Hi,
Please is it possible to use a GPS phone like Moto A835/Nec 616 as a GPS receiver for navigator software as TOM TOM.

No, TomTom does not work on those phones.But there is one called "wayfinder" thats installed as "try and buy" on vodafone nokia 6260 but Ive not been able to test down here as not getting signal.
Wayfinder uses an external Bluetooth GPS receiver
Please i'need any install any map file for pocket Pc with tomtom navigator version 3.thks for replay

Don't know of any free software. You can download a free trial from http://www.nhgps.com/

yes, there's a soft called Find The Place. It's a *.jar file, found on site listed on this forum. there's support fo a925 phone, and a group of people's trying to debug it for a835 too.

Yes you can use a phone that has an inbuilt GPS reciever as an external GPS reciever to use with Tom Tom mobile, Google Earth and Garmin Mobile PC and ,Garmin Mobile XT.
You need to find and download a jar program called EXTGPS a file of about 14kb on the phone.The phone will now be a bluetooth GPS reciever.
