Hi

Yesterday I formated my phone and when I wanted to restore my contacts I get "Could'nt restore contacts.cdb because it is in use by another program."

No program is running, and I can't delete the file :(

Any suggestions?

Thanks

When I activate flight mode it says "Enter flight mode? Phone will shutdown, then remove sim card and power on phone"

The problem is when i take out my sim card and turn on the phone I get "inser sim card" and I cant do anymore...

try to rename the folder "DATA" to anything (e.g DATAs) which stores contacts.cdb and copy the old contacts, paste it and replace the current one by the old one.(do it by a file manager program like File Manager).Post result if it wouldnot work.

I don't know if I'm following you...

I don't have the contacts.cdb file. Its when I use PC suite and use the function "restore."

So I need delete it something like that...

try Noki at: http://nokisms.googlepages.com to read and convert Contacts.cdb to vCard, txt, Excel .xls and html.

You can extract Contacts.cdb to vCards then copy them back to the phone using Nokia PC Suite.
