I get that error message sometimes as well.
Best thing to do if you do get an error message after submitting a post is to NOT use the back button, but instead reload the thread. 9 times out of 10 the post will have gone through. ;)
EDIT: Matter of fact, I got a 'Forbidden' error when posting this reply, but it still posted...

Pals, I do not know what happened but some apps (until now only 2 of them) are no more working on my Centro: YourCall and Chimester - and even Chime as a one-try replacement). Do you have any clue? Thanx

I didnt had luck. Agendus didnt got to read the database, it got stuck and i had to reboot :(
Were you able to verify that the memo database (memoDB) got on your device by checking with an app like filez or resco explorer. If the DB is on there then maybe you need to have the memo app itself on your device. I do not use Agendus so don't know that for sure. I don't know where you can get the memo app to put on your device. Maybe someone else on the forum might know how.

I tried it. Seems to be a little buggy. Its an alpha release so that should be expected, I suppose. Probably may turn out to be a great application.
The first Post was a direct link to the app, the second Post didn't mention what was being talked about either. This discussion is about something called TealWheel. It's in beta testing, is free to download, and is an unusual looking Launcher, apparently. Picture a small icon in the middle, that's the Home button, with lines radiating out to other icons in a circle around the central one, representing various apps that can be launched. Might be fun to try. Me, I'm too happy with TealOS to care...

I have been using hebrew lite & luach for my treo650 and it works just fine with the keygen that I found on this site. I tried it on a friends T/X and the keygen works for the hebrew. When I try the Luach it says I have the wrong serial number. Can someone take a look at this please. This is the link for luach http://penticon.com/lu_download.html . Is there some sort of keygen for just this app? It says on their website that if you have hebrew 5 then luach is included free.

Saj, please let me chip in and say that if the newest version which is 1.96 is a trial app, he can always try to install over the patched version and see if it stays, sometimes you are lucky that it does...

majority of the apps will stay registered if you copy over the patch version but not all.. as long as they are the same series..

P.S. Did you put the dbs in ROM? The dbs and app will most likely need to be in ROM not on your card.

TealOs is AWESOME...I wish I had found it sooner. I used Zlauncher, but it really wasn't too different from the stock OS, though more customizable. But yeah, with Teal it's like a whole new OS...
..the only downside I have found so far is trying to speed it up. I am trying CleanStart and UDMH, but am still trying to get the right config...so there is some lag. But boy is it pretty...

Sorry friends, my mistake - I did not mention I was talking about TealWheel. Thanks for pointing it out.
While on the subject of Launchers, I have been using TreoLauncher for some time now and it seems to be working just fine. Typing a few letters selects applications starting with the same letters and if there is only one application matching the letters entered, that application gets launched automatically. It shows the last 10 apps used. Is much lighter and faster and uses less resources and RAM. Though TealOS of course has its own features.
if you want to customize your status bar, you better use "mySkin" from Alex Pruss, it can skin and customize the DIA, with excellent results, its the best option, plus it can make the search button to change to home button, without any extra hack or app.
You better try it!!

Ty...yeah, I tried there....actually EVERYwhere...and I have determined that there are no spades games for bb 81xx that has been cr***ed in any way. The only half-way decent Spades is magmic, but I hate to spend money to find out it sux....and until realdice comes out with that model support, that's exactly what Ima have to do.

I already installed both hacks from Takephone (tkphhack.prc and tkplushk.prc) and an hack manager (YAHM, since I couldn't find hack-master or X-master for PalmOS 5). But YAHM told me that both TAKEphone hacks (tkphhack.prc and tkplushk.prc) has no code resources inside so YAHM can't activate them.
Since the hacks can't be activated, I can't get TAKEphone to interface with the SMS apps I have installed (the std SMS app from Palm and funSMS 5).
Do I need another hack manager? Or a different SMS app?
FYI, I can get TAKEphone to interface with Agendus Pre and Blazer.
Any pointers is deeply appreciated....

What device do you use? Because i think the functionality of those hacks can be achieved from TakePhone preferences if you use any Garnet 5.4 device.

Yes he is looking for the original memo app that comes with palm. He removed it from his device and now is having trouble with Agendus because there is no memoDB on the device. I suggested that he try to put just the DB on his device by syncing the palm desktop memo app with his device because Agendus said the memoDB was missing but that did not work. He wants to put the app back on his device to see if that fixes it. I didn't know where he could get the original.

What device do you use? Because i think the functionality of those hacks can be achieved from TakePhone preferences if you use any Garnet 5.4 device.

Any suggestions anyone....?

I need some help!
I had Softick's Audio gateway v1.20 installed on my Sprint Centro and it was working fine using a registration number that was generated either from a keygen or given to me here... I don't remember! I attempted to install the latest version of this fantastic software... version 1.22.2250 in hopes that it would copy right over the old version and remain registered. Unfortunately it didn't and I wasn't able to use the old registration code to re-register it.
The newer version now asks for your hotsync name: my hotsunc name is: gmathews08 however... the word "Palm" is listed as my hotsync name in Audio Gateway and it doesn't provide me with a method to change it! I attempted to remove the newer version from my device and re-install the old version and even though it shows as version 1.20 It still lists my hotsync name as "Palm". The oler version of Softick Audio Gateway didn't ask for that and I can't seem to remove it or get back to my original version... even when I restore the old files using the "restore individual files" option in Backupman!
I'm hoping someone here can/will provide me with either a keygen or registration code for SoftickAudio Gateway v.1.22.2250. Problem is I don't know if I should ask for it using the hotsync name of "Palm" which is listed, or my real hotsync name... gmathews08. Hopefully... if someone is willing to help... they can and will offfer both!

I had Softick's Audio gateway v1.20 installed on my Sprint Centro and it was working fine using a registration number that was generated either from a keygen or given to me here... I don't remember! I attempted to install the latest version of this fantastic software... version 1.22.2250 in hopes that it would copy right over the old version and remain registered. Unfortunately it didn't and I wasn't able to use the old registration code to re-register it.
The newer version now asks for your hotsync name: my hotsunc name is: gmathews08 however... the word "Palm" is listed as my hotsync name in Audio Gateway and it doesn't provide me with a method to change it! I attempted to remove the newer version from my device and re-install the old version and even though it shows as version 1.20 It still lists my hotsync name as "Palm". The oler version of Softick Audio Gateway didn't ask for that and I can't seem to remove it or get back to my original version... even when I restore the old files using the "restore individual files" option in Backupman!
I'm hoping someone here can/will provide me with either a keygen or registration code for SoftickAudio Gateway v.1.22.2250. Problem is I don't know if I should ask for it using the hotsync name of "Palm" which is listed, or my real hotsync name... gmathews08. Hopefully... if someone is willing to help... they can and will offfer both!

Is it possible to have Picsel browser on a Treo/Centro? I tried once but that gave me a reset loop.

I got fly installed and checked it out. It looks pretty good. It uses GPS to track your position and you can customize it to fit your aircraft type.

I am not sure if the Centro comes with it but my treo 755 came with Voice Memo installed on it. I have also used mVoice which has some nice features such as categories for your recordings and also allows recording of phone calls. May i suggest something backup everything and perform a hard reset then just try what Kingtyce said before you load your backup data...

Usually when I pop open slingplayer on my treo, it would ask me to install the new version. But now it's not asking me or that automatic prompt is not popping up. Hmmm.
Once it does I will then install that and then put this patch over it.

You need to uninstall everything included preference file and try 1.20 version and not 1.22...

What's up guys?
Been MIA again, but it's because of traveling.
Got a quick question but will get caught up on things here too eventually, but was hoping to get the patched version of Slingplayer for my Treo and it's version Version 1.00.22 (626 KB).
Did a search and saw that .19 and earlier versions are patched, but i would appreciate this patch (and so would my mother :))

As I said before, I don't have a sling box to try this out on so I don't know if my patch works properly......You will have to test it out and let me know......
Install and run the SlingPlayer installer (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H3LTVDFR)......then copy over with the SlingPlayer patch......Patch should be preregistered.....

Would you know how to run/play the audio for Informobility's Quran 2.0 (play the Ghamidi recitals)? I have the patched demo (thanks to kingtyce) and the Ghamidi's mp3's (NOT from Informobility, can't find it on their website), tried to copy the mp3's to SD (as in the app's Preference) but the app keeps saying "File not found" when I tap the play button.
What I'd like to have is an Mobile Quran with Arabic & English translations and integrated audio/mp3 as well (something like the electronic quran mp4 player). I already have the 'standalone' Quran with translation (quite a good one, java-based from www.guidedways.com) and the mp3's from elsewhere, would be really nice if there's an "integrated" one..
So far the closest thing I found is Informobility's app, but I'm stuck there. Any suggestions?

Your the man. This may do the trick, thx. I'm still trying to put styletap on the Nokia to put palm apps, this is just a play thing. The treo 650 is the work horse, can't beat the treo keyboard and Textplus text prediction. What I want is the Palm Pre, but it mat take a while till its in europe, oh well. The Nokia 5800 has the same web browser as the Pre (webkit engine plus flash lite) and a palm emulator, styletap. But damn nokia app certificate system is hell to break.

I just bought my wife a tungsten e2, as she had been asking for a pda for a while, and it was there new in the box on clearance for just $75. I know it's a little outdated, but she is thrilled with it anyway. I'm finding a few things are different from my tx (of course) and I am trying to set it up for her to maximize what \i can get out of it. I am having a few issues that I am sure someone here might be able to solve, so here goes:
It is limited to reading 1 gig maximum sd cards, but I read somewhere that with a small fix, this can be upgraded to 2gigs or regular sd cards. I assumed this had something to do wih the FAT32 driver, which apparently is not included on the e2, but when I installed the drivers fr tthis, up popped a message that the FAT32 drivers were already installed, and so I checked the ram, and indeed there was fat32 listed, but it still does not recognize any of several brands of 2 gig sd cards I tried. Is there a fix for this somewhere (or is the only possibility dmitry's sdhc driver, which seems a bit excessive as for her needs, 2 gig should be more than enough and we don't really need to pay to go sdhc (which by the way I already bought for the tx, and is fantastic). Can someone post a fix for 2gig cards for the e2 if they know of one?
Second, I tried to run warpspeed for the e2, to improve it's capability of playing video using coreplayer, which otherwise is a little choppy. But every time I enable warpspeed the whole device freezes. I have had great results with warpspeed for my tx; is there some kind of minimum device specs required to overclock which the e2 does not meet, or is this an installation problem or software conflict?

I'd recommend trying a different overclocker:
LightSpeed (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=3321315&postcount=9703) is a very nice alternative. :)

hey I like TreoAlarm it has 8 diffrent alarms plus you can use your mp3's as the alarm and if you have internet set up it will update the weather

This is instructions on how to use the TealWheel keygen.....
ON WINDOWS XP:
press the start button, go to all programs, then go to accessories and choose command prompt( a black box with white writing).... now locate your keygen on your pc..... right click over the keygen and choose copy.....now go to the command prompt box and paste the keygen in it .....press space once.....then type "your hotsync name" (for example "kingtyce" )this must be done with the quotes or else it won't work....and do not put any spaces between the quotes and your hotsync name.....then press enter......you should now see your registration key........

For your first question, I guess the only way is PowerSDHC (http://www.palmpowerups.com/readarticle.php?article_id=11), have you searched it here? It supports Tungsten e2
Second question, like c12 said, light speed, if that doesn't work try "pxa clocker" (its the one i use). For movies you can always try another app, may make the frame rate better, try: "kinoma", the free coreplayer parent "tcpmp", "tealmovie" is another one. I think there was a "SmartMovie" too.

You can try this it may work.. just a suggestion.. you have nothing to lose.. Just trying out all options...
first u have 2 do is format the SD CARD with windows with FAT or FAT16, because some E2 can't read FAT32; then u put the SD into PALM

i need help regarding SDHC card reading.......
i am using treo 650 and i want to know that can i use SDHC card in it....... like on of 8gb etc....
i dont to do anything with rom , like somewhat i came to know..........
software will be ok , if i am required to install a software for SDHC..........
the only way to do this is through ROM editing, I did it with mine.
It was very easy however. There were a few guides that used the difficult method, but I this (http://grack.com/programming/misc/TreoROMTool.html) program that made everything easy. Just replace the FAT 32 file with the SDHC driver, and I'm not sure if there was another file you had to add in or not... just don't forget to edit the boot file to match the files you modify/add.
It may sound complicated, but it's actually very easy. :)
I have to put in this warning: If you use this program incorrectly it CAN ruin your device, and I am not held responsible. :P

Awesome King Diggety Dawg... I got a new work laptop, d/l'd palm desktop from palm's site, installed, and I can't get recognition (windows sees it, but pd won't pick it up for hotsync) my initial thought is that I need to install a separate driver, but today is so friggin nutz because of everything I have to do to get ready for this job tomorrow (finally going on the road after training--copier repair...) that I don't have time today to hunt for it.
Got any ideas? I'll figure it out eventually but right now I'm just busy and unfocused. Thanks for your help as always ... Kev

I did already try that before... it really isn't making sense the more I think about it... when I press the hotsync, nothing happens... phone tries to sync but not PC. I'll try it again (as you know, when it comes to sh** like this, sometimes the 87th time is the charm...)
