ORIGINAL FLASH FILES IS NOT COMPATIBLE (read pgm and ffs from another phone)
ALL USER DATA WILL BE TRANSFERED(to clear user area choose on ffs "initialise" and press start)
next version will be released with DIAG area upload/download.

what you mean??there is no virtual com,only usb-unistall and reimstall drivers.

read the txt please
1.setup gx15 flasher (not copy/paste)
2.Connect phone WITHOUT BATTERY to PC
3.When the usb installer ask for drivers then give the path of gx15 flasher folder.
4.This flasher can READ and write PGM and FFS area
ORIGINAL FLASH FILES IS NOT COMPATIBLE.
DO NOT USE DIAG AREA.
5.Use cable with charging function or NEC unlock cable,ORIGINAL WILL NOT
WORK.
6.If "Device" area is empty with phone connected,then you have to install
driver's again.

it works and repair:
dead by soft phones,"call failed" on specific networks,unlocks wap browser etc.

Can you unite GX15 and GX25 flasher in one flasher? I think it will be easier to install and use.

i don´t remebmer exatly what is the name, but when you unlock the phone you format diag area (no?) just format all you see :D

How do I flash my gx25 with original sharp firmwares like A02-008-0120-GX25.mot from this thread http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=230947. I have tried with both gx-15, gx-15/gx-17 and gx25 flashers by Platijet in initialize_mode=0x00 and 0x01 and neither works. I get a “Download Error [0x02]” when I put the A02-008-0120-GX25.mot file in the Program area of the flashing programs in 0x01 mode. In 0x00 mode just get file unsuitable error. I know the gx-25 flasher in 0x01 mode works for the ferrari files as they are split up into program and filesystem files which are seperate.

I flashed several sharp ( gx15/25 ) but i have a problem with one gx25 => always ' error ' or ' download error ' , can you give me more info about this error ?

Go to the folder where is installed the flasher, open a fille called flash.ini, find the following line:
INITIALIZE_MODE=0x01
change it for:
INITIALIZE_MODE=0x00
now you can flash original sharp firmwares.
If you want to flash extracted firmwares put back the line to 0x01
I dont tried it, but i think it will work.. with gx15 it works

You can open an original firmware and split it into two.. the program and filesystem.
(original_firmware)=(program)+(filesystem)

Have tried this and it doesn't work. I split the file into program and filesystem and tried Platijet's flasher and it gives Download Error [0x00] or [0x02]. Platijet can you shed any light on the differences and how we can split the original firmware to work with flasher? What is the difference between GX15 and GX25 flashers which allow GX15 flasher to be able to flash original firmwares?

and i installed drivers for gx 25 when i plug the cable and system xp recobnise the phone and install the driver.
i runned pgm and i c usb port in the flasher
and i select flash file for ferrari posted in forum
but always download error 0x01 when i c ram loader received and system appear message usn device not recognized and when i unplug cable and plug him i c the driver correctly.
what's the pb plz.

First SPST for GX-25 works with USB port ,
and second it dont work in my case ;-) :p
Use USB cable but open your Device Manager to see isn`t it installed on com-port number!?!?!?!?!?

I have this same problem. I flashed it with ur flasher but it remained the same. Is there any special setting that will repair this problem?

flashed with ferrari without problem and all works ok except that you cant send/receive texts?
the text button is greyed out so settings cant be changed
can make and recieve calls fine
anyone know why please?

Hi, I have same problem. Tried flashing GX25 with A02-008-0120-GX25.mot . Just keep getting error message [0x02].
Tried flashing with ferrari software and it worked fine.
Tried again with A02-008-0120-GX25.mot . Just the same error. Any Ideas anyone????????:confused: :confused:

you must know that ferrari is also vodafone brand.in your case something is wrong cause we have many exampls of sucesfull flash with ferrari files.

Sorry to be a noob but can someone explain to me what a flasher is?
I have a Sharp GX25 with the vodafone red & white software and i want to change it back to the software that comes with the non-vodafone GX25 (called GZ200 i think). The phone itself works perfectly fine. Will a flasher do this for me? If not, can it be done and what would i need to do it?

i try with flasher usb cabel but it dont connect to pc.ihave all redy inst. the driver but still same prob.

Just rename the files.
Rename it and chane the file extension to .mot
