t18s problem

HI,

Ok, I’ll be honest with you all… At first I really didn’t want to have to do with any Ericsson at all… But now the boy next door has messed up his T18s….00w30…. I know a lot about Nokia and Siemens but this is an other story….
Ok, this boy has used a program (he doesn’t remember which one) and now his T18 doesn’t accept any simcard at all anymore. It normally turns on, ask for the card and than says “blocked”. I have downloaded the program ATR service 3.5 and used “unlock”… The program says that everything goes fine but still the phone doesn’t want to accept any simcard…
I see a lot of other commands on this program, but I decided to ask you advice because I don’t want to mess up this phone more…..
Please help me….

Hi, i think the NCK menu was desabled by using a wrong soft ² so u can't unlock it, now u just have to flash the phone using the T18R5AEU.SBN flash file with ATR5.3 then remove and replace the battery and finally unlock ,it should work. if not save the original EEprom file (read EE) then try to upload another good EEprom file ,type ur original IMEI and type REPAIR PHONE and finally flash it and unlock it it will work :) 100 %

Thank you for you advice, I downloaded the flashfile and flashed it with ATR 5.3... The phone is all ok now :-)
