I find finally why some people where so sure that
8180 was unlockable. Today one customer brought
me a 8180, he told me it was unlocked but now
it was not working...
it was a 8138 inside, I flash, unlocked again
and the customer was happy.
I asked him where did he buy it, and he told
me it was a present, it's a good man so I trust him,
and I trust him because he immediatly asked the nephew
where did he buyed and the guy on the phone told
the name of the shop, and told me the name of
the house-guy-unlocker-friend that did the job.
the nice guy told me he didn't opened the phone,
he just tried with Setool to flash with drive_C 8138
and too unlock, and woooooooola! he told he had
find 2 others phone originally like that!
wow! strange stories!!!!!!
anyone have a solution for this 8180 !?!?!
come on we can flash them, but we can't unlock them
it is ridicolous!!!! ;) ;)

hi friend, i am in the north east of italy and i have seen many phone with this things. after a little investigation i have discovered that here in my town
and in the city next to me(bs) there are some people that change board of 8180 with 8138. i have tried with many 8180 old and new with setool but
it doesnt work!!!!!

I tried, full and only Drive_C, the phone not switching on.
with full flash, error during flash. sigh sob...

Really ? So ridiculous. Remember first time when 8110/8120 were on market ? As i remeber there was the flasher free long time ago till some unlock to be done:D But still ... what u do with flashing. Unlock implies more stuff then firmware rewite.

mmm... I didn't know... I still have to understand very well
where is the "OP-LOCK" and "NETWORK-LOCK" in a cell phone.
in Software? in a Chip? is not only change something in the firmware?
if u can explain a bit it will be usefull. Thanks...
how much time do u think it will take to find a solution?
do u think SETOOL or CRUISER are near ?
is it so different from 8138 ?

and we all make 8130 with downgrade that enables entering codes
Any solution for direct unlock 8130 R?
I dont think that will be released for 8180 at least that someone find how to enter the codes in older models

One friend said me that unlock 8180r
The story is this:
He unlock the 8180r and after the phone turn off, he bring the phone to the official service lg and after the phone turn on unlock
Do you think is really possible?in assistence use 8138 board?
Setool doesn't read 8180r...which programm i must use?
Please next i will test do you say the results

Yesterday i saw the 8150 clip....
I supposed that i can unlock with this clip 8180r after i must can flash the phone....someone with cruseir can download the original v11 flash and after post in a server for everyone
I supposed only cause i don't have one lg8150 i don't see the difference....if somebody have one can post the photo of the board and the number of the flashes?

Ok these are the last bad news:
It was a long time I didn't flash a 81xx without SETOOL or CRUISER,
so it tooks me a lot of time to try FLASHRW 100 or 200 and I don't
know how many different loaders...
in the end: there are FEW 8180 that I can flash with all I want,
8130 8138, after the cell doesn't switch on, I try SETOOL VYGIS,
nothing always error. Then in the end I try to flash back with 8180,
on one I couldn't don't ask me why, I did flash like the others...
I discover one thing anyway after flash 8180 back I noticed
that it accepted the 2945..... really strange...
This is all, now I will bring these to LG center, and tonight I will try again:)
anyway I'm having fun like with NEC story.....

fake fake fake! I bought 2 copies, he never sent them or contact me,
after 15 days I called PAYPAL and asked my money back! :)

the LG U8150 unlock clip, you can buy it everywhere,
cheap, quick, works great... If I can tell here my Reseller are:
Multi-Com or I-phone. trustable QUICK (most important thing) and right price.
