its a kind of adventure puzzle

it realy makes her somehow very happy
she dont knows computer or similar machines as handhelds and she is not very interessted in it :(

Is there a PRE topic here? Couldnt find one.

I have my pre for about 2 months now. Love it. I use the plam profile and it backs up automatically everyday. I have been reading lately where people had to do a hard reset and then when they would restore, alot of their contacts were missing! I have over 1100 contacts and would be pretty upset if I had to do a restore and something was missing.

I was told to have all my contacts in google. More reliable. I havent figured out how to get my contacts into google from my pre. From what I understand, I can sync my contacts to outlook with pocketmirror. Is there some sort of serial or crack for that?

i have a same problem and i solved it by.. re formet SD card by palm Card info..
this problem occer basically if the Sd Card Secure Digital card device id : no is erase.. so make sure you format it by Palm card info soft. not by PC..

Here’s my situation. I have an .m4v file that works on my “short’n’squat” iPod nano...but not on my Centro. I have TCPMP and the H.264 video codec doesn’t work on TCPMP. The audio comes through fine.

I have heard that both Kinoma Player and CorePlayer are better than TCPMP...but they are payware (not a prob at this forum). So do either of those support .m4v files and if so, could someone post the code, etc. for either one or both of them? Thanks!

Secondly, is there a program out there that can change the “So and So calling” screen to something less nineties? I mean UltimatePhone does a good job on the phone app but not on the receiving calls side. Is that even possible on a Palm?

Also I happen to have Note Pad if anyone is interested. When I got my Centro I was dissapointed that there was no note pad...I use that program all the time. I hooked my Palm T|X up to my PC using Pc2PDA (Freeware App) and checked 'Show Rom Apps'. From there, it was a piece of cake to remove Note Pad and Note Pad_enUS from my T|X and stick them on my centro.

i have a tungsten e2
i had a problem with hotSync
i did press hotsync in the palm it self and on the cable the button which also initalize the hotsync
sometimes it did hotSync sometimes not
by pressing hotsync on cable or palm it self it did maybe sync 1 time whyle pressing the buttons maybe 6 times
if it did not hotsync windows did show a USB connection which did say that there is a unknown machine on USB port

i did try all combinations of pressing i thoght maybe it must be the right combination, because sometimes it did work sometimes not

then i did search a lot about this problem

i got solutions like buy new palm, buy new USB port, buy new PC, uninstall hotsync and reinstall, edit the windows registry, and many trygic solutions more

until i found the absolutly joke of solution!

just lick the UBS cable (or clean it with alcohol)

first i thoght its a joke like "lick it and throw it away"...
but no its absolutly serious!

the contacts maybe have some oxide or dirt on it

lick it and it will work

(if you ever feel that you have this kind of confuse problem)

i did try PDAreach ... works low on my PC... like 286PC :) now i can use it to cheat in games, to play slowmotion ;)
the new version did not work ... as the others i got "code=773" with 1.55
this error did appear on tungsten e2 with xp pro and original version as also with the medicine
version 1.54 works how ever
i guess the error is original ;(

maybe a cool crack-head can fix the error for them ;)

the blue remote i did search on google and found everything else ... something for this pocked pc's or playstation and wii and what ever
anyway i guess this "blue.." indicates that it is for bluetooth connection with PC
sadly my PC dont know about bluetooth :(

i had some problem with tealock
i did try it on tungsten e
in combination with some mini keyboard software and the build in keylock
it was hard to get beck into the system

tealock did lock everything and prevent applications from running without unlocking tealock

so the build in lock did lock me out and activate tealock with did also lock me out so i was two times locked off my system

then tealock did ask for pass
i was not able to use the mini keyboard software because this was locked to
and the mini KB did hide the build in Keyboard

also the tealscript softwae was locked so i was also not able to write on the screen properly

somehow i got back after 100 resets
at starting up i was able to write something for some seconds
happyly my pass was very short and simple
i was so wise to not trust in this locking **** thats why i did use a short simple pass as llll and to not encrypt everything or anything but just locking to test the application

anyway i think its a joke
ure it good to lock your self out and prevent your children from using your pda

but i guess if someone realy wanna break in your pda or have to do do so there will be a way ... some guys sure have a master key and others sure can generate one or extract your data otherwise

so why locking the machine? ... use the simple buildin lock
this will give less problems

but if you need to encrypt your data with risk of loose everything because it gives you the feeling of powerfull security why not :D

generaly i think the best security is your brain
if anyone wanna steal your data it will only be a matter of time until he will do it
you can encrypt your data and hide your data as you like

if it is to prevent your childrens from acces on your data i suggest the build in function or a database manager which let you hide the data
then you can hide data with many woerthless data so if they realy understand how you hide stuff they still have to search the sensitive data in all the useless data which is hidden with the sensitive together

i guess most people have problems with google and if you hide something they will never find it... but in the other hand there are people they know how to hide and if they will search they will also be able to decrypt your data and break in stronger protections then tealock

it ask for this deviceID ... so if you have this fill it in the field where it ask for the ID ...
then i guess you have to make a folder on your PC with the skyThing files in it
there should be a *.pdb and a *.prc file
now you have to locate them from the KG there should be a open button
now you have to select the folder or one of the files or both of them
i acctualy dont know it but i feel that selecting the folder is what you need to do
then you press the makeSomething button ... generate or something like that
it ill do something on the files in the folder
now install them on your machine
if there are allready these files in your machine delete them first and reinstall the new ones

and now hope that it will work

as i said i have no idea but maybe it will help ... if not you have to wait until one who knows it will correct me... and if it works i hope this SkyThing will make you happy ;)

Im not sure what happened when you used teallock but it has been pretty stable to me so far. I got version 7.15 maybe thats why. Not to be a nag but can someone please give me the registration code for Teallock 7.15 Standard Edition? HSID: Chris Lee. Thanks a lot.
Also, whenever I use the security system that already comes installed with PalmOS, my palm resets everytime I unlock my device. This is why I'm using Teallock. And Teallock is a lot better looking and fits my needs perfectly.

yeah.
1. open the keygen
2. put your device id.
3. browse the skyscape folder:- usually on C:\Skyscape
4. open the product folder up to Palm Install File
5. Pick the .pdb file - where it is used to generate the keygen.

use the version1 skyskcape 2008. its work.

Look for Documents to go (DTG 11) on this site. It is all over the place... Install first to main memory RAM, then you can go to Menu>Options>Manage applications, and then you can to move DTG to card. Or you can use LinkStart to transfer DTG (and other applications as you like) to the mem card.

But that is not the same place. The place I was at had some sort of header on it...like the "GSM-Forum > GSM Mobile Brands -Software Area- > Smart Phones & PDA/PALM Organizers > PalmOS > Palm Appz & Games" at the top of this page - but I remember it did not say Palm. I remember being surprised and wondering if it would work on a Palm - quickly figuring that if the poster sent someone there, it had to work.

I would suggest you use a different user name for each phone. I suspect that when you try to hotsync the 650 after the Centro with the same user name that you have Centro apps that are not compatible with the 650. Try giving one phone a different user name and hotsync. Let me know if this solves the problem.

What i'm looking for is a music trivia game..ONLY music I used search and downloaded trivia machine and because it looked so good i actually bought it and didnt pirate it for a change but it's kind of boring. I also downloaded TRIV but its not all music.

So what I'm asking is does anyone know of any trivia game thats just music like idk 70's to present day?

jdonmc: I tried Norton once before I found out you don't need it with Palm. Kept forcing me into hard resets. Have had no problems after deleting it over a year ago.

backup your phone and perform a hard reset. I know this is a hardware issue and not software but may be outside chance there could be a conflict with 2 apps trying to run together..

worth a try nothing to lose beside hard reset don't load your back up file and see if it is still happening that way you can rule out software...

Do you mean in the dialer launcher? Then you can't without software called "Skinner". But if you mean the actual palm then you can go into Prefs and change the color theme, or download a program like skinui (free) and change your skin. Not sure if this is what you were asking for but best of luck!

thanks, I was aware of the (caps/lower case) for the HSID. I just used uninstall manager to remove VolumeCare 6.17 and reinstalled it, then used keygen to get the serial, got same serial(16153), however it is still telling me the serial is invalid.

I followed above instructions as mentioned by Saj:
- Downloaded 1.55 from megaupload, installed, registered successfully, but couldn't connect due to 773 error.
- Uninstalled 1.55
- Deleted registry folder of Pdareach, cleaned registry through Ccleaner
- Installed 1.54 from above junefabrics link, copied patched pdareach.exe to C\Programs\Pdareach. When executed gives this error:

Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because PalmOneRemote20Live.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I've already installed-uninstalled - reinstalled Pdareach, but I keep getting this error.

Please help me get this done. Either with a fix or with a serial(HSID: Deepak) if possible.

Here is something that may help you in cracking it's code:

I reinstalled again, but before applying patch file. I tried connecting the app with Centro to find out if it works. It worked, without any issues. I used it for 15 mins then closed it completely. And then copied patched exe file to C\Program files\Pdareach folder and executed it. And it gave me the same error(This application has failed to start because PalmOneRemote20Live.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem) again. So, that concludes problem is with patched file, which also means it can be cracked for sure with a new patch file.

Also, just in case If you can crack it's serial code, here is how is their registration serial format

CorePlayer does definitely support flv. I use it regularly, download clips of video from YouTube and transfer to card and use CorePlayer to play it.

During calls, at random, the phone will go silent. I can hear the other person, but they can't hear me. It does this even if I use my bluetooth, and disable the touchscreen during calls. It is really annoying, especially calling about a job and they hang up on me. If I hit the volume up button while I am talking, it works again for a few minutes. Does anyone know how I would go about fixing the problem? I am on T-Mobile if that helps

Sometimes this problem is caused by the headphone/mic jack connection sticking. You can try pushing a headset jack in and out of the connection a few times to see if it unsticks the contact. Let me know if this works.

No updating this like that. I generally download the latest version and transfer to my SD card using Card Reader and delete the old version.

I had this problem quite some time back and had a lot of headache because of that. Went back to version 1.1 which worked fine. Now I am using the Bell Time 1.4 patched version since about June 2009 and it is working fine. Try this latest version which is patched - register with any serial
