E330 earpiece isn´t working...

Hi,

I have here E330 with strange problem,earpiece is not working.
But,strange is,speaker is ok and it is working in handfree mode! :eek: :confused:

Any suggestion is welcome!

you probably have a flat cable problem.try with another complete lcd and find out.before this, try *2767*3855#.maybe, this will solve you problem

Its a very simple soloution replace the hands free connector.
Actually Handsfree Connector is a switch which transfers the voice signal to handsfree or speaker(only one at one time).
When u connect the handsfree ,the audio signal from earpiece to headset will be transfered.When u remove it comes back to ear piece.

If the phone is fine with handsfree it means AUDIO circuit in phone is working properly.

Its only the switch faulty,which is handsfree connector replace it and phone will be fine.

This is a very common problem in Samsung models.

yes the prob is very common but not at the new models like e330 they set an new connector for handsfree it looks like a small usb-connector and there is´nt any switch in it.

so if the prob is´nt solved by typing *2767*3855# you have to look if there is an short circuit in handsfree con. or at the if connector (main con. at the buttom).
