i am looking for unlocking info for a wavecom q2403a module
i have a flash file but it doesent work like the old modules

:o Hi, I have been trying to get these modules unlocked for over a year now.
The problem is you need to write a program that will allow to read the eeprom then change the lock bits from "1" to "0" then write back to the module. There are many people capable of doing this however they dont work for free. The demand for such a program is extremely small. If they make a software for the mass market they can charge little and get lots of money back over time. With Wavecom software they will sell only very few so not viable for them. I had a guy say he could write me a program but the cost was about 15 000 USD!
The only other way is by official Wavecom Software which has proved impossible to get and it is dongle protected.
Sorry mate fof the bad news, but thats my experience with these modules.
I now use GSM modules made in China called CV300 900/1800. Much more affordable at 55 USD.
