You need RescoExplorer (in this thread) or the filemanager of zLauncher (here, too)

the website says that once you have a registered version installed all you have to do is download the update but that didn't work. i'm guessing because i installed the cracked v1.08 from earlier in this thread and not a real registered version. so i installed v1.16 and it is now asking me to register it.

Heres some backgrounds I made also some sounds having different sounds is realy cool(on mine when i open the app it says welcome and when i select something it says initiating and so on) and an image resizer with serial so you can make your own backgrounds set it to make jpg and I set the size for 320x320 for my treo 650 and you can find tons of images if you use the image search in yahoo or google

Here are some I've made/resized for 480x320 devices. They were intended for Palm's launcher. I don't know if ZLauncher treats backgrounds any differently, so you may need to alter them a bit. Most of them are from OS X and work great with OS X themes (I use PalmRevolt and mySkin, both with custom skins). Anyway, enjoy!

My guess is that you don't have (everybody say it toguether) "enough memory" :D . Well I've never had this problem but UDMH must be the solution for you.....and well....free some space from your device ;)

That is really too bad, because from what I've been reading they where written expecing a directional pad. So somehow the directional pad for the older devices does not behave like the directional pad on new devices.

Does anyone know of any hacks/utilities that can allow a treo style directional pad to work like the older directional pads? Or perhaps an app that can allow remapping of keys? Anything like that?

This really is a shame because the games appear to work perfectly aside from that one little problem.

Wait! I've had the same problem on my treo, and managed to avoid a hard reset by removing the battery for about 15 seconds. I don't know why it makes a difference, but it worked and just pushing the wee button with the pen didn't.

actually i just did a hotsync and put the original winlaunch.prc back on the treo and used the code that kept popping up on the reset window as my reg code and it works fine now. now i just have to start making 320x320 wallpapers ;)

DTG 8 should overwrite 7. When I got my treo 650, it had 6 on there, and i've never had any difficulties or conflicts

UDMD (Unimited Dinamic Memory Hack).... All of the apps you run need some heap memory (let's think of it as palm's RAM). Some devices have more heap than others, and this heap comes from your device's RAM...So, if you have your palm all filled with programs and you don't have free RAM, you won't have heap either and many programs won't be able to run. UDMH is some sort of hack that allows for a bigger heap in your palm. With this you can run programs that require bigger heap that your device's origina heap...but, you always need free ram ;) ( www.palmpowerups.com )

The regCode pops up in the error window befor reset. Write that code and hotsync the original one. Register with the code you just got :cool:

If your palm resets without even starting (reset loop) you need a warm reset. Press the up button while you reset your palm.

I tried PalmPDF and it crashes badly if I navigate through the PDF I need to reference.

I am looking into a pdf to txt converter or a program that will break up my NEC.pdf file into seperate .pdf's for each chapter. As it is the book is 780 pages and I think that is the problem because PalmPDF looks very nice and does fine with smaller files...
Anyone know of a pdf splitter that will break up a pdf into seperate pdf's?
