Copy - The patched MobiTV.prc file to RAM - effectively replacing the installed MobiTV.prc

Install or Copy MobiTV Start.prc to RAM

Run MobiTV Start

Any of the above steps that may have been missed (especially deleting any earlier versions of MobiTV) may be a cause for failure.

Do you have call rec installed? If so check if its enabled when call comes in.

Do you a sms filter or call filter app? if so, uninstall it and see if things get better.

Do you have phone log app? Same as before, uninstall it and see if things get better

There are lots apps that can do that but they have different ways to storage the notes but it will not be Palm Memo compatiable. If you ever change to the palm pre or any other platform you will have problems. I have exported all my memos to a Nokia 5800.

If you are willing to change to a different type of storange, you can always use txt (notepad) with tealdocs (or many other apps) or microsoft word with Doc to go.

But if you want to keep the memo standard for future data export (this is what outlook understands withe tghe palm desktop export), i suggest using "psmemo" and divide your memos by parts (title part 1, title part 2). It has a very good search feature on the go that if you put the same title in each memo (also can put tags like in twiter, just write #tag name), the search feature will find it with a few key presses.

One of my friends had a Phone that did that, he mad his voice really high and kept calling people and telling them that he was running for homecoming queen and they should vote for her (well, him...) It was quite fun. :)

well I have a centro and I've tried running it from both card and ram, and uninstalling it and installing it, hope that can help you answer my question.

OK, Sims 2 does run on the Centro so the phone itself is not the issue. (Sims 2 causes some problems on the TX)
I can run the file fine on a Centro Simulator.
It's best to have Sims 2 run from RAM

I can think of three possible reasons for your problem:
1. The file became corrupted during download or unarchiving. (Uninstall, Redownload and try with a 'fresh' copy)
2. There is not enough RAM left on your device to run the game properly. (Check how much RAM you still have after installation. Sims 2 may be a memory hog...)
3. There is something else running which is causing a conflict with Sims 2.

Unfortunately, I don't have a Centro (other than the Simulator) to test more. :(

Perhaps someone else who has a Centro can give some feedback on the issue (where they run the game from, amount of RAM left, conflicts, etc.)?

There are a couple of apps that I know of. One is graffitti and the other is jot. I use jot and am happy with it on my 755p. I use to use graffitti but found jot to be a little more intuitive.Try both and pick one. For audio gateway, you will need to post the device specific code and not your HSID......

to find your device specific code, run audio gateway.....then press menu.... go to help..... press register.....then press help.... you should see your device specific code in the message that pops up......

is there some kind of application that makes it a little harder than juss tapping the screen to answer phone calls ? im tired of answering phonecalls while my phone is in my pocket because the touchscreen is accidentally activated by my thigh or something
its kinda stupid that the keyguard gets disabled when you have an incoming phone call

With "Butler" you can make it a two key press to accept call or disable call. Also Treoguard can also disable other buttons.

I have my hangup key disabled, because i use it to turn on screen and turn off screen also. If I got a call at the same moment I'm turning off the screen, I would hangup call. I use Butler to fix that.

I use Butler to do things like that. It works great!!
I changed my green button to make my Palm phone screen to come on, and the small button under the green turns on my Takephone.

Bulter is a nice little app that do other nice things too.

That should have taken care of the reg. Double check that you followed these steps (which I forgot to include earlier...sorry ). I'm thinking the last step was missed.



How to use the patch:

Is the Garmin device you currently have not a road navigation device? What device is it? I would think that if you can see the garmin receiver on your bluetooth screen on your Centro that a navigation app should also be able to see the Garmin device and be able to pair with it. Have you been able to see the Garmin device on your bluetooth device list on your Centro? The only restriction I can think of is if the software on the Centro restricts access to certain GPS receivers (probably not very common). If you have any other GPS apps on your Centro see if they recognize the Garmin receiver. Let me know your progress.

After doing some extensive research I found a device that runs the Palm O.S called the Garmin iQue 3600. I had hoped to be able to locate the .prc file that is responsible for the GPS functions, download it and install it on my Sprint Centro then pair my Sprint Centro with my Garmin GPS unit that has bluetooth capabilities to provide me with GPS capabilities on my Sprint Centro!

I'm very hesitant to install the software I've located for two reasons... first I don't know which software to install because I can't seem to locate it in a .prc format to put on my Sprint Centro! Second, the website clearly says that the software is only for the unit it was intended for and could render the device useless if installed on the incorrect device!

there's a Pathaway keygen in this thread somewhere. If it is not i can upload one. Use the latest version (4.0.89)

Pathaway can "understand " several GPS protocols, but im pretty sure that Garmin NUVI's do not send their GPS information over bluetooth. BT is only for speakerphone calls.
And Pathaway only uses raster maps. It's a great tracking utility anyway.

What you can do is having the NUVI sending the GPS location over USB cable. It is a non documented feature:
-Turn On the NUVi, press the battery button for 10 seconds, untill you go into a hidden menu, exit the menu, connecto USB cable ot a laptop or whatever else.
Now your Nuvi will be sending its position over the USB cable according to NMEA Protocol, which can be understood by most software.

It works with laptops but .... can you connect a NUVi to a CEntro with a USB Cable?

Try increasing your free RAM before sending the file.

PS: my 2 cents i tried garmin xt with my treo 755p on sprint and i decided to buy a standalone GPS it was not worth all the effort to get this working.

it can be done with gps reciever and maps install on sdcard, also it will drain your battery very fast... there is a thread about garming and palm phone on sprint... e E2xiel was doing the same thing he used a external receiver and palm phone...

Are you able to see your iQue on your Centro bluetooth device list. If not then the signal is probably not accessible. Instead of all the workarounds to get the iQue to work with your phone, I would recommend a standalone GPS app. I use a GPS receiver that is the size of a matchbook (VERY small) and TomTom6. The receiver is the Freedom Keychain receiver and it sells for approx $80 USD. The TomTom app is available on one of the forums here. It works great for me. Let me know if you decide to do this and I can assist with getting TomTom.

Nice to see you back. Your always welcome. I also recently bought a Nokia 5800 but I still use my Palm Treo 650, it just does lots of stuff right or the way I like it.

Would be nice to hear about your experience with a Windows Mobile? No worries, be honest? I've used some and I think the system is a bit slow and multitasking is not has good as Symbian phones which feel most more stable, and Windows Mobile are crashy like PalmOS. Am I mistaken?

My experience is that, there is still no perfect system out there, yeck on my laptop i use mac, windows and linux at the same time with vmware.

I'm hopping the Palm Pre will be the most perfect but still it has some down falls, no SD card and a 3.2 mp camera, whatsup? But have to love that processor and the web development and the multitasking metafor.

The Nokia N97 has a dual cameras, a 5mp camera, carls lens, dual flash but has a 400 processor, what???

Iphone, no multitasking????? *** damn it

Windows Mobile could of been the next best thing but I think its heavy and crashy.
