Sorry guys, i have spent last 10 days out of home... I don't know if I am allowed to talk about it but if you have the famous software p2p "e...e" and search "route 66 maps", you are able to find a 1.6GB file with all the maps of west europe. I think that east europe maps are not yet available. ;)

View the Hidden Files in your PC, then insert the MMC in the Card Reader then You'll see a Faded 'System' folder open it and then you'll See 'App' Folder Open it and Paste the Specific Files of Route66 there..

Now, When you'll insert your MMC in your Phone you'll Automatically see a Route66 icon in the menu..

Still trying!!!I open system\apps, as you told, I leave inside a "ROUTE66" and "SYSTEM" folders(from the version I downloaded) but nothing happen when I restart the phone!!!If I use a "route 66.SIS", I install it, then it ask me to register it, I can't!So if I install, after that, the upgrade 1.04, it doesn't work when I launch it( error message:Appinst KERN-EXEC 3)!!I'm lost , I need this application and everybody can use it but I don't!!!I'M STUPID OR WHAT!!Please help me!!

Sori i don't have the Route66 USA Maps, so if you want you can use the Visual Tube it contains many Maps of USA city's like New York, Los Angeles etc...

Hi,
I try to put the files on my n6600 with bluetooth and then moved them with fexplorer. It didn't work.
The I try it with a cardreader, but couldn't see the hidden dir en files (if they were there?). And still get the error "App. closed Route66 Kern-exec 3"
Could any1 tell me what to do or send me a new files with every thing on it.
I didn't see any maps in the map dir.
What should I do now??

Where can you download maps? What file format(s) is compatible with Route66?
I noticed some of the maps are in .prm format. Route66 site refers to NavTeq for their maps; and NavTeq uses the SDAL format.
I have maps for US cities, but they are in .mps format (from Microsoft Streets & Trips). Is there a way to convert .mps to a format Route66 can read?
