Probably the problem is not the unlock action. I have this problem one time, but there was only a resistance inside it. I donīt know why happend but a lot of T28 dead without reason (locked phones too)

I can vouch for that!!!

I've got 7 or 8 T28 units that people bought to me and I can't find a fault or anything wrong with them. All describe same symptoms, one moment working fine, next moment no life at all. Maybe this is why Ericsson decided to stop manufacturing their own phones!! :p

hi,
once I fix one like this, it has nothing to do about unlocking, any T28īs die sudennly, just open the phone and remove the cover, look the board in the side where battery conector is located, top left and you will see 3 resistors, 2 looks same and one more dark (mine put R05 1), take a look:

Hi firends I have repair over 100phones T28s dead. The problem is the P.A. module RM009. This is short-circuited. If you have the oscilloscope you can try to verify the value of the condensator near this chip and you see that is in shor-circuited. Change this and the phone alive. :D
