thanks for the reply. i get to the 'press 0 to restore to factory default', and when i do, it goes to the Audiovox splash screen, then to the WM5 screen and freezes within a minute. I've been told the only way to fix this is with a new rom, but 1st to unlock it from the bootloader screen (all i can get) to install the rom. what a pain! all i did was a restore from sprite backup and it froze during the registry part near the end. i was installing from an old smt5600 with a different rom.

AFAIK, your progams have been on sale for about a month, and selling 500 copies is nothing to sneeze at - by saying you get half the profits, (which I find odd that handango would take 50%)... on second thought, it's not even on Handango, so how is it you only get 50% of the profits from selling it off your own site?

In any event, $14.95 * 500 = 7500, so in only 6 months you'll have broken even, if you did in fact spend $50,000 on the venture. Not bad, most business men would be envious at the situation. You need to understand that just because people download the cracked version, doesn't necessarily mean they were going to buy it had it cost money. As in the case with many CD's I download - I listen to them becuase they're free, but it's not something I would have bought in a store, so your not losing out. You're not obliged to provide tech support, bandwidth or anything out of your pocket to support these copies.

Software is pirated. It's a fact. Live with it. Focus on selling your software to people other than this community. Also know that we are your best advertising tool, whether you like it or not. It's a great App, and some people here will be your customers, some will delete it from their systems, and some will reccomend your website to their friends who arn't savvy enough to find the cracked version. Just don't come here and moan about how we should buy your software, then call us cheap and unnapreciative.

I dont know if anyone has google toolbar installed but i found that you can add a translate button on it and set the default to whatever language you want. I have mine set to russian so when i view a russian site i can just click that button and it automatically translates.

I installed the program called 'Rightmenu' yesterday, but now I see some wierd thing happening.. I have an I-Mate SP5m. Normally when u click on settings u see this:

1 Phone
2 Sounds
3 Profiles
4 Homescreen

etc..

Now I see no numbers anymore but letters:

A Phone
B Sounds

etc.

So that's wierd. Because of this, I wanted to delete the program. But it isnt showed in my 'installed programs'. So I went to the file manager and deleted the folder, but I couldn't delete the program itself.

What can I do about it? Do I have to reset my whole phone?
I hope someone knows what to do.

Ok, just found out the reason: The posted file was not corrupt but had a wrong extension. It was gzipped after it was zipped and did not have an .gz extension.
I'll just post the corrected file again. BTW - its Version 1.5

Did u try killing the program through task manager if you have one? If not then try that then delete your file I have to do that a lot on my smartphone.

Did you recently pair up your phone with a SonyEricsson? Or maybe a BT keyboard? Anyway, here's the fix: Change the HasKeyboard DWORD to 0 at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell and reboot your phone.
BTW RightMenu has nothing to do with it.

I have recently bought xphonellm with hope everything goes fine........but again.............like my xphonell.....this is worse....because i cannot play all my video using windows media player 10.....why? I get this error message

1.A registry entry is corrupt;
or this message
2.An object or name was not found

I really hope someone can solve my problem instead asking me to go to the service center....

I am thingking to reformat or ..do the hard reset...but i don't know how to do it.....and in fact i've read that if i do the hard reset...i will loose the o2 connect...........which i don't want. Another options may be to reinstall the Windows Media Player 10....but i can't find it in the internet and windows web site............

I've got a Xphone11 curently running WM5. Not sure if it will run the WM6 Rom but hey, someones gotta try to find out and it may as well be me...

Other than a few extra bit it dosn't appear to be all that different to WM5 - a bit of extra security and what-not, but over-all pretty much the same.

Would be interested to find out if there is an upgrade path for WM5 to WM6 and also interested to see if the Xphone 11 will run it... plus (of course) I like to stay ahead of the masses!
