New Cingular SIM in unlocked Treo 600

Cingular just "forced" me to take a new SIM and free phone in place of my existing AT&T SIM.

However I have an ulocked Treo 600 and the new SIM won't work in it.

Any way round this? Cingular says no.

Check other stores non-Cingular branded for an older version simcard and have them call in to swap service to it. Just don't tell them the real reason.
