Though it shows current power usage there's no way in that prog of identifying what apps/services are running (with or without one's knowledge), and what they're consuming. Uh, that is except for the Phone Connection, Bluetooth, Keyboard lights, Network connection, Screen brightness & Infrared connection whose settings I hadn't changed recently.
However I've played around with other settings in PowerHero, and also tinkered with settings of some apps that may have an active component, and the battery charge is holding up a lot better so far.

Not all patched apps will keep the registration after you update........but for resco explorer it will keep its registration........

My friend, I am using a 8GB SDHC card on my Treo 650 quite comfortably. I did that by modifying my ROM, adding support for FAT32 and SDHC. I think if you search this thread you may get some of the useful sites where you can get to know how to do this. For your convenience, I have done the searching and here are the links:

Try a warm or soft reset.
Or else go back to the last good backup you have.

I did already try that before... it really isn't making sense the more I think about it... when I press the hotsync, nothing happens... phone tries to sync but not PC. I'll try it again (as you know, when it comes to sh** like this, sometimes the 87th time is the charm...)

Just a thought, but did you ensure that the hotsync settings on your phone and PC are set for the same type of sync. What I mean is to ensure that both are set for cable/cradle sync or both set for bluetooth sync. It sounds like that could be the problem. Also make sure that the hotsync icon is on the taskbar (lower right) of your PC to ensure it is loaded and running. If not you can run it from the start menu. Another thought, not sure what phone you are using but check to make sure the palm OS version and palm desktop version are compatible.

to see whats working in the background, you can use safeguard (the apps with the running man) or palm internals (notifications and system alarms). I like the later one. If you search here for palm internals and posts by me, you will find posts on how to use it

Reset doctor has a good crash log. You can see the last app that crashed your palm

My cable is so unpredictible that I finally bought a $10 bluetooth dongle so I could hotsync when the cable wouldn't work. It's slower than the cable obviously, but at least it always works.:D

last known map set I use is Benelux v675.1409
the 675.1409 is fairly old but for al I know no update for Navigator

Resco explorer will do that. Filez also does it. Zlauncher's file manager also.

Resco explorer is the most advanced one. You can't ask for more. Just search for it here.

I guess i ddin't understand your question i think Mad_hat answered your question. Like he said use CardReader, its multitasking features are one of the best on the palm OS. Cool is getting a call and answering it, will cardreader is copying files

SAj070, didn't mean to touch a nerve, but...

I did a search before requesting the serial and the only thing I found was version 2.11 patched. The newest version is 2.13 which apparently resolves some "bugs". :rolleyes:

If you look through you my posts you will see that I rarely ask for a serial because most of the applications I have found with the search button...Trust me I appreciate everyone's help and taking the time to generate serials and I also try to contribute where I can...(even though I am a Newbie).

Hello Everyone...

I've downloaded the trial version of USB Modem v1.60 and set it up so that it works with my laptop computer. My problem is this.... after using the "search button" to locate a keygen for version 1.60 I wasn't able to find one.

I was able to locate a USB Modem version 1.59 however I am reluctant to download and trasfer it to my device for fear that it won't work and cause the current version I have installed... Version 1.60... that I've set up to work with my laptop... to stop working.... especially with all the problems I had after installing the newest version of Audio Gatway thinking it would continue to function the way the older cracked version did!

Incidentally... I finally was able to uninstall the newer version and all its files.... reinstall Audio Gateway version 1.20 and get it working again!

Question... can anyone provide me with a registration code for USB Modem v.1.60 or a keygen that will generate a registration code for this version? My hotsync name is: gmathews08. Does anyone know if USB Modem v1.60 will work if I install version 1.59 overtop of it?

You should be just fine overwrite with 3.0 will not lose any data or setting..

PS: i always backup my phone prior to any new app i install usiing resco backup pro, Why if the new app has a conflict or phone goes into a loop or resets then you will have to hard reset.

this is were resco backup will install allyour setting data prior to you installing new apps.. You have no idea resco backup has saved me hours and hours of work..

No version 5.3.6 should work i think you are inputting zero and "O" - number "0"

I can't speak for the others here but I don't get annoyed when i ask someone to make a search, I just tell them because this way they learn how it is and plus I don't have to search it for them. I know newbies here don't get it at first and plus the damn search feature in this forum is very very bad. Believe me, I'm a developer and I have made search engines and this one is very bad and that annoys me.

We just have to use what we have, bad search engine but one of the best or simply the best place on the net to be if you love your palm.

Not quite sure what u mean by saying that you want to sync you palm tx so that it can receive and send texts. If you mean to have your palm tx to forward all texts received to your nokia, then there is an application called SMSCommander http://www.suntzu-software.com/smscommander.htm , With this I think that you can even send a text from any other phone with a special command and your palm phone will forward it to whoever you want.

However, I think that Suntzu does not support palm tx. If I am not mistaken he only supports treos and centros. However, you can dig into that; do not ask for a keygen or serial for this app cause you wouldn't get it from anywhere.

Now if you want to do the reverse; I don't think we would be able to help you because that would mean to have applications intalled on your nokia that does the samething like SMSCommander, but you would be asking in the wrong thread. So see if there is forum here that supports nokia.

thanks for the welcome ron2k:) when im on trips usually i keep my hands on my palm coz i play my music on it and keep my phone in my pocket. ive been using the standard sms program in my palm tx i can send text using my palm by linking it to my phone via bluetooth problem is i cant use it to check any recieve messages coz the built in sms program has a specific nokia phones to be linked to it.(tinkered some codes so i can send sms using my phone).when i click on the "check/read meseges" on that built in sms program it only says"no messeges" but when i check on my phone i have some messeges. so i have to get my phone to check/read my messages. any program that can sync my palm tx and my nokia phone via use of bluetooth so as to read and send text using only my palm? hope i explained it well:( if there is none thanks anyways:)

Thanks for providing a quick response. I have LoanExpert on my device. The reason I was looking for Mortgage and Loan Prepayment calculator was that it can calculate mortgage payment based on prepayment option whereas LoanExpert cannot.

However I managed to find the serial # for Mortgage and Loan Prepayment calculator V 1.2. The serial # is SP-368-AMPR-D6 in case someone else is looking for it.
