Sorry, I do not understand your question.
There is software that answers your calls, plays a message and records whatever the caller says, like in voicemail, but in the phone itself. It just does not work under Treo 680.
In Treo 680, I can auto-answer with CallFilter, record with CallRec, I just miss that little message...

One other request. I bought my daughter a treo 650 simply to use for games and such. Therefore, I don't need the phone portion, and more importantly... the blinky light. Is there some program that will turn off annoying blinky light?

first you should buy a cable from pc to your treo 650 .. cable with hsid let you to install sofware and what ever you like on your phone !! its easy

press the start button, go to all programs, then go to accessories and choose command prompt( a black box with white writing).... now locate your keygen on your pc..... right click over the keygen and choose copy.....now go to the command prompt box and paste the keygen in it .....press space once.....then type "your hotsync name" (for example "kingtyce" )this must be done with the quotes or else it won't work....and do not put any spaces between the quotes and your hotsync name.....then press enter......you should now see your registration key........

I just thought I would let you know, that starting with v1.43, tealos works very well on my Tungsten T5. I can set it up in a variety of backgrounds and icon styles, from a single scroll of icons/cards to a scrolling page. The T5 is set as follows: Warpspeed set at Bus: 13 x 17 = 221MHz CPU:BUS x 5/2 = 553 MHz. The warpspeed is not necessary, it is just habit that I have most used apps set at this rate.

Today 'should' be the last day we'll see new versions, as today (at 5:00 PDT) is the last day they will be selling/distributing TealOS, as per their recent agreement with Palm. :(

Can't generate a key for you, because it is based on device serial number....you will have to generate a key for yourself using the keygen.....

thanks kingtyce well that the only program like you said is softick audio gateway but it only works with stereo headsets A2DP so i just start looking for and their was a way to redirect music to mono bluetooth but it was on a treo 750 but this is wmb as you know so i was wandering if there was sometihng similar for palm OS like btaudio but for palm os.

Ok, Well I see they updated Lightspeed to 3.1 now.......And guess what guys. There is finally a patch for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lightspeed version 3.1 is now owned above and beyond how 3.0 was. 3.0 was just a RAM patch.

I do suggest you upgrade. From what I can tell, it caches a copy of the decoded ARM assembly during runtime, which means that the delay incurred when switching apps should be reduced. It's mind-boggling why this wasn't done in the first place.

Install the application and register with any text that you so desire.

I have been running this on my 755p and no problems at all..:D

But what issues has the deluxe version? I'm using the Basic version and after an incoming call ended it switchs back to the previous app as it should. But then when I try to do an outgoing call I open the phone app and it switches back imediately to the previous app. It does not stay in phone app.

Hey guys..

Two questions..

1. In trying to install Coreplayer, I get a message saying "cannot verify Serial...". I've tried deleting and reinstalling...many times. I've tried versions 1.25 and 1.30 both with the post kg...AND I've tried using Cleanup...to no avail. I am using MUH and am aware of how to use it..so I know it isn't that. Is there a config file that I need to delete?

2. That brings me to my second question. Is there a better cleaning utility than Cleanup? There seems to be ALOT of crap running in Ram, but most of it I have no idea what it is or if I need it. I've contemplated doing a hard boot and starting over..but jeez...I really am trying to avoid that..

Make sure you have input the serial as shown.. Post your hsid i will see if you are generating the same serial...

1. I think you are trying to register coreplayer using MUH, Don't do that generate your serial with your original HSID. open MUH and look for coreplayer and select use orignal HSID. You trying to register coreplayer with MUH that why u getting "cannot verify Serial."

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was a program that could tell ME what is in RAM that isn't used or needed...

Do you have bluetooth capability on your PC and your phone? If so, you can use the bluetooth option of pdanet to connect to the internet and you don't need a cable connection. These are my top five, there are many others that are close and it depends on how you use your palm. A launcher program like Tealos is nice and a file explorer program like filez or RescoExplorer often come in handy.

I know Saj..I've installed the program StyleTap Launcher that permits me to put Palm programs on my Windows Mobile...some kind of emulator I guess..

Hour Pay works great..it's just the Multi User Hack that's doesn't work with the "Emulator".

So my guess is that a cracked copy of Hour Pay would work, as I wouldn't have to go around by the MUH

But what issues has the deluxe version? I'm using the Basic version and after an incoming call ended it switchs back to the previous app as it should. But then when I try to do an outgoing call I open the phone app and it switches back imediately to the previous app. It does not stay in phone app.

Ok, mad hat solved your problem with the kg (guess 7485).
About Deluxe version, try it. It is well conceived, theoretically, but there are options that don't work. Maybe you're lucky... I allways got back to Basic version, works the way I want (basicly...), once the ones I wish do not.

You can use Cleanup like you said before, it has a backup feature. If something stops working, just put back the file. I would suggest a weekly cleanup, pick about 3 files. If something stops working just put back does 3 files.

To use cleanup you should go to its site and update the signature file: http://www.northglide.com/products.html#Signature

In cleanup you have to sections, files and preferences (its like the registry in windows or preferences in macs). In both if the signature file doesn't have reference to it, no app name will appear in front of it, BUT this does not mean its not important, just a suspect. Read the help files, it examples things better. Your best chances are file and preferences with blue ball (LOL) and red square. Remember use the backup feature. If you want to be sure you can do a search (i suggest using a overclocker on this app).

You can also start using uninstall manager to uninstall apps, this way you will have much less trash in your system.

Is there a place on the centro to set what program you want to run upon a soft reset? If it matters I am using TealOS and TakePhone...and right now after a reset it goes into the original Phone App.. :(

use 3.5 skinner then register with any serial then overright with 3.6 it stays registered. it will show 3.5 version but actuaally it will be 3.6 so no need to use MUH or reload every 14 days..

You DONT need an antivirus program for your Palm

Even if a Windows or other platform virus like Symbian gets in a Palm, it’s unlikely (unless the virus writer has made it to work in the Palm OS environment) that it will do much harm on the Palm. If we can recall, Palm can only recognise prc and pdb files. All other extensions are unknown to them.

Practically, 4 virii are currently known on Palm OS handhelds-and none of them is easily available(not even in the underground, believe me as I am there-more about this some other day). After downloading a few hundred programs from different sources, the virii still didn’t pop up.

Virii for Palm powered handhelds do exist in theory-but practically nobody finds them. No average palm user needs an antivirus program on his handheld

about does games, if they are java, look through this thread about prc2jar, there is a way to convert java games to prc. I know its possoble but never tried it.

I'm trying to use Opera mini...so I installed the files in Step 2, but when I try to navigate from the 'start page' to another page, Opera crashes and brings me back to my homepage. The palm doesn't shut off, just the software. Before that it seemed to go ok...I even got to change the skin of opera...but when I try to go to yahoo.com or click on 'mySpace', opera just shuts off. Any ideas? Did I miss something with the java setup?

Hopefully, you have a backup of your device files on your computer. You can try to put the native memo app database back on your device to see if that solves the problem. It should be located in your backup and or archive folder on your computer.

I haven't tried this (cause I think that Butler is the best to me - but that is just me!), but have you tried install this version, input the code given by saj and then install the new version over it? The updated version should stay regged.

This has worked before for me for other apps, I think that it should work here again. Or otherwise, if it asks you to input a code, then re-enter the same code.

That is because I removed it from the ROM while customising it. Most simply put it, I uploaded my ROM from theTreo 650 to my PC, removed all what I considered waste, put in what I wanted, downloaded it from the PC to my Treo 650 and that was it.

It sounds like that all you need is the memo app database and not the app itself. So, I would suggest that if you have palm desktop on your computer you could use it to enter a few items on the desktop memo app and then sync to your palm device. I am thinking this will put a memo database back on your palm. Not sure if it will work but it is worth a try. The other method would be to use another palm device (if you have access to another one) and copy their memo database to your device. Good luck. Let me know if it works.

I was MIA for a while again until this weekend. I was traveling and then this past week I do not have wifi here in my apt in nyc, but I caught up and thanks to kingtyce for this post on USB Modem. How can you tell if a Treo680 is unlocked?

I just got my Treo680 unlocked, but can't tell if it worked or not.

I tested it with a de-activated sim card, it shows "Sim Not Allowed" and then says "No Service SOS only"

With a de-activated sim, does this happen? If the unlock didn't work, should it say "Sim Not Allowed" w/o "No Service SOS only"

I tested that de-activated sim card in my iPhone with yellowsnow and it says no service.

I just got my Treo680 unlocked, but can't tell if it worked or not.

I tested it with a de-activated sim card, it shows "Sim Not Allowed" and then says "No Service SOS only"

With a de-activated sim, does this happen? If the unlock didn't work, should it say "Sim Not Allowed" w/o "No Service SOS only"

I tested that de-activated sim card in my iPhone with yellowsnow and it says no service.

It sounds like that all you need is the memo app database and not the app itself. So, I would suggest that if you have palm desktop on your computer you could use it to enter a few items on the desktop memo app and then sync to your palm device. I am thinking this will put a memo database back on your palm. Not sure if it will work but it is worth a try. The other method would be to use another palm device (if you have access to another one) and copy their memo database to your device. Good luck. Let me know if it works.

I didnt had luck. Agendus didnt got to read the database, it got stuck and i had to reboot :(

But seriously friend, you need to consider the Search Button more seriously. Just because of your post, I also searched for Mundu IM and came across a post from Saj070 (No. 17850)which includes the comment-
