Hello All...

Thanks again for responding to my requests. I did locate the culprit that caused my device to shutdown while wacting movies. It was a setting I had in Teallock. Sice I've rectified it I haven't experienced anymore problems. I did download CorePlayer and its keygen and they work well on the Sprint Centro. I'd like to ask which movie software you all believe is better... CorePlayer or TCPMP? I currenly have both installed and naturally I want the better software since there's no reason to keep both!

One ore request... for now anyway.... :)!
I found out about the program Powerman v3.0 here, from one of the many knowledgeable members. Does anyone have a keygen or cracked verson available?

Can anyone help me with this problem. I bought a Patriot 8gb SDHC card for my wife's Centro & when I insert the Card it will recognize it briefly, then after a few moments, it won't recognize it anymore. I can re-insert the card & the same thing happens.

I have formatted the card different ways...using the normal WinXP formatter & Palm Card Reader, using an external Card Reader...no change. I even tried using a "special" Formating program made especially for SD\SDHC cards by Panisonic called SDFormatter, but it still has the same problem.

I have browsed the web & many forums & they all say that the Centro CAN use 8gb SDHC card with no problems. The only issue anyone says, is that the Centro can't properly show the card size info, etc. I don't know what the problem could be.

Any help here???

The way to use:

Start-run-cmd
locate tealos.exe
type tealos "HotsyncID" (if your hotsyncID contains space character, you must type the quote)
enter

Got your regcode!

For example: if you have placed "tealos.exe" into "C:\Test", then you will have to type "C:" to switch to your first harddrive letter (unless you are not already there);
after that, you will have to type "CD Test" to reach the needed directory. As soon as you are within "C:\Test", you can use the keygen, typing "tealos userID" and hitting ENTER.

Not so much a patch as perhaps a work-around. It may be worth a try:


"Here's what to do:
Make a full backup using Resco, NVBAckup or whatever (A hotsync backup isn't good enough) and check it.
Get and install prrm from:

There are 2 items you'll need to select. On my palm they were together in the list.
They are:

Code: ‹ S ›
S 0000 30786
S SyML 0

The S means its in "Saved Preferences" section
The SyML is the App ID (and the 0000 is an attempt to create a hidden backup to stop people just deleting the SyML one!)
and the last number is the database ID.
(I guess there's a chance the numbers in the last column may change)
Go back to the launcher, and then run Preference Remover. scroll to the bottom and you should see your 2 items (0000 and SyML) with a star next to them, which means everything is going as planned. If they are not there, then try again!
Now run your Synthesis Client. and look at the bottom.. (30 days left). Success.

The Treo cannot read SDHC-Cards. Therefore I doubt that this will work without customizing the ROM in your Treo. You could try to get the files FAT32.prc and SDIO-sdsd from a Treo 680 and flash them into your ROM. I read in a german forum that some guys did this and were able to read 4GB SDHC-Cards afterwards. But I have no experience with flashing ROMs on Treos, so I'm not able to give you more details.

Can confirm that. I have customised my ROM and am using 8GB SDHC card which works so far very well. If you research well, it is really worth customising the ROM. My Treo 650 is more stable and fast now. If you need help, just holler ...:D:D:D

I don't think that problem has ever been solved. You could always try another similar game like 'Shattered Worlds Space Combat'.

Maybe your wife's centro has many applications on boot, try one of both in this sequence:

1. Use Safeguard or CardKeeper and enable the "Keep Card Mounted" feature.

2. If this doesn't work, try rename the card with you device, and follow step 1 (this has worked for me before, the only repercussion is that your backup app may not recognize the backups already made, but this can be solved)

3. Try modifying you ROM (You need to do a research on this - and be careful!)

Now... (before you try #3) if these do not work try see if the card is visible in "Safe Mode", after a warm reset in other words (read your manual to find out how). If you see your card after a warm reset and then you don't after a soft reset, it means that you got caught in a common problem with treos. What may happen here is that when you reset there are many application getting notifications of the reset, so that they can register with the Palm OS, these are just things like alarms, time, and stuff like that, so that the info/event is properly available/handled after the reset. So if there are many notifications being registered, it may bug your phone to the point where it may not function properly, as far as installing the SD goes. The result is = a problem similar to yours.

So if this is the case, then do some research on CleanStart, it tries to correct this issue. This app control you device and tells it which apps should get reset notifications.

If you give us your apps installed we may advice you as to which apps you may need to disable on CleanStart. I made a big post on CleanStart and Uncashe like 4 days ago (look a few pages back).

If you are talking about using your palm device to access the internet then there is a solution. You can use padnet to access the internet. pdanet uses your device as a USB modem so that you can use access the internet on your PC with your palm device as the modem. It does'nt seem to matter what i try to do, everytime i use an expansion card on my tx the battery life drops to about 2 hours before needing to be recharged. As long as i only run programs, games etc from internal ram i get the expected 2 - 4 day between charges.

I have tried several times hard resetting my device, and I even installed a new battery (unfortunately the problem remains). I have also tried using many different sd cards and even factory made ones--- like my Atari 4-in-1 and my Britannica encyclopedia sd card. Still though with the same results.

I have also tried formatting some of my sd cards and reloading appz and games on them. I have even bought new sd cards just incase the ones i had were failing. But it still made no difference.

Ive even loaded music to my internal ram (using resco explorer) to try and determine if the problem was maybe caused in part by my tx's audio amplifier, and found i was able to repeat the same few tracks over and over for what seem like a countless number of hours.

Now I'm stuck guys
Is it possible that my sd driver (or even sd slot) is corrupt.
Is there any hope of being able to correct this problem???

I would greatly appreciate any comments, thoughts and ideas...

Glad to have been of help.

To answer your last question, you can use Resco Explorer, if you don't have it, I recommend you this app, its great, it does everything you want concerning file management and whole lot more...

Then on the right hand side pannel, click on applications, select All, then go to menu, tools, export list and you can save it as a text file on your card or phone and then sync it to your PC.

To answer your last question, you can use Resco Explorer, if you don't have it, I recommend you this app, its great, it does everything you want concerning file management and whole lot more...

Then on the right hand side pannel, click on applications, select All, then go to menu, tools, export list and you can save it as a text file on your card or phone and then sync it to your PC.

Thanks for the help! I tried Safeguard & CardKeeper card mount & renaming the Card, like you said...but the 8gb card functions the same. When I insert the card, it shows up...I can browse files, pictures, launch programs on it, etc. but then when I exit the card, then turn around & try to go back to the card...it is gone.

Then I put the 2gb card back in (which has ALL the same files BTW), it functions fine without a hitch. I even tried the card on my Centro & it does the same thing....it makes no sense.

So, what is the easiest way to export the list of programs on the Centro, so i can post them for help using Cleanstart??

cleanup and tealscan but both can be dangerous. I suggest cleanup and use its backup feature.

It does'nt seem to matter what i try to do, everytime i use an expansion card on my tx the battery life drops to about 2 hours before needing to be recharged. As long as i only run programs, games etc from internal ram i get the expected 2 - 4 day between charges.

I have tried several times hard resetting my device, and I even installed a new battery (unfortunately the problem remains). I have also tried using many different sd cards and even factory made ones--- like my Atari 4-in-1 and my Britannica encyclopedia sd card. Still though with the same results.

I have also tried formatting some of my sd cards and reloading appz and games on them. I have even bought new sd cards just incase the ones i had were failing. But it still made no difference.

Ive even loaded music to my internal ram (using resco explorer) to try and determine if the problem was maybe caused in part by my tx's audio amplifier, and found i was able to repeat the same few tracks over and over for what seem like a countless number of hours.

Now I'm stuck guys
Is it possible that my sd driver (or even sd slot) is corrupt.
Is there any hope of being able to correct this problem???

I would greatly appreciate any comments, thoughts and ideas...

i would suggest to install powerhero and monitor what it suggests thats draining your battery. Than maybe try PowerSDHC and see if it can fix anything

Try to format the card (if) can from your treo not the PC if still the same problems you need SDHC card reader & HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool which you can use google to find it (it's free ).

format your card with FAT32 using the HP tool your card will work this time but remember to have SDHC card reader & to backup your data .

This is usually determined by your phone carrier network settings. For instance if you are on sprint, this will be a bit toughy to resolve. Best thing is to advice your pals to limit single text messages to 160 char.

Please I always refer people to this post by RS, because he took the time to write something that will make things better here for everbody.

OK, first off, welcome to the forum.

Most of these programs (if not all) are already posted on here.
Here's how to locate them:

1. Scroll up to the top of this page
2. Just above the top post (under the page numbers) are several button choices.
3. Click on 'Search this thread' for a drop-down box.
4. Enter the name of the software (Keep it simple like 'Lightspeed' & not Lightspeed 3.0 overclock')and press 'Go'
5. A list of posts in this thread will return that have that topic in it.
6. Click on the underlined topic within the dark blue box to be taken to that post. Sometimes you'll have to look into several of the listed posts because some may only be requests or discussion of the software.
7. You can also use the 'Search' feature all the way at the top, but this searches the entire GSM forum and you need to make sure you toggle on 'View posts' and not 'View threads'.
8. Also, I'll give you a shortcut for several programs:

b. This is a link to all the threads in the Palm forum.
c. Look across from the thread topics & just under the 'Rating' heading.
d. If there is an icon of a black paperclip, it means that there are file attachments.

But to get you started, you can you the hobbyst keygen posted in the attachment page. Follow step 8a above. All you need to do is to install the kg, run it, select the hobbyst application you want, generate the new serial, record it somewhere, install the updated version of the app you want, and register the app with serial generated.

Ok, I've tried LJP but no matter what I do i'm stuck in a reset loop. I just tried Firestorm's GB player, It's jumping and skipping all over the place.....:( I have NESem and it works great.:) I had a GB emulator at one time on my treo. It worked great, just cant remember what it was. I'm running a centro now and almost all of the programs I had on the treo work. Except LJP and Firestorm's GB.... Anyone have a centro thats running a working emulator?

You can use PowerHero and schedule any brightness level you wish at any time of the day. Or you can use PowerMan and set brightness according to the surrounding light (which is captured by the camera, if you have a Treo).

Hi King...thanks for all of your help. If you browse through the list of Birds using the Alphabetical Listing, you will see that the limitation on the Demo is there are only handful of the bird names that you can click & view (my wife said like 4 out of over 1000). These are Blue. The rest are black & can't be selected. I would imagine that the "Registration Keys" that are emailed after payment must be a small file that is added to the Palm that the Bird program looks for when it starts up, probably something similar to a Windows Reg key. Does that make any sense? I don't know if that is something that can be fixed. Or can it? ;)

Has anyone noticed this statement on the official website? "The FREE trial version includes randomly chosen articles." I have a strong feeling that nobody is able to download the entire thing in a demo version, you're just getting a portion of the program.

which dictionary you trying to use ?? may be i can generate it for you...

or instruction is simple...

--Keymaker use instructions:--
1. Run keymaker
2. Choose proper dictionary from the list
3.* If there is no needed dictionary in the list, click on ... button and choose a dictionary or bundle file (.prc), for SlovoEd 5.0 you could also specify .dat bundle file.
4. Choose you platform Palm OS, Pocket PC SlovoEd 5.0 or Pocket PC SlovoEd 6.0
5. Now you could use generated key
6. Enjoy! :-)


or

1) Download the dictionary that you need a serial for and extract the prc to a diectory on your PC.
2) Run the KG and select the "..." butoon and browse the the directory that you extracted the dictionary to.
3) Select one of the prc's and generate a serial for it.

The Beiks dictionary patch I created works on all dictionaries: language, medical, bible, phrase books and others.......

All you have to do is install the databases of the different dictionary files (not the bdicty file) that you download from the beiks website to your palm.....

If you made the mistake and install the bdicty file from the website, just install the bdicty patch file to your device again.....

Hi King. First, I'd like to thank you for helping us so many times. As for RDM+ software, I downloaded the software from their website and installed it on my PC. When I go to register screen, on the left side it asks for Name and Email. If I select "I have already registered my computer number in RDM+ Online Service..." it allows me to enter the "Computer PIN". I assume that is the place where I'm supposed to enter the code. Anyway, when I pasted a973a7adc2813e7 the OK button is still greyed out. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to register the software on the PC?

Seen outside an app for security, called Blue Pill

I don't believe there is a minimum of posts required before being able to upload files.

I'm sure you've already tried this but here's the steps for uploading.

1. Click on 'Post Reply' or 'Quote'
2. Scroll down to 'Additional Options'
3. Click on 'Manage Attachments'
4. In the pop-up window, within the "Upload file from your computer" area, click 'Browse'
5. Browse to the file you want, click to highlight and click 'ok' (or double-click)
6. Click on the 'Upload' button that is also within the "Upload file from your computer" area

I have used IE7 with no problem. It may be a firewall problem stopping upstream data flow.

I believe Gutta Moss was also having this problem. Not sure if it was fixed yet.

At least I know after reading this thread, that I'm not the only one having this problem. But it seems that the admins of this forum don't care a lot about that issue. Anyway, as long as there are free one click hoster it's no real problem.

i installed digital hairstyle on my 680 an it works. it is full version. please note that i do not have fruit swap in my palm. maybe it opens up fruit swap when you have both apps in the palm. i dont know just a hunch. thanks again RS.

Here is the patched file. Make sure u read AND follow the directions in the ReadMe1st.txt. I have tried it in my TREO 650 and works perfectly. I only provide the info on this one...

I have loaded and locked my poor 755treo several times, but I think I have it down now. I really like the tealos launcher, but can I also load Zlauncher to move my applications to the card or is there a better way to do this?

I use Ringo and it works great. You can also select specific ringtones for each person in the address book, run from card, and use mp3's as ringtones.

Yes i use ringcare this is little complicated at first but when you get use to it i think it the best ringer out there this is my opnion...

but there are other ringtones..

use the search button its all there. or you can use google and find which ringtone you want for palm...

I use mRing for 3 reasons:
1) Picture ID
2) Allows for ringtones to be stored on memory card
3) Can use a random ringtone for every call. I like hearing a different ringer every time, and this is the only program I found that has this function built in.

I have an unlocked Centro-1.01-ATT Firmware G.R01.12 PalmOS 5.4.9 powered by Access. I, up to last week, had like 16mb of free cache, now I only have 13?! I said WTF!!! I only installed a few bibles and transfer them to my SD Card, so why did my cache got affected?!

So, I have this question, how can you increase your cache? I have a friend, and he showed me his centro and I saw he had like 28mb of cache. WTF!!!! Again.... Didn't have the time to ask how he did it, but does anybody know how to safely do it, that can guide me through how to, or guide to some place I can find the info on how to do it?
