it doesn't work with the old maps, we need the new maps!

What am i doing wrong?......i've uploaded the tomtom files, but i don't see them?

I found my problem......it didn't end with .rar
I must learn how to read !!! :o :o



Just delete the .rar extension and it will work

In Which Phone are you uploading all this stuff...?
if upload in the Phone Memory, Make Sure all Files are uploaded in it..Not in MMC.
And if you upload all Files in MMC, then Make sure to upload all the stuff in it..Not in Phone Memory.

When I launch the program it's in Spanish or something. I get to a screen wanting auth number but don't know what I'm ment to enter,
I used the keygen but have no idea what I'm ment to enter in the 1st line in order to generate the correct code?
Theres not enough space to enter either the IMEI number or phone number.
p.s. I can't find the Great Britain map any where!

i've first installed the tomtom mobile 5 whitout maps that one i didn't need to activate
then i installed your maps they where showen in the program only the activation code didn't work
The product code wasn't correct i think does somebody know in whioch file it's be situated?

Perhaps you still have it in you're browser's cache, or have saved login details. I'm not using any download managers, tried it with both Firefox and Internet Explorer, it's asking for a user name and password, it's obvious.

mrplentyhow big is your menory card then? I thought 7610 had 8Meg + 64Meg card and this file is 97Meg compressed. :confused:

i have a 512meg card . the maps is 105meg and the install sis file is not that big 2.3m.
i installed both on to the root of the card and runs fine from there.

Is it only me or is this 5 part archive file corrupt, the 1st rar file comes up as unexpected end of archive ?

Also the tomtom5.sis in one of the other posts in this forum come up as version 4.01 when you install them???

I hardly know how 2 use that IRC stuff.

The guy I got the original software from (Erario on #Mediaplace) has the updated Italian, Canary Island, French, Iberian & Benelux Maps.
I don't have the Italian or French Maps & that Erario dude always has massive q's 4 his stuff.

Doubt I'll be able to grab the Italian map anytime soon m8.

The "Great_Britain.Postal" file is actually ment to be for Tomtom GO, so if it works on Go & Tomtom mobile don't see any reason why it won't work on Navigator for the PDA

hey people, i'v tried afew versions of tomtom 5 on my 9500 but it keeps saying 'specified object not found' i'm using a 1gig mmc which works fine on the fone, i can see ttapp itself and opening that gives same response, any ideas, all files are in root directory with nothing else on mmc.

Hallo There! I've tried both the tt5 version that need the activation and the other... but in all of them i've got the same strange error: the keyboard of my 6600 seems to be lockout.
1) When is needed to insert the keycode (4the activation) i cannot write anything....
2) If i use the other version i cannot coose the postcode of the desired city.... I'm using the italian map from the tomtom old version: the list starts with 00000 (typical italian code), but i suppose it's not the right way to scroll it up/down until i find the desired code...

Am i the olny one with that strange problem?

This Forum Supports a maximum upload size of 750 kb for a single file, so the large file are divided in parts..

OK..Ok..To get me more Clearly let me Explain it in this way, this TomTom File is of about 2.5 MB of size so it is divided into 4 Parts so that it can uploaded here..


P/S: Just DL All the 4 parts and then Use Winrar (http://rarlabs.com/) to re-join it again.

Could someone crack the 7710 TomTom like the s80 TomToms .app file to accept other GPS devices and not to ask activation codes for the maps? We all 7710 owners would REALLY appreciate it, thanks! works fine mate for me, just stick the files in the 'voices' dir on your memory card and then select it in the programme! i dont know about the bitrate thing you mention for nokias as i use a 6630 and i have celebrity voices like ozzy osbourne, austin powers etc etc directing me and they all work fine too!

You cant copy the whole system folder. You have to copy the inside files that are in the system folder into the system folder on your mmc

If you use a PC suite proggie or someting you don't see the System Map.
( It's normaly a hidden file ).
You can use ( Copy with ) a cardreader then you see everithing.
( Compu "see" it as a HD Drive ).

if so its the mmc card at fault.

You should maybe inform yourself a bit... it goes in a MMC card. The software will work without the GPS. It looses some of the appeal, but you can still project routes and view them. Also you can use it to find addresses on the map. A GPS receiver can be found for as little as €60 from eBay...

Just put ALL the folders on the Memory card and it will work 100%. The folders u shud have is System, Itn, Licences, Tomtom, Voices, GreatBritain and zip if u have the postcode finder

You will need at least 128mb (100mb is the maps!) and make sure you are using a Dual Voltage RSMMC card for 6680

I've got a keygen that works for TT Navigator 5 for Palm and for TT Mobile. If I can get a product code I can use the Australia maps on both. That's pretty much what I'm aiming to do. Ditto for USA maps.

.INSTALLATION AUF DIE KARTE
Ihr müsst einfach die heruntergeladenen dateien einfach auf die MMC-Speicherkarte (Speicherplatz E: ) kopieren.
Es sollten dann 3 neue Ordner auf der Karte ergeben - mit folgendem inhalt:
"tomtom" (=Ordner für Einstellunge, Stimmen etc.)
"system" (ist eventuell schon vorhanden!)
z. B. "deutschland-map v562" (=enthält alle daten der karte, bezeichnung egal)
ordner "deutschland-map v562" enthält folgende dateien:

sollte die Länge der Datei variieren kann es sein, dass ihr noch den crack drüberkopieren müsst (ist meist genau diese datei)

I have a nokia 6630 and have used your files and have successfully managed to run the TTMOBILE 5. However, after running into some other problem, I had to hard reset my phone and therefore re-install all applications.
when I tried to run TOMTOM MOBILE 5 this time, it didn't do anything. No error message or whatsoever. I click on it and it looks like a window is opening then nothing!! I tried to remove then re-install several times but in vain.

Anyone had any idea what to do in this case?

Mate, its a torrent - you need some torrent software like "BitComet". Uploading 1,6 GB will take too much time... just download it from torrent which I posted.

Nope...The one i have... ( PNA 562 )... is +/-210 MB
The newest one ,the Plus Map, is ( PNA 571 )...is +/- 412 MB

i have tomtom mobile london map if any1 wants it but i cant activate it for some reason, i downloaded it from tom tom site but when i try to activate it it say the product code is for croydon-london instead of london-london, is there anyway of bypassing this activating, thanx in advance.

The DE_AT_CH_PL_CZ_Plus-Map is the MAP Name..
Copy the MAP (with the files in it )on the ROOT of your MemCard..do it with a Cardreader for best result.

i hav downloaded tomtom from this forum and i hav the uk maps i hav installed the software on the mmc and the maps too when i open the application on my phone it loads up but it doesnt pick my gps reciever at all i hav tried three different gps units but same result can any one help me on this....I am using a 6680

i get the same thing on mine, it just means that ur gps has bad reception, try it out in the open if your trying it indoors
