I will post 2 pictures everyday for repairing all NOKIA mobile phones, if anybody wants to know more, ask me for help.

Advice:
1.change a battery, then have a try.
2.If not battery problem, change the battery connector.
3.change the charger connector, then try.

for hardware repairing, trying is the most important thing, my pictures could be good reference.

Hi guys..

i really need ur help...i m in Canada(Vancouver) n i got Nokia 6230 from Dubai...
its all workin gr8 ...but i dunno for some reason..i cant send or receive MMS messages..
i asked my service provider (Fido)..they gave me the required settings..but they said since its not a North American phone..i will have to call Nokia customer service in Canada n ask them..

they said the same thing..its not a North American phone ...so they cant help me in dat..

he just said that i look in the mobile phones forums n ask ppl out there..coz there are many ppl who might have the same problem...

plsssss guyss help me out in this...how do i start the MMS messages in my phone..
many of u guys must have figured it out..plss help me..plsss

n it doesnt matter if any1 of u is not in Canada...just tell me ur MMS setting step by step...

Yess, In Nokia 3310, capasitor C200 can cause not charging. and in 3100, 6100 N150 can cause No ring.

C200 isn't a motorola model phone. [COLOR=Red]C200 is filtering capasitor in Charge control to Chaps. If reconnect charger, cek R200 to R204 line.
And also check C200 from leakage, if Not Charging in Nokia 3310. not in Motorola C200.

Thnks for reminding me. My picture is suitable for some average solutions, and mostly chosen from our e-books. I have no time telling any one how to shortcirt, because the information is contained in the e-book.

1.1 Power Distribution, Control and Reset

All power(except backup battery power) is drawn from BLB-2 Li-Ion battery located in the Grip part of the phone. Power goes through LM3822 Current gauge which is used for current measurement and thus for remaining operation time estimation.

LG4 board contains two power ASIC’s UEM and AEM which contain the regulators needed for generating the different operating voltage. In addition there is a SSMPS in LG4 generating the operating voltage for display module backlighting. In LS4 keyboard the back light is powered with a current pump

Power-up sequence(Reset mode)

RESET mode can be entered in four ways: by inserting the battery or charger; by RTC alarm or by pressing the power key. After voltage appearing at UEM’s pin UEMRSTX(connected to AEM’s pin REFENA) is used as indication for AEM to start up HW regulators. Also VCTXO is powered up by using VR3(UEM). After the 220 ms delays regulator are configured and UEM enters PWR-ON mode and system reset PURX is released.

During system start-up, in RESET state, the regulators are enabled, and each regulator hcharges the capacitor(s) at the output with the maximum current (short circuit current) it can deliver. This results in battery voltage dropping during the start-up. When a battery with voltage level just above the hardware cutoff limit I s inserted, the system may not start due to excessive voltage dipping . Dropping below 2.8 V for longer than 5 us forces the system to PWR-OFF sate

Powering off

Controlled powering of is done when the user requests it by pressing power-key or when battery voltage is failing too low. Uncontrolled powering off happens when battery is suddenly removed or over-temperature condition is detected in regulator block while in RESET mode. Then all UEM’s regulators are disabled immediately and AEM’s regulators are disabled as VDD supply disappears.

Watchdogs
There are three watchdogs in UEM. First one is for controlling system power-on and power-down sequence. The initial time for this watchdog after reset is 32s and the watchdog can not be disabled. The time can be set using a register. This watchdog is used for powering the system off in controlled manner. The other one is for security block and is used during IEMI code setting. The third one is a power key watchdog.It is used to power off the system in case SW is stuck and the user presses the power key. This WD is SW configurable.

There is also a “soft watchdog” in UPP-WD2. It is used to reset the chip in case software gets stuck for any reason. The Bluetooth module also contains a watchdog

Charging
Charging controls and charge switch is in UEM. There are three different charging modes: Charging empty battery(start-up charge mode), PWM charging mode(without SW control) and SW controlled charging. UEM digital part takes care of charge detection(generates interrupt to UPP-WD20, pulse width modulated charging control( for internal charge switch and external performance charger) and over voltage and current detection.SW using registers controls all these.

Charges
NHL-2NA BB is supporting a standara charge(two wires) or fast(performance) Charge(three wires), Chargers ACP-7, ACP-8, and ACP-9 and ACP-12, Cigarette Charge LCH-8 are supported. With the standard version the PWM signal is set to 1 Hz, while with fast charge it is set to 32 Hz. Also PWM signal is connected from UEM pin to the charge’s control input. Due to high current consumption of the NHL-2NA BB, a performance charge ACP-8 is needed.

Battery
NHL-2NA Battery is a detachable, semi-fixed Lithium-Ion BLB-2 battery. Other batteries are allowed to use but NOT charged. Nominal voltage is thus 3.6-3.7V(max charging voltage 4.1-4.2V).

The interface consists of four pins: VBAT, GND, BSI and BTEMP. Pull-down resistor inside of the batteries(BSI signal) recognizes the battery

types. Voltage level at BSI lion is measured with using Em’s AD-converter.

on vsim and note the voltage change while u switch on the phone.
or you do a polarity test and note the voltages.

I have 3315.It restarts autometically.I changed flash ic now when I flash
with ufs-3 following problem occurs1st Boot Ok
2nd Boot Ok, DCT3, MAD: A1 G-01, ROM: 6, BUS: 16
FLID: 00200090,St M28W160T, Iw28f008.tia
Software: V 06.37 20-10-04 NHM-5 (c) NMP.
Algorithm Ok, [C834]

Hi I got many N1100 with blinking lcd.When I connect it to UFS3 and try to
flash it always fail with message like bad respnse UPP or sometime with message like platform error.
Slution to this is start UFSdctx uncheck autodetect,select model (1100)
select flash files (mcu and ppm) click start and now attach data cable to phone gently.you this is trial and error method.you have to try several times
sometime erasing stops at any % but try again and again you will success

I have same problem but only with 1100 and 2100 phones. Ufs-3 box says"1st boot error, bad response dct3"

And it`s not SW problem........;) I had one 6230i with same problem......Reflashed many times (even full erase) and still no resault!
