Did you know that you can set up a phone number for speed dial without an app on the Treo and I presume the Centro. Not sure which phone you have but on the Phone app page pull down the menu and select Edit Favorites Button, under Type select Speed Dial then fill in the info. For example I use Label: Home

to speed dial my house. All you do is press and hold the Quick key on the keypad and the phone will dial that number.

No updating this like that. I generally download the latest version and transfer to my SD card using Card Reader and delete the old version.

Oh...isn't that too time consuming process? I mean when you can connect to mobile site directly for updates, why go through all this fuss?

Well, now that I've your attention, can you please provide me a serial for most recent version of Kinoma Player Ex(tried installing patched files available here, but I can't update to latest version with it. I already tried everything I could (clean start, made a warm reset - and worked - and restored things - and did not read again). I do not know anything else (and funny thing is that card reader reads the card - which means the card is okay).

i think your Card id is erased.. example : SDM_0000000010009d7

all you have to do > go to card info on your palm
then format card and rename it.

do it twice this step until you can see your card id.

right now i'm searching for a free msn messenger on treo 680 than can accept Italian and English...mundu could not get any foreign language ...

quickim was perfect tell it asked for license....can't find license anywhere on net...can u find me 1 plzzzzz

and plz make the instruction's simple because i'm really bad at this stuff...

Could you search for MultiUserHack and after you install it - run it. Select the program/software and change the user name (HSID) and then when you run the other software, you can register with the given serial.

Is there any app out there that allows the Centro's keys to be used in Gaming? Many popular games like MyLittleTank, Arvale, Gems, and Classics don't allow me to use my buttons on the phone...is there any fix to this?

PowerSDHC is not cracked and won't be...... we don't touch that app..... and if you have a centro you don't need PowerSDHC...... I have an 8gig micro sd card in my centro.....

and I don't know why they are so large...... you sure your ebooks are around 500kb...... Audio should be way bigger than that.....

Yes there is...... you can use this keygen by discover...... keygen is a windows .exe file......

Just change the name Masked Detective on keygen to your HSID and you will see your serial........

I have a treo 680 and that button doesn't work anymore so i can't type numbers or alternating symbols with the keyboard, i can use the keyboard help for some programs but not in all of them. the latest version is prally the best version coz it brings support for facebook chat thru nimbuzz although you can still do that thru jabber. am not sure if its stable on Treo 600, but its super on my 680. use the keygen to register the latest version

It is common problem on all Palm smartphones that is sometimes freeze but it shouldn't happened all the time. If it freeze when all callscomes, ask for another device in the shop (if you have still warranty) ;)

I believe the Treo 650 supports only cards up to 2gb...I do know that without Dmitry's SDHC driver (not sure if it supports it) it will not run SDHC for sure...since the 650 is an old device it might only support up to 1gb...

Download PowerSDHC from Palmpowerups.com and run it on your palm....give me your device ID and HSID and I can give you the registration code.

If you are lucky you can find some 4GB SD cards (I am using a 4GB Transcend in my TX) or you can buy PowerSDHC for $21 from http://www.palmpowerups.com/ (http://www.palmpowerups.com/) , PowerSDHC is a program written by Dmitry Grinsberg that allows the TX to use SDHC cards much larger than the usual 2GB. There is no crack for the program.

Plese use:
1. Stability Test,
2. Teal Mover (Tools/System Memory Test) and
3. Cleanup (Preferences/Unassosiated Preferences/'tsml'/Search ROM).
Your Treo must passed succefuly all 3 tests.

It's good but it's quite robust. It take very long time to load, I often get on my Centro the "Not enough memory" warning (Centro then goes to soft reset)... If you want just watch movies, try TCPMP which is free, smaller and faster :)

For your Treo 650, you would be better off if you use PXAClocker or possibly LightSpeed. It did not work in mine though it was perfect in my older Palm m515. FastCPU is for earlier devices.

why would you do that. palm phone is not a LCD - Plasma TV with HD tuner lol...

i would reduce movie using one of the compressing software, You will not see any difference at all

i had a movie 4.4gb reduce to 700mb reduce to 224mb and i could never tell the difference on my palm...

There would be no point in trying to watch an HD movie on a treo/handheld because the screen resolution is not high enough to perceive any difference in the picture. You would just be wasting SD card space with the movie on it.

The question is not whether you can download without registering BUT if you can use it after registering. I have been using it for more than one and a half years without any problems like what you are mentioning. Why not put up your HSID so that someone could generate a serial for you? Use it and then see if your problems remain or go away.

MobiTv errors

What has been up with MobiTv lately? I followed all the instruction posted for installing MobiTv, and the program worked wonderfully. However, lately I have been getting: Error 503 messages, the channel guide no longer functions, and it has been turning my screen white then soft resetting. At first, I thought maybe it was just the patch, maybe MobiTv caught on, but no. I download the latest trial version from their website and I still get then same errors and problems. I have tried hard resets, flushing my cache, and deleting my cookies like the website suggests, but to no avail. Is there any hope for a smooth MobiTv experience now a day, or am I just doomed.

later ROMs for treo 680 had better battery performance. That and a good use of Power Hero will do the trick.

I believe the Treo 650 supports only cards up to 2gb...I do know that without Dmitry's SDHC driver (not sure if it supports it) it will not run SDHC for sure...since the 650 is an old device it might only support up to 1gb...

Download PowerSDHC from Palmpowerups.com and run it on your palm....give me your device ID and HSID and I can give you the registration code.

with Rom Tool you can install in your Treo 650 the FAT32 drivers froma Treo 680 and then run SDHC the size you want and saving the 21 bucks to Dmitry

The term PRL actually refers to file stored in your phone. This file directs the phone to find alternative networks to operate on when the primary operator cannot be reached. Updating the PRL will store in the phone which are the most up to date, current networks to operate on.

This is often times a problem with the headphone jack sticking. Try plugging and unplugging a headphone into the phone to see if this fixes the problem. Let me know if it works.

As saj070 says it updates the networks but the prl update also updates the phone to include any new cel towers that have been recently activated. So maybe a tower close to you is not being seen by the phone and the update would allow the phone to see that new cel tower.

i think you need to calibrate your battery by letting it run down completely till the phone shuts itself down. then you connect it to the wall charger and let it charge uninturrupted till full.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

No, as has already been stated before I could respond, IM+ is not patched, nor will it likely be, due to it checking with it's servers for a legitimate key every time. However, there are two good alternatives, both of which are already listed in the attachments section,

One, is Mundu IM, which personally, I like. The other is Chatopus, which now supports Facebook chat through Nimbuzz. the program, and the generic Chatopus keygen seemed to work fine for me. Also, even though PALM is not officially supported by webmessenger, I also have it on my PALM Treo 680, works just fine. I recommend it as well. There was a link in the past few months that talked about webmessenger, search, and you will likely find it. Good luck!

Did you try the insert/remove headset a few times to see if that worked? I sent you a private message on a couple of things to try, one of which is Volumecare Bypass. Please check it then respond here on the forum to let me know if it worked. Since you said the headset is working, it could be that the speaker is broken. Check the message and get back to me here in the forum. By using the forum others may have suggestions besides mine and you will get more responses

i tried the volumecare bypass that did not work ive run out of ideas the headset works fine when i go to real player or any thing that plays sound with no headphones plugged in the mp3 music comes from the treo 650 ear speaker very low i dont understand it its like the treo just forget it has a backspeaker
