Hi,
i have the Logitech MX 900 Bluetooth Mouse and a 3com Bluetooth-Card 3COM 3CRWB6096B (with Widcomm-Software 4.0.1.700). The Mouse is running, but i canīt install the Logitech SetPoint-Software. So i donīt have Low-Battery-Alert and special Features of this Mouse. Logitech Homepage said, the new SetPoint Version 2.22 is running with other Bluetooth-Adapters than Logitech BT-Hub, too.

Anyone knows how to do?

These are exactly the files i have, i only have the newer Widcomm-Software Version 4.0.1.700 (i patched it for my 3com-BT-Card).

Have you tested the MX 900 Mouse with the older Widcomm-Software? Do you have the MX 900, too?

If i install the older 3.x.. Widcomm-Stack, do you think it will be running?

Widcomm 3.0.1.913 it is on Logitech SetPoint-Software and http://allbt.land.ru/btpc3ch4.inf 3COM pccard INF is works with widcomm 1.4.3.4, so need to run well.

Widcomm 4.0.1.700 is design for new chip BCM2040, BCM2042
Single-Chip BluetoothŪ for Mouse and Keyboard so not work proper wih old chips form my test it.

Try Widcomm 3.0.1.913 and post results here.

I'm trying to get my Dinovo keyboard and mouse working with my Belkin Cardbus bluetooth adapter. I've got the patched 1.4.2.10 files working no problem but I'd like the ones included with the Setpoint 2.22 drivers so I can use the advanced functions of that.

I can patch the files just fine and it gives me the white icon however when you go into the config and look at the hardware it says device not found even though the bluetooth adapter shows up in the system properties (It appeared as a Philips cardbuswhich is the same hardware).

What inf files should I be editing to get this driver set or later to work, I've had a go and so far my efforts have all failed.

SetPoint 2.22 isnīt running with BT-Dongles from other manufactures.

Youīll have to use SetPoint 1.02 or 1.05.

To install the driver and keyboard, connect first your BT-Dongle has to work. Then connect your Logitech-BT-Hub too. Install the SetPoint-Driver 1.05. Then disconnect the Logitech-BT-Hub and your keyboard and mouse is running with the BT-Dongle you installed first.

I use 3com PCMCIA-Card (look on first post) and my MX 900 Mouse with SetPoint 1.05. Now i can set my mouse buttons (only a few functions because in SetPoint 1.05 there are not as many functions to configure than in zhe newer Versions) and i see the battery capacity in SetPoint-Software.

I hope you understand my english. Iīm from germany and my time in school was a long time ago... ;)

Great, thanks for the info. I'll try 1.05 now and see if that works.

The reason I thought 2.22 worked was because it said so on the logitech site however you apparently need Widcomm 1.4.2.22 or later (figures that I have 1.4.2.1 :( ). Does anyone know what I might do to patch later Widcomm varieties to work with my PCMCIA card though as I'd still like to get a newer version to try to improve performance.

I got some problems getting my mx900 to work with logitech setpoint without the bluetooth hub. No mather what I try, It only works with the original hub.

I have installed the widcomm drivers from the setpoint 2.22 utility, used the patched files, and got my usb bt dongle working with the mx900 and widcomm drivers. Then I installed SetPoint 1.05, but I can not get it working without the hub :?

If I connect the hub, I get the battery info, etc, etc, however, if I disconnect the hub with computer running, I always get the "blue screen of death", so I have to reboot to disconnect it. When I boot again, SetPoint doesnt recognize my mouse.

Any suggestions?

hi,

I have a logitech hub and I can't use the widcomm software except if I install the version that is integrated in the Setpoint software.

But I would like to use the last version of widcomm.

I've readed and tried all. I use the last .inf file, the patches, etc

Somebody got it?

(Sorry for my english)
