So, Strengthcoach4, V 1.8Q was just released 10 days ago. Has a newer version been introduced after only 10 days?

I haven't had a problem yet with V 1.8Q but have only used it for two days.
Based on other comments, it appears there is alot of interest from other MotoQ owners. Guess we'll have to depend on NOkia4 to gives us the latest QCaps solution. Thanks again to NOkia4 for expediting his/her great solutions!

Does anyone have a solution for the latest Sprite Backup for WM5 Smartphone 5.2 V5.1 doesn't work for WM5 SmartPhones. I'll be there will be alot of interest in getting the newest solution for a great back-up program. If it is not available, does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative program for WM5 SmartPhones?

get SPV_man its free and its great! Is there a mame emulator or a decent sega genesis emulator? I have the cingular 2125. i want some more nice games and the new TCMCP!! the 1.0 or w/e
PicoDrive is the ABSOLUTE best Sega Master System emulator for smartphone. Genesis & Master System have the same games, but you might need different roms. I play Sonic 2 on it, and it works perfectly on my 2125.

From what I'ver been reading from other forums, there seem to be two different files for MS Voice Command 1.6, one for Smartphone, one for PPC. However, the license file is the same (hence the confusion).
Thus, we need to find the smartphone version.

I have a problem installing VITO AUDIO NOTES on my HTC Str Trk!!!!!!! :confused:
Although I have unlocked it with SDA_Application Unlock and done the suggested registry edits, still once I click on the cab file it immediately pops up the message: "The installation of VITO Audio Notes was not completed successfully". I even tried to run the crack first and it said that it couldn't run due to improper certificate. I really need the application.
What should I do??????????????????????????

Curretly I have found always a program folder icon is missing, instead a yellow file folder icon on the top of the original cute progrma folder icon, I think there is a virus in my imate SP5 samrtphone, has anyone met this before, and how could I fix this proble.
At the moment I have to reinstall the infected program to get its original icon, but another program icon is chaged into a yellow file folder icon? I really don't know why? Please help!! Thanks in advance.:confused: :(

Yes it's the same as 1.5, they both share the same guide etc. Those who have upgraded their smartphone from WM2003/SE to WM5 will find voice command 1.5 installs but fails to function.
Version 1.6 is for WM5 "ONLY".

Tested and functions brilliant, define your own keys, even see what FPS you're pulling. Mines at 45-70 on an o2 Xphone II. This works far better than Quake which stutters every 3 minutes.

Previously you had to also install the PC version to obtain the DUKE3D.GRP file to be included with the files transferred to your smartphone. I have included this file and removed the PC install as I think most don't want it on their desktops too;)

Thanks to all that have contributed so much on here, it has been great to see what is compatible with WM5 xphone II rom, eg. I just purchased Atlantis Redux with 3D movies and it doesn't work!!!! Lastly if you appriciate the software you find here, purchase it! :)

I would not recommend the soft reset at the website previously provided, it requires net framework ce and is sluggish. However everything else there has proved to work very well giving me an extra 4mb of mem to run apps and made web browsing much faster.

I just downloaded the trial version of pocket stars v.5 and installed it over v.2 that i found previously in this thread. It automatically applies the registration so you shouldn't need a new serial or crack. At least i Didn't on my htc strtrk. The new pocket stars is sweet!!!

Install the craced files befor run program differently u got an sharing error. Or u may don't setup photo dialer plugin as home screen.

Thanks for that but this is doing the same as the file provided in another post... It just locks up after selecting English. Someone else had the same problem. I have 9mb of mem so that won't be an issue. But yeah I haven't seen a good racing game yet, hoped this would be the one... Someone should port the first Need For Speed! that played well on my old DX2 66mhz(years ago) so it should me sweet on the smartphone...

Yes it will automatically uninstall the previous version after being prompted but remain registered after installing the new version. I have successfully installed v5.1.5.4...

This is for WM5 176x220px only! (Those who have upgraded from WM2003/SE to WM5).
As the title implies give your mobile the Vista look! It has cool little smartphones that pop out with light/shadow effects as you scroll through(WM5 Roll-Over Support).
I retrieved the original from HERE (http://smartphone.kleinweder.ch/) (those wanting this in 270x350px can find it there but without the matching start menu).
4 Hours of image editing and and then a little XML, Wolla!
Included is 2 reg tweaks, one to have the start menu background image and the other to arrange your icons in the order you want them.

For some reason, the posted version of Profimail (v2.32) does not work corectly (i.e. I cannot access the menu) on my Cingular 2125 (WM5). I have tried the keygen with the current version (v2.57), but no success.
Does anyone have a more recent version of Profimail. I saw 2.41 and 2.40 in this thread, but the links are not active anymore.

I need help this is what hapenned : yesterday leave it the whole night loading next to a closed window when i woke up today at 7 a.m. the battery was superwarm and when i trie to turn on it turns on but when the screen goes to windows mobile screen goes out of one now if I leave the cel connected to the pc this one uses the PC"s energy and if it is possible to take but when I disconnect it it goes out to the instant....
Please I need help for my it is the battery sure becuase I was listening musik all the time with the earphones and I was overheating but when this hapenned i open the phone and was cooling it of return..
Many thanxx and excuse me if I am a nuisance but go to postear all llos days the same thing until hefinds an answer...

GOT IT TO WORK........2nd Try
you might want to uninstall it first.....I did
Copy The CAB file to your Q
Copy the two cracks to your Q as well
On your Q run the cab file
Install to your device, or SD card.....I did device
When Photo Dialer Screen Comes up just EXIT
When photo dialer. cab successfully installed screen comes up press Done
Now find the first crack
PhotoDialerInstaller.exe
Move it to Program Files/V2RPlugin
It will ask you if you want to overwrite
press Yes
Find the second crack
PhotoDialerSMP.dll
move it to Windows
Go to start menu and run PhotoDialer Installer
go to register
I used 0123456789
click register
then reboot
if this says you need to have to have a registered name then you havent filled out Your Info on your Q

Yes, i have.. the instructions were:
Rename all files so that there is no ".rar" on the end, so they all end in 00*(whatever the number is..)
Then take hjsplit, and join them all together, and it makes the EXE file.. worked perfectly the first time for me.

Yes, thanks again NOkia4! I Have been using the program for a few days, and I love it, but I am having problems that the newest version (1.9) fixes. Would it be possible to get the newest version? Thank you so much everybody for your help and thanks also for going out of your way getting programs specifically for the Motorola Q.

Yes, but to start it, you either have to have a launch icon or navigate through the start menu to it.
It does use a 'Record' button to start it as well, but I guess this is found on PDAs.
You are also supposed to be able to assign another button as a 'Record' button, but either I can't see how to do it or it's another Crap MS port to the Smartphone.

It is a cracked trial version. when the trial is up it doesnt normally allow you to edit the options and modes.the crack allows you to edit these....please correct me if im wrong

This doesn't really help but i ran into the same problem before with trial software replaced by cracked, and the only thing that fixed it was installing that second update from the end of August. I think you have to either a)reformat it or b)go into the registry and delete any evidence of the trial software.

Both...many times each. Each time I did, my version said "Trial expired".
So here's the funny part...I went to the register option in the menu options and enter the "Device ID" value in the "Registration Key" box and it worked. Did I miss some instructions indicating that I needed to do this? The .rar file I downloaded didn't have a readme file or anything like that...just the .cab. file. I feel like quite a tool.

may there is a plug in for this or else you may scratch the xml file.What you don't know xml language, no problem.Open another xml which it appear the wireless option on the screen and search for wireless code, copy code to the organizer theme, it may need something more but I thing it is not so hard.

Anyone Have a Working Crack for Opera 8.0 for windows 2003 smartphones. None Of The Other Cracks Worked. Some say replace the opera.dll with the cracked one and start opera up after. after i start it up it says error cant run opera.dll. You need to understand that just because people download the cracked version, doesn't necessarily mean they were going to buy it had it cost money. As in the case with many CD's I download - I listen to them becuase they're free, but it's not something I would have bought in a store, so your not losing out. You're not obliged to provide tech support, bandwidth or anything out of your pocket to support these copies.
Software is pirated. It's a fact. Live with it. Focus on selling your software to people other than this community. Also know that we are your best advertising tool, whether you like it or not. It's a great App, and some people here will be your customers, some will delete it from their systems, and some will reccomend your website to their friends who arn't savvy enough to find the cracked version. We get a different percentage of the revenues depending on where the software is sold. We use a 3rd party, Mobihand, to sell the software, so the money goes through them, hence the reason we take only about 63% of the revenues. This means that any support issue pretty much cancels out all profit.
Our software has been on sale since Oct. 1st, so you need to cut your projections in half my friend. This means that we've made $4700 profit in 60 days. Considering these devices have a short life span, you can see why we are concerned about having our software pirated.
I realize that a crack is a form of flattery but this is my profession, my investmen, my risk, my time, and I have a family to support. I'm simply pointing out the facts to let people know that developers aren't all millionaires. We are small business people, just like who used to run all the small businesses in this country before Walmart, Home Depot etc.... Innovation comes from the small software houses with QooL ideas. If we aren't supported, we'll make boring but profitable business software.

IMHO, the problem with bad sales is not caused by the pirated software. Seriously, how many people in this board are using the Q? It's not even released outside North America. You're already starting from a small customer based. If you continue the support of your softwares for the PocketPC platform, I believe you'll see a much better figures.
All the big PPC developers used to be small players as well. I remembered Alex (from WebIS) gave away his software in the early age of PocketPC. That product has morphed into one of the best selling PPC software: Pocket Informant. Same can be said about SBSH, SPB etc...Do they care about piracy? I don't think so. In stead, they spend most of their time interactively with the users for supports (new features, etc...). Guess that works out, as sales are good.
The bottom line (as has been pointed out above): those who looks for warez won't be your customers anyway ;)

Great app!!! Looks much better than Papyrus.
However...
Copying the cracked .exe file over the original does not seem to solve the 14-day trial registration issue.
Read the "NFO" file carefully. You're supposed to copy the patched .exe file over top of the existing Agenda One, and register it with any user ID and serial = 123-456-789-123.
It works.

I can only speak for myself but i usually download a program to try it. I HATE crippled or demo crap. I will go out of my way to pickup a cracked app then if i like it, i have no problem donating 5 or 10 bux just for the support and knowing that i will get an email with the updated software as soon as a new version comes out. Believe it or not pirated software can be your biggest advertising. The more people that use it the more its sperad around the more people , like me are going to find it like it and buy it.

BTW, I'm not the cracker. If the newer version got spreaded then it's not coming from me.
IMHO, the problem with bad sales is not caused by the pirated software. Seriously, how many people in this board are using the Q? It's not even released outside North America. You're already starting from a small customer based. If you continue the support of your softwares for the PocketPC platform, I believe you'll see a much better figures.
All the big PPC developers used to be small players as well. I remembered Alex (from WebIS) gave away his software in the early age of PocketPC. That product has morphed into one of the best selling PPC software: Pocket Informant. Same can be said about SBSH, SPB etc...Do they care about piracy? I don't think so. In stead, they spend most of their time interactively with the users for supports (new features, etc...). Guess that works out, as sales are good.
The bottom line (as has been pointed out above): those who looks for warez won't be your customers anyway ;)

Copy the cab file in the phone via activeSync, then run it from your phone and it will install... install to device, not memory card or it will not work properly.

This preview release of Adobe® Flash® Lite™ 2.1 for Windows Mobile 5.0, planned for release later this year, allows mobile developers to create Flash Lite applications and content for both Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone and Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC configurations. Mobile developers can now benefit from cross-platform development since Flash Lite 2.1 for BREW is also based on Flash Lite 2.1 and allows repurposing of content and applications with minimal changes for another platform.
Flash Lite 2.1 is based on the Flash 7 standard for content. This means that content developed in the Flash 7 authoring environment can be re-purposed for mobile and consumer electronic devices. The preview release contains the following features (see the release notes within Product Details for more information):

Installing the player on your device
Download the .CAB file for your device.
Connect your device to your computer via ActiveSync.
Copy the .CAB file to your “My Documents” folder.

On your device go to File Manager > My Documents.
Select the FlashLite.CAB file and follow the install instructions.
Activating your player
Before you can use the Flash Lite 2.1 Player on your device you will have to activate it. Each installation of the player requires you to activate the player using the unique device id (IMEI number) of your device.
On your device go to File Manager > Program Files > Adobe > Flash Lite and launch the standalone player, saplaywm.exe. This will show up a registration information dialog.
Open up the File Manager->Program Files > Adobe > Flash Lite->License.txt.
Write down the 40 digit alphanumeric string and go to the URL provided.
On the registration site enter your 40 digit alphanumeric string to activate your player.
Your Flash Lite 2.1 Player will be activated.
