I can`t use MyAnimation for A2618s to change the startup show - it doesn`t find mobile on the com port. The problem is not the cable (I`ve wrote the EEprom several times). What is wrong?

By the way, MyAnimation (available for free download on Ericsson site) has many deactivated options. Take a look.

There are two different cables for Eric'es.<br />One is data cable (for original Ericsson applications like MyAnimation) & second is unlock cable (for unlockers).

Hi cristiv.<br />To make a data cable from an unlocking cable just move the data wires two pins left (with keyboard up).

Thanks. Indeed, the flash cable uses pin 6 for Rx and pin 7 for Tx , the data cable, pin 4 for Rx and pin 5 for Tx.

The solution is moving the two pins, solution that i`ve found soon after posting this topic.

Can the T20 my animation used for a T20 upgraded to t29?

MyAnimation detects screen size and resolution supported by the mobile (through *EDAW command). It should work. If not, download the T29 version, but I don`t think that there are signifiant differences between them (though different versions).
