I have recently upgraded my Orange SPV C600 rom to the AKU2 upgrade, however, I am now unable to install the REGEDIT application to app unlock the device. I have browsed the numerous message boards and forums, to no avail. Does anybody know how I can Application unlock my device?? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and forgot to mention, launch appl from the phone. Use Active Sync to transfer to Storage Card (some ppl complained about not being able to launch from Storage card but I had no problems) or phone memory. Use file explorer to launch regedit etc.

I found out how you can make an mp3 ringtone for your smartphone. Here's how in case anyone would like to know:

Just add your mp3 to smartphone\application data\sounds\

If you just want a certain part of the song to be played you have to use a sound editing software and cut out the part yourself. Then go to your sound settings and set the mp3 as your ringtone.Thats all to it.

It's actually free except for the editing software, that you'll have to figure out yourself.

I think the same application can be used for PDA phones too.

Thanks for the response. But the REGEdit only works on the older ROM version, once you upgrade the ROM to the newer AKU2 Upgrade you cannot access the program as Orange have Blacklisted it. A lot of people are having similar issues. Hence, BEWARE if you are considering upgrading your ROM. You will NOT be able to Sim Unlock or Application unlock your phone via the SPV Services application.

Worked for me just fine.Just run the Keygen on your PC and input your Device ID .You can find that by clicking Register... in Sniper. Then press the button below!

One more time: Keygen refuse to do anything on PC inluding showing an icon, but it does request stupid framework on mobile, actually your keygen doesnt even have a keygen lookalike filename

Hi guys
In Symbian OS when we press "0" twice, we can go to the next line, like "Enter" button in Microsoft Word, but in SP3 when we press the Action button of course it goes to the next line but when we send in to another person she/he deliver it with two space not next line!!!
Is there any program or upgrade to fix it?

1) The keygen is made from Visual Studio with .NET Framework 2.0, you need to have .NET Framework 2.0 on your PC in order to run the keygen.
2) For mobile, you do not need to install .NET Compact Framework 2.0 in order to run Sniper, it can run on the .NET Compact Framework version on all WM2003, WM2005 Smartphones, FYI, it is possible to put .NET CF 2.0 on Storage Card, just google for the solution.

Thanks! When I try to install it, a screen pops-up on my Smartphone stating:

Memory-Map Weather Radar (PPC).CAB failed to install on your device because the installation file is not intended for this device.

Any thoughts? Is this a PocketPC version instead of a SmartPhone version?

I'm running an i600 with WM2003.

BEWARE
Just some advice for anyone wanting to upgrade their SPV C600 Rom to the newest AKU 2 upgrade. Think about it very carefully!!! Once you have installed this you will not be able to run the REGEdit application and hence you will not be able to Application unlock/de-certify your phone. You will also NOT be able to sim unlock it using the SPV Services application. Even using the Resco File Explorer will not allow you to app unlock it!! If anyone has any ideas please post here (aprt from contacting Orange Developers, as I have already tried that, to no avail).

I think it's possible to unlock the C600, i upgraded my Qtek 8300 to AKU2 and i was able to unlock it with an approved regedit for this phone.

Here u go all with this cool game with very stunting graphics compared to PC MS Dos version:

Wolfenstien 3D
Wolf3D was the first 3D person shooting game for PC. This game was my personal favorite way back college days. Isn't it cool that we can now play this on our Smarpthone? Thanks to roozbeh for making this possible.

Controls:
up-down-right-left are for moevement in any view modes (i.e. portrait or landscapes)
* for shooting
# for opening doors
call/drop call buttons toggle portrait or landscape view
arrows for navigation

You can also customize controls (per game) like assigning numeric keys for movements, shooting and opening doors.

v1.2 Updates:
- icon added
- 2 landscape modes are availble now...
- some bugs fixed
- turning sound on and off from game added
- start of releasing of other wolf versions like SOD and wolf full version

Its just a shareable version but it doesnot require any registration. Also it Has support to add other episodes like spear of destiny etc if u have downloaded their respective file. I don't have any.

About the Game:

In the episode escape from Wolfenstien U have to escape the Castle by just clearing its 10 storys. But its diffficult to go to the lift after u clear the first 5 stages

Weaponary:
- Knife
- Handgun
- Machine gun
- Chain Gun, Which I like the best u'll get it at 3rd stage or 7th story.

app unlocked so you can use regedit then unlock your phone,
i use o2 so dont want to try it just in case!

UPDATE! done it, works ok, phone still unlocked and didnt need to app unlock it either,
there's not much difference, got sim manager seems a little faster and the internet works properly
using o2 payandgo! Anybody know what this push button email is? trying that next

I just came across this thread and I must say it sure is packed with a ton of great Appz/Gamez. I was unable to find one that I am desperately looking for.

It is eXtreme Agenda seen here (http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=2370).

My version has just expired and I need a "passcode" to register and keep using it. Please can anyone help me? It's just too good to live without.

sorry to shoot you down mate but this is not really helpful since most of the users have their own personal username in their phones.

the problem i see in the instructions given on how to register Resco is that it was not indicated that when you run the keypatch.exe, you need to try and register the software using any code. this action will cause the software to give an error dialog where the registration code appears. afterwhich you will then run the actual Resco Explorer and input the code you got from keypatch.exe.

initially, i did not get an error code because i just ran the keypatch without trying to register. i think this is what happens to other people and they get stuck to this. fortunately, i found the accurate procedure (in english) from an arabian website.
