I'll start................
I changed an IMEI on a 3220, and the process of changing the IMEI worked fine, the IMEI did get changed.
But now the phone doesn't pick up a signal from the network, any idea why.
Could it be maybe that the phone is a 3220 from Cingular and was working on a 850 MHz band, and when I did the IMEI change the flash may have been patched to to a different band like a 1900 MHz for example.
Any ideas???
Just flash the phone and see!!!! Maybe problem is not in IMEI changing.

Phone was working fine before imei change, so something must've got changed during imei change
Just change the imei number to the original one again and see what happen! I guess u changed to an imei number which is barred or not allowed because of any reasons!

I'm happy to say that I just did a 3120 witout a problem and it works 100%

Hi thawizzi. you mension you have succeded. I was wondering did you use the usb uni box or possibly twister, and maybe if you could log how you repaired the phone. Thanks mate

wat is your previous imei, and after patch imei?? i have some case on this, but is not on universal dongle problem. its rpl problem. 1, checksum with pm files n eeprom in uem. 2nd, some rpl like starting from 0 or 1 cant use on my country. But just few set having this kind of problem.
But this case with universalbox i think there still some bugs in writing eeprom.
n i really hope they can solve this problem and universalbox will be the 1st ever who really did ask to rpl without logs. Surely will be famous. I'll keep waiting, hope can fix it soon. :)

this was not because you changed imei but may be sure because you used a wrong pm file so you dammaged your phone regards
