I have been fooling around with some AT commands for Ericsson T10s and found out that there is a coomand that does blank the display: AT*EMMI=0,0,0
The first 0 switches off display, the second disables the keypad and the third switches off the backlight.
I don't know if all ericsson phones accept this command, if it does, you can try to give the following command: AT*EMMI=1,1,1
This should turn 'm all back on.
You can check if the phone accepts this command with AT* ort check the status of it with AT*EMMI? or AT*EMMI=?
Us hyperterminal to do this (set it to use the com port your cable is on).
