Setool3 LG 8180/8330 Flashing Guide for N00b's

Laser released the new 8180@8138cnv/8330@8130cnv files early this morning, however i've been unlocking both phones since 2 days without problems using the 8130(R) conversion files on both phones, anyway make the cables as shown in the picture, load both files 8130_101_drive_c.ssw.cry & 8130_101_main.ssw.cry with the ADD button, put the needle on the correct TP and the clip on the sim holder and press FLASH when Setool3 tells you to press done quickly remove the needle on the TP and Press DONE, once flashed do the same as you did above with the the respective files 8180-> 8138v100 - all 4 files & 8330 -> 8130v101 - all 4 files, then to unlock them place the needle on the respective TP and press UNLOCK when asked by Setool3 to remove TP and press done you must quickly remove the needle and press done, make sure you TP is clean from the protective wax and that the TP
needle(cable) is correctly soldered, i have added a few pictures so you can see...

PS: Make sure you put a check mark in FORCE FLASH before you start the procedure!
PS2: The newer setool3 version is 9132 and not the one shown in the picture.
PS3: Any errors received is due to a faulty TP connections or in slowly removing the TP when asked to.

i remember correct that i read from mobile f i l e forum that it is recommended to add a resistor between the clip and the needle to avoid damaging the phone .

since 2 weeks ago... thanks....... and Cruiser too, and too and too...

WHERE DO U BUY THE DONGLE UPGRADE ?!?!?

Yes, vygis was an nice surprise some time ago.
Lead made solution also.

SETOOL is late, but not with solution, but with dongle release.

Now SETOOL dongle is released and Laser can finally show again to everybody who is the best and the first man in SEMC .

Sell all the torex you have.Sell phones opening tools.Sell solgering stations. ;)

From Monday no more openings and making test-points will be needed. :D

No need for test-points while unlocking from Monday my friend. ;)
Maximum time needed for unlock/cloning lg8180 & lg8330 is around 900seconds.

Hello my friend, i've flashed successfully 3 H3G Italian U8180 ver 11a directly without TPing, remember that "force flash" must be ticked and don't make a mistake because you won't be able to direct flash a second time, any way MobileLand said that Monday a new Setool Version for direct unlocking will be available :D

hi mate, trust me in the beginning i kept on forgetting to tick the "Force Flash" and the second time i wasn't able to flash it again with the TP :) However Monday we'll finally get the Direct unlock version of setool, to be honest even if i open the phone and TP it to flash it has become very easy and you can't tell that the phones has even been open :D Have a good Sunday my friend ;)
